This place is so friendly! The pizza is delicious and they have a really great lunch deal! I've only heard of this place though a coworker but the first time I stopped by here for a slice I was surprisingly impressed. The vibe was chill, the greeting felt like a local dive in the best way possible and the pizza was delicious. The slice I ordered was a special they had on their menu for the day. I thought the cheese to ingredients ratio matched up perfectly and the under carriage wasn't soggy. The slice they give you wasn't little and a very good value for $5 something for the slice. I will be back again. Friendly, delicious and easy to find. All the best check marks when you want something quick and easy but not fast food. Too bad I forgot to take a photo!!!! Besides missing half the toppings on one side for some reason on the flying hawaiian with how expensive this place is, it's good. There is definitely better in town in my opinion though especially ones that I haven't experienced a miss portion of toppings on, not dying to come back. We bought a large pizza to go it was $36, sausage, pepperoni, black olive and mushroom. The crust was burnt, the sauce (if you can call it that) was minimal, raw, and flavorless. Pepperoni was so thinly sliced you could see through it, was barely present, and basically low quality, and cheese also had no flavor and was minimal. Staff seemed nice and restaurant appeared clean and festive. We ordered around 4 pm, so they were not busy and the wait was appropriate. The Pizza looks good in the box, but honestly the flavor is absent. I have no idea how Guy Fieri, famous Italian chef, could have reviewed this pizza as being excellent. They really need to make some improvements in the quality of their ingredients before we will return. read more

Went to Pinky G's for music bingo and pizza. Got there early to get a table. Beer was well priced with several good beers on tap. Get a piece of pizza and a house salad. Pizza was delish. Chewy and crisp crust with a nice sauce and toppings. The salad was meh. Would probably try a different salad or skip it next time. Music bingo was free and fun. I was on a trip, and this place was within walking distance from my hotel. I figured I'd give it a try. Their pizzas are big. Let's just start with that. I didn't want a whole pizza, but luckily for me they also sell pizzas by the slice. The slices are also big. You have been warned. Two slices was all I needed. Their pepperoni was just OK, but their pie of the day (sorry, I can't remember the name but it changes all the time) was excellent. They have a great beer selection. My bartender was awesome. I had a chance to chat with one of the cooks, and he seemed to be a cool guy. It's essentially a bar and a pizzeria combined. There's TVs playing whatever sportsball is on, but the volume is off and you can just read the closed caption if you want to know what's going on. It's clean, with kind of an old-school feel to it. Located in the venerable and now renovated Sargent's building, Pinky G's is one of a small chain of pizza restaurants and has been open less than a year. - Margherita pizza quite good. I would say the style is a hybrid of Neapolitan and NYC. Foldable but just barely. Nice char on the bottom. - Greek salad is also good. Server brought out a second bowl and explained that the easiest way to add the dressing on the side was to cover the salad with the second bowl and shake it up. Worked a charm. - The sign outside proclaims that the A/C is working. It surely is but maybe they need to dial up the temp a couple of degrees. It was a bit cold inside. - It's a loud restaurant. Music is loud; Banter between kitchen and front is loud. - Nice tap selection of local beers. - Limited options for vegetarians, particularly if you're wary of the cheese they use (possibly aged with animal rennet). They do have a couple of salads. - Really don't prefer the 'order at the bar' style of service. Works OK for your first order but if you want a second round of drinks, standing in line again to order is annoying, particularly if there's a rush. Table service would be nicer. - Various seating: several seats at the bar, several booths in the front room, several low-tops in the front room, quite a few high-tops in the back room. Decent pies although I prefer a thinner, crispier crust. This is more like a NY style, foldable crust. The toppings on my pizza were very tasty and they didn't skimp on them. Service was great. We were a group of nine and were driving from Sunriver about 20 minutes away, so we called in our order. When we arrived our pizzas had just been boxed up and were waiting. No problem finding a table large enough for us. However, somehow we either forgot to order or it was missed by the staff, a large combination pizza was not included. Tried the place based on a friend's rave review. Sorry to say I can't rave about it, generally underwhelmed. Service was fine and the atmosphere ordinary. My order was a Calzone, added spinach, black olives and Italian sausage. Toppings were generous but they should be for what they charge. They brought the Calzone price to $25 which I found high. The dough in the outer crust ring was raw/uncooked. If I went back I would order a slice before I would take a chance on a whole pizza. read more

We tried the new Pinky G's for lunch today. The owners have done a great job remodeling the place. The staff are great. It's mostly a self serve place. You order and pay at the bar, pick where you want to sit, get your drinks, bus your table, etc. I do take issue with tipping when I pay. Tipping should reflect the food and service you receive. We got the Pepperoni and the Meatball Parm pizzas. We thought they were just OK. (We prefer Fat Tony's Pizza). Everyone has different tastes, so please do give them a try. read more

Honestly, this is probably the best style of this type of pizza in Bend. It's one of the few places that actually uses fresh jalapeño for example. Also, inside is pretty nice and the pepperonis are good quality. I would say the only for my order is that the chicken tenders felt really mid. They didn't make them and just reheated. read more

A few days ago I went in for lunch by myself. I had to find my own table, get my own utensils, my own drink, my own Parmesan cheese, etc...after ordering at the counter where they ask for at tip starting at 22%. Then, when I sat down, I saw a sign that you must bust your own table too. WTF!! The pizza was mediocre, the garlic bread completely sucked because it was way too thick and the salad was just okay. Nothing was good enough to bring me back and the "entitlement tip" was the nail in the coffin.
