The professionalism from Pets R Family was evident right away. Before the first time Scott sat for us he came over to get all of the information he'd need to care for our pet and home. He asked about our vet, emergency contact numbers, water preference, foods, etc. For our home he asked about things like the trash schedule and mailbox location. I know many people like boarding their pets, but I love the convenience of having my pet cared for in our home where he feels safe and comfortable. I love that I don't have to drop off and pickup, especially for early morning departures and late returns. In the past boarding meant parting with my pet the night before a trip. Now I just leave for my trip knowing my pet will be checked on. So easy! Scheduling sitting is so easy. We had the initial meeting years ago and now I just text Scott the dates we need him. He has always been available and has never left me scrambling to find another option. When I'm away I get occasional texts letting me know that all is well. When I was nearing my due date with my daughter I asked Scott to be "on call" and he was happy to do so. So when it was time to head to the hospital all I had to do was text Scott. It was such a relief to know that my pet and home would be watched over. When I return from trips I always return to a happy, cared for pet and my home as I left it. This time I was away in Europe for 10 days, and decided to hire Pets R Family Too and see how it goes. They first of all came to visit to see and meet the dogs and understand requirements. Then we discussed the price and schedule. As I left I was a bit nervous, but they were in constant touch over the email, which helped put me at ease. When I got home, my dogs were happy to see me, but they were also relaxed. I could not believe it! My house was also in order with zero accidents!!! Overall-Scott and Kim are great and I am looking forward to work with them in the future!

I noticed that he had gotten thin and was not his usually self. On Sept. 5th I had to take him to the vet. He weighed 13 lbs (on 8/6/25 he was at vet and he weighed 14.8 lbs which was always his normal weight give a few ounces). He also had fever of 103, and bloody soft stool and very lethargic. The next day I called kennel and told them what happened, I was told the owner would get back to me. No call from the owner, so I called again the next day. Same response. On Monday. 9/8 I called the previous owner, he told me that he would have the new owner contact me. The new owner Mckelle gave me a call that night. She told me after 2 hours they pick up the wet food (cans). Whether its eaten or not. My dog has always been a grazer (he eats when he wants too). Mckelle also told me that she would call me back the next day after checking the feeding logs. I never got another call. Basically they starved my poor boy and the damage to his system was irreversible. I had to put him to sleep on 9/9/25. My beautiful boy is gone because of them!!!! Avoid this place!!!!

From the get go, Antonio was great with my challenging dog and I really appreciated Antonio's balanced approach to training; rather than saying "oh you have to use this tool", he remained open to various tools and quickly identified which would work best for my dog and me. And so far he's been absolutely amazing. I'm a believer that it's the human that needs to be trained more than the dog. Because I'm the one that's gonna be helping my puppies. And lately it's been a little different for me and I definitely need some assistance. So far one of the things that I've enjoyed and has helped me feel confident about him is the way that he speaks and how he communicates information. I don't feel like he's talking down to me like I'm a dumbass. And I've worked with a lot of trainers. I've always felt like that's been important and I have a lot of things to learn always no matter what. And often unfortunately , there's been a little bit of that conflict. Or I'm the stupid one and they know everything. And I believe that they know a little bit more than me most of the time. And some of them have been very condescending and I don't appreciate that. And I usually tell them. But I have to say I have never once felt that way with Antonio. He speaks clearly and in a way that I can understand him and if I don't, I ask him to maybe say it differently because I didn't get it and he does and he's calm and patient and doesn't get all rattled and honestly right now. I kinda need that. Because I'm getting kind of rattled. I need some help. So far so good they're going two weeks and I'll give updates.

From the start, she was extremely rude and demanding when she came into my house and had virtually zero interaction with my dogs.
