My first and only complaint about the place was that it was hard for me to find. It sits on the corner with a couple of other buildings and it's a very busy area and their signage was not clear to me so I passed it a couple of times before realizing exactly where it was. It wasn't immediately apparent that there was parking in the back either. Once we figured that out, it's all good from there. Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. We would both recommend Magnolia & Fig for a fun boutique experience and a nice selection of clothing to choose from.

The day my daughter and I visited the shop initially we were greeted by Leslie and Yvette. These ladies immediately assisted us in finding a formal dress for my daughter to wear to a black tie event. The selection was varied and beautiful. The care and attention received by the knowledgeable staff rivaled the service we have received at Nordstroms, Von Maur and other upscale department stores and boutiques. The bright pink and palm trees are everywhere. The fitting rooms are especially tropical/delightful. Lilly Pulitzer only has two big sales per year and I went to the January sale hopeful that I would score some beautiful clothes for a discount. I had seen their social media posts that morning with people lined up around the corner so I was a little worried that I might have missed the good deals. If it weren't for Chuck, I don't think I would've bought these boots. No, he didn't talk me into buying anything. He didn't press me to buy a certain brand or type of boot. I felt like a trust Chuck. I took his word. That guy took the boots off his own feet to let me feel how an exotic leather becomes more supple as you wear and condition them as opposed to how rigid and tough they feel on the shelf.
