First time visiting Fat Tony's in Bend since the menu could accommodate someone that wanted pasta and someone that is vegan. The place has a little outdoor sitting area that is covered, so you can enjoy outdoor dining without the direct sun. Their patio is dog friendly and while we were here there were several people with their dogs. The pasta was really tasty, it came with a small side salad and garlic bread. They have a variety of pizzas that you can choose from or you can build your own. They have several vegan options as well. Service was great, the staff was really friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I would definitely come back, it definitely seems that this place is a local gem. read more

Bend, Oregon April 2026 This dining room has one large booth with three tables for larger parties and four other tables with chairs. The hostess is extremely friendly. We came here on a Monday night and they told us that the bone in wings were $.50 a piece so we ordered seven wings for $3.50 and they normally are $13. Good deal. Great deal if they taste good. We also ordered a large Regina margarita pizza for $23. We are eating in and nobody else is. Most people are coming by to carry out. The pizza came so quickly. It took all of seven minutes from ordering to serve us the pizza. The pizza was cooked and then they threw the cherry tomatoes on after it had cooked. So they were like biting into a cold tomato on top of my pizza. I thought the pizza tasted salty. The crust was very thick and soft around the edges. The cheese never pulled on the pizza. It was like it was pre-made and then thrown into the oven. The crust of the pizza is very chewy and soft. The wings were presented in a beautiful way. Sliced celery and carrots accompanied the dish. The wings were large. The barbecue sauce had a very smoky taste to it. The wings were tough to chew. The sauce was way too heavy. It was sitting and dripping with sauce. Not really the way I like my chicken wings. Not sure what the draw is to this pizzeria. It sits next to a Latin cuisine that was closed the evening we came. It is also attached to the end of a very large building that is empty and unoccupied. I had high hopes for this pizzeria joint. However, other than the super friendly girl that took our order, everything else was a big disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is small but their food was mighty. I noticed a lot of DoorDash & pickup orders (maybe because they only have a few indoor tables) but maybe because everything was great. The pizza was wonderful, fresh toppings, Cesar salad was fresh with house made croutons and the spaghetti with meat sauce came with a side salad and fresh basil on top. I went to Fat Tony's for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. My sister, niece and myself went there for margaritas and I ended up getting a whole 12 inch pepperoni pizza for myself and a mango margarita. When I went to order, the young woman was just finishing preparing a fresh batch of margaritas and they were excellent. They actually had mango chunks resting in the bottom of the glass. It comes in a margarita glass with salt on the rim as well as a second glass with the remainder of the blend so you can top it off a couple times when it gets low. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients - the cheese was outstanding, and the pepperonis were savory and mouthwatering. They have a nice little patio section to sit out under an awning and some other covered areas outside as well as indoor seating. All in all, we were thoroughly pleased and will definitely be back. read more

When we showed up, there was a huge crowd of people outside. Barely anybody seated inside so we decided to grab one of those tables. I was excited because I'm imagining this is going to be a really good spot, it seems to be a local hangout for Sundays. The girl helping us was nice and friendly, was happy to make recommendations. I went with the meatball appetizer, the Caesar salad and margarita pizza. My expectations fell short, unfortunately with the food. The sauce on the meatball appetizer was amazing, but my actual meatballs were overcooked, like they were at the edge of the pan, and they were kind of hard. The Caesar salad salad was unremarkable and the four giant croutons on the plate just seemed like chunks of garlic bread. The pizza had a nice flavor and the crust was crispy, but for what it cost, there was not much to it. It took us a while to get anybody's attention to get some Parmesan cheese for the table or a refill on soda. There seemed to be a table that came in with an influencer or it was a marketing shoot maybe, everybody seemed to be very distracted, taking stuff out to that table and there was a girl posing for pictures with all the food. First experience was very good. The pizza was among the best I've tasted. Second experience was horrible. I called pizza in 20 minutes ahead. Upon arriving I was notified it was a 30 minute wait. After a half hour the employee notified me the "ovens were down". When I asked what exactly that meant she called a guy out. I assume he is the owner/manager. Without really saying anything he allegedly reversed the transaction. He didn't apologize or offer any compensation for the inconvenience. The ticket only reflected the price of the pizzas I didn't receive and not the 20% gratuity I had added. I contacted the owner after the transaction cleared and the money was deducted from my account. It has been 10 days and I still haven't been refunded. The pizza is amazing but the customer service not so much. It is disappointing because I want to love this place but they're making it difficult. read more

We drove through Bend and needed to refuel, so we decided on a whim to stop at Fat Tony's based on the reviews. There are a few tables inside, so we placed our order at the register and grabbed one. We kept it simple with a 16" half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good! The guy who brought our pizza out was super nice and brought plates, napkins, and silverware. It seemed like most folks stopping in were grabbing takeout. Either way, I would stop by again if in the area and craving pizza. read more

We had a very long wait in an empty restaurant and very disappointing pizza. I honestly don't understand why they get such popular reviews. We felt our pizza lacked flavor, low quality cheese, subpar pepperoni (tasted like a hotdog), and sauce that was basically absent. On top of that it was very pricey for what we received. We stopped here for lunch on Christmas day after a long hike and it was one of the only places open. We didn't really know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Regina Margherita but they somehow got the order wrong and made the regular Margherita instead, no big deal. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with almost no flop, beautiful leopard spotting on the undercarriage, slightly charred bits, and a nice balance of a fresh sauce, cheese, and basil. Sweet Fancy Moses!! Such good pizza! I had the (white sauce) Quattro Formaggio, and loved every single bit of it. The crust! (usually a necessary evil for me) was light and flavorful, and I took ALL my leftovers home. Service was quick, friendly, and exceptional. Casual atmosphere with great quick service. The proprietor/chef was efficient, paid attention to detail, and made sure we were well cared for. This meal is added in my memory of exceptional meals, and we will be back! read more

We reached out to the restaurant, and was informed in no uncertain terms. That it was not their fault. It had to be the driver. Although it was the driver who said we should check our order. Always a must stop when in Bend. Usually get a pizza when we come in. Pizza quality is always on point with quality ingredients. This is a must try pizza stop. Our usual favorite pizza place closed early, so we decided to branch out. Well, we have a new favorite! We ordered a prosciutto & arugula pizza and a pepperoni. Sadly, photos were not taken, but we will be back next time we drive through Bend. Our take-out order was hot & ready as promised. Crust chewy, perfect thickness, wonderfully fresh tomato sauce on the pepperoni, yummy curled little discs of deliciousness! Arugula & prosciutto pizza was generously adorned. The house salad was absolutely fresh, crunchy, and tasty! I could not tell that they'd dressed it until taking a bite. Disappointed and Surprised I had high hopes for Fat Tony's after seeing so many glowing reviews and finally decided to stop in since I drive by often. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The pizza tasted like it was made with canned sauce and overly commercial cheese--nothing stood out. I'm honestly not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. Visiting the area, playing tourist and pizza was tugging at our growling tummy and tastebuds so stopped here at this local's hot spot. Really really good pizza! Hand-tossed dough even. Pretty impressive when scissors are served to cut the pizza! They say- "Italians do everything better, including cutting pizza with scissors!" We are a family of 5 that came to Bend to go bowling. Pizza sounded like a good idea and Fat Tony's did not disappoint! We ordered two large and one small pizza and they were all delicious! We finished them off with no leftovers! The crust was thin and delicious! Each pizza had the perfect amount of toppings! Everything came out so quickly! I bet we were there 40 minutes tops. Simply awesome pizza. Took our family to eat in on our first visit to Bend a couple months ago and everyone was thrilled. Super tasty margherita pizza, the "Al Pastor" with marinated pork, jalapeno and pineapple, and the prosciutto w/arugula were all amazing (reccomend adding hot honey). AND their Gluten Free - Dairy Free was my girlfriend's favorote pizza ever... and MUCH appreciated. Great staff and comfy little neighborhood spot feel too. read more

Once we placed our order and grabbed a seat outside, our beers came out shortly thereafter. We chose to eat outside because as busy as it was inside, it would have felt a little cramped with people waiting in line while we were eating. This makes no sense. Fat Tony's has a lunch special for Feb. For $6 a person gets a green salad and a slice of either cheese or pepperoni pizza. Left unsaid is the size of the slice, it is about 1/3rd of a whole pizza. I know, I know, but truly it is and I had to fold it, to eat it. AND pepperoni as a choice gets you Buffala Mozzaraella cheese along with your pepperoni slices/cups. Oh yah, the lunch special drink is a 1.00 beer. The wait was so long at Ken's artisan and we were craving pizza so we found this gem. Not going to win any points for ambiance, but if you want a tasty pie, this is your place! We got one with the same combo of toppings as at Ken's (mortadella and pistachio pesto) and then tried the same one at Ken's a few weeks later, and fat Tony's was just as good. We have gone to Fat Tony's twice. We need to come more often! The first time it was so packed and we were able to get seated right away. Our kids loved the pizza, we did too! You have to be here to experience the vibe. It's such a great neighborhood and local establishment. The second time we came, it was in the middle of a snow storm and they welcomed us just like the first time! The food, again, was amazing. The dough is so good! I ordered a mixed drink instead of beer this time and it was so good! The service was great (even though it was close to closing time). I would highly suggest! Passing through, wanted some pizza for lunch. Rare occasion my wife let me pick my favorite, the Hawaiian. Loved it! Great sauce, great cheese. Last 3 "new to us" pizza joints weren't worthy of a review but Fat Tony's was great, coming close to my favorite-Hot Mama's back home. We have spent five nights in Bend in the past year, and have eaten Fat Tony's for four of them! The pizza is tasty with a nice chewy crust and good amount of toppings. Prices for the pizza and drinks are reasonable. There are a few tables both inside and outside, and when the outside tables cannot be used, it does get noisy and crowded inside. If we return to Bend, we will definitely be back! read more
