Chicken flautas

Ambiance was cutesy! Everything pinkaaaaaa . Our server Leah was 10/10. The Birria egg rolls were 10/10. The guacamole was good as well. Everything else was pretty mid, flavorless and not hot once it hit the table. We still had to pay for the burrito even though we didn't eat it. I would recommend it for a cheap, happy hour spot for drinks and a quick lunch

Really nice place in Fort Lauderdale. Great happy hour and service is great and attentive. I would really recommend this place the food portions are great and very tasty. This is a great whole in the wall. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area. Their happy hour is from 4-7 with great selections. After I left I was stuffed. I would definitely come back.

It's my first time coming here since this restaurant opened. There is a strange unpleasant smell I couldn't get over. The waitress was super personally and nice. She was able to recommend some great dishes. My friends enjoyed theirs, I thought my quesadilla was too salty. May just be my taste though as the rest of my party enjoyed their meals (veggies bowl, fajitas, and tacos).

My drink was amazing & my corn was the best. I ate it & forgot about te photo!

Pinky's food truck open for business at The Urban League of Broward County Cultural Festival. Nice event. Nice day.

I discovered Pinky's when their food truck pulled into the lot at the Urban League of Broward County at the Cultural Festival. I ordered the 4 taco selection which offered choices of chicken, steak, chorizo or al pastor. (You can pick up to two proteins). Very good.

This was a great spot for a quick bite after a Zumba class. They had a live dj which set the vibes, we did struggle a bit to hear each other but it was ok. Our server was nice and gave recommendations on some of the menu items and yall they really have pink tacos. I tried the beef and chicken and the beef had more flavor can't wait to go back and try something different

Amazing! Oreos tres leches - Ffirrreeeeeee Torta al pastor... fueggggoooo! I thought it was going to come with all the fixings chopped up (like cilantro, onions, tomatoes, etc. ) but it didn't but the girls working there were so sweet and didn't make me feel bad for asking for it chopped up. They were more than generous, and happily brought me some chopped up on the side. ..that means & says a lot.! All my fam thought the employees were friendly and welcoming... when a restaurant is stingy with little sauces or sides or things like that it's the biggest turn off ! So hats-off to this restaurant for a great enjoyable family experience. We are a rather large family and they were more than accommodating with our last-minute Mother's Day reservation... the food is fresh and atmosphere is fun a beautiful and super cute! Oh and margaritas also fireee and shrimp tacos amazing :) ... they weren't cheap with the shrimp, and the shrimp wasn't over cooked and chewy so yeaaaaaaa they are def great cooks!!!'

Menu... Tuesday night is LIT!
Carlos D.

I came here on a Tuesday night for Taco Tuesday after my Zumba class, and let me tell you... It was poppin'! The vibes, the music, the whole atmosphere had such great energy, it honestly felt like a lit Friday night! I started off with their Strawberry Henny, and it was so good I had to order a second one. For dinner, I went with the birria ramen and two tacos--absolutely delicious! Just a heads up: the ramen does have a bit of a kick, so be ready for some heat. All in all, amazing food, good service, great drinks, and a fun vibe that makes you want to stay longer. I'll definitely be back!

Birria Nachos!
Ladon C.

The waitress convinced me to dine in, and I'm glad I did! I ordered the birria nachos, huge portion and packed with perfectly seasoned meat. The only downside was the cheese; it wasn't warm enough and formed a thick layer that made the chips hard to grab. Otherwise, super cute pink-themed restaurant, very clean, and the staff was friendly. Would definitely try again!

Veggie Birria Tacos (4 Pieces)

Last night I stumbled upon a vegan gem completely by accident. I was driving home from an event that, like so many, had no vegan options. It was late, I was starving, and finding something plant based at that hour felt impossible. Then I spotted a taco place I must have driven past thousands of times, Pinky's Tacos on Commercial Blvd. I figured I would stop in and see if they could make something vegan for me, maybe a simple bean taco or two. To my surprise, not only did they have Violife vegan cheese, but they also offered vegan birria tacos made with hibiscus flowers. I could not believe it. I have done self guided vegan food tours through Mexico and only found two places that served hibiscus flower tacos, both unforgettable. If you have never tried hibiscus flower, it absorbs flavor beautifully and has a texture that is remarkably similar to ropa vieja. It is tangy, tender, and takes on spices in the best way. The meal started with a duo of fresh salsas served with homemade tortilla chips, simple but so fresh you could taste it in every bite. Then came the tacos, four generously filled tortillas overflowing with hibiscus flowers, served with a rich, aromatic broth for dipping. The moment I dipped my first taco and took a bite, I knew I had discovered what might be the best vegan taco I have ever had. The portion was generous, four tacos plus the dipping broth for sixteen dollars, and between the chips, salsa, and tacos, I had enough left over for lunch today. They are open most nights until eleven and even have a few other vegan options on the menu, though limited. Honestly, I cannot imagine wanting anything other than this hibiscus flower taco. Pinky's also has plenty of free parking in a private lot, conveniently located near 441 and Commercial Blvd. If you are in Fort Lauderdale and think you have tried every vegan option around, think again. Pinky's Tacos is doing something special, authentic, flavorful, and completely unexpected. Pinky's Tacos 3601 W Commercial Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309

Great tacos, good service, excellent location! Pinkys tacos is my neck of the woods. The Restaurant is large with lots of seating and a beautiful bar serving up $5 margarita specials on Taco Tuesdays. The tacos are very good. I tried the birria egg rolls, shrimp tacos, and chicken birria tacos. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Shrimp tacos, it was flavorful and the Shrimp was juicy. The chicken birria was also good. The soup was flavorful and paired well with the tacos. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is open, cute, and clean. I will definitely be back!

food is amazing!. I was a little skeptical the first time I came here. lol there was no one in the restaurant and I thought it was closing. but the host said they are still open. Staff were nice and very patient when I had questions about the food. one of these days I will catch them on a lit day, in the mean time the food is a must try!

We started with the chips and salsa, which was very good. The red salsa definitely had some spice to it, but it was so flavorful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was really good with plenty of chicken and melted cheese in every bite. We ended the meal with the tres leches cake, and I'm glad we did. It was soft, creamy, and not overly sweet, which made it the perfect dessert. Really enjoyed everything and I'll definitely be back.

Native Angeleno on the East Coast…read more The happy hour margaritas were excellent--balanced, refreshing, and exactly what you hope for after a South Florida afternoon. The nachos arrived with enough confidence to challenge two healthy appetites (I'm 6'6", 250; my dining companion is 5'10", 210), and we barely made a dent. Generous portions are one thing; generous portions done well are another. Only then did the comparisons begin. I came into El Camino with the familiar Los Angeles calibration around Mexican cuisine--not superiority, just perspective. In Los Angeles, Mexican food is woven into the city's identity: Guelaguetza's mole, El Cholo's century-old traditions, Sonoratown's precision, even the old Red Onion era of Cal-Mex comfort that defined a different generation of neighborhood dining. El Camino doesn't try to recreate Los Angeles. It embraces its own South Florida rhythm, and that's precisely why it succeeds. Service was polished without ever feeling rehearsed. Nick, Dustin, and Arnav made hospitality look easy, while Alex--Wyatt Earp behind the bar--added the final flourish with expertly crafted cocktails. The atmosphere may be the restaurant's greatest strength. Lively without feeling chaotic, energetic without becoming overwhelming, it's the kind of place where conversations linger and people genuinely seem happy to be there. Different coast. Different rhythm. Same satisfaction.

We sat outside and watched people jogging up the A1A and frolicking on the beach. It's a good spot to people watch. Once we were seated, we were instructed on where the food was located, and our drink orders were taken. The worst part: There are NO scrambled eggs in a heated pan to serve yourself. That leaves you with no choice but to wait in the egg line where the chef makes your eggs for you. Boooo! What if I just wanted plain ole eggs? Or, I don't feel like waiting 30 minutes in a line to have an omelet made? It's brunch, but it really serves more of a lunch menu. It is a Mexican restaurant, so that's what you'll find. There's a make-your-own taco bar, ceviche, chips & guac, etc. But I'm a breakfast person. The waffle strips tasted store-bought (and came with syrup in a little jam container), and the mac & cheese was an afterthought. Again, probably Kraft. Luckily, once you drink enough mimosas, nothing else matters. So yeah, that's where the DJ saves the day. They also had endless margaritas, but them joints tasted TART. Those little cheesecake squares were pretty good. Otherwise, I don't think I'd come back for this brunch.

There was a large party that seemed to cause major delays, and we ended up waiting about an hour for our food. Thankfully, the drinks were strong, so we had a great time catching up while we waited. We started with the guacamole, which was incredibly fresh and addictive. I ordered the Fresh Herbs Swai, and although they were out of the coconut rice, the dish was still flavorful and delicious. We also tried the Cuban 4 Leches cake and flan, and both were pretty good. Despite the long wait, this remains one of my favorite low-key spots. Everything changed when our fajitas arrived. We ordered the Mixed Fajitas with beef steak, shrimp, and chicken. After we'd been eating for a while, my husband suddenly said the steak smelled and tasted spoiled. I realized I had noticed an odd smell when I ate a piece earlier, but I thought maybe it was just me. Then one of our friends said she thought it tasted bad too and had actually spit it out into a napkin. We immediately called the server over. He took the entire cast-iron fajita skillet back to the kitchen and said he would check with the chef. After a long wait, he came back and told us that both the chef and the prep cook insisted there was nothing wrong with the steak because it had been cut just yesterday. They claimed the "smell" was coming from the sauce. We asked them to bring us the sauce separately. We all tasted it, and the sauce had absolutely no bad smell at all. It clearly wasn't the source of the problem. Even then, they refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong with the steak, but they could remake the meat if we want. We then asked to speak with the manager. A young manager came over, we asked if any of them has tasted the beef steak left in the fajitas skillet, she said she believed us tasted and smelled it but she simply repeated the same explanation. She said they were a family-owned business that cared deeply about their reputation, so the meat had to be fresh. Her solution remained unchanged, she can bring us a remake of the meat. By that point, we had already finished most of the meal. What good would another plate do? We weren't asking for more food--we wanted them to acknowledge the issue and handle it appropriately. The ending was honestly unbelievable. They took just $6 off the entire bill, saying they had removed the cost of the steak from the fajitas. I've never experienced a resolution like that at any restaurant. The only conclusion I can come to is that this is a tourist area in Fort Lauderdale. They saw that we were visitors, figured we'd be leaving town soon, and simply didn't care about making things right because we'd probably never be back anyway. I haven't left reviews at Yelp for many years, but I'd like to share this experience. Hopefully it helps others decide whether they want to take the risk of dining here.

It's so good I've already gone two weeks in a row and I'm pretty sure it's about to become a regular thing for me. One of my favorite parts about this place is that the owners are actually the chefs in the kitchen, preparing all of the dishes themselves. They're incredibly friendly and even come out to chat with guests, which makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The barbacoa tacos are hands down my favorite. The meat is unbelievably tender literally falling apart and so juicy and flavorful. I also tried the campechano tacos (a mix of chorizo and steak) and they were sooo good. Perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. And let's talk about their chipotle salsa... I'm obsessed. I was putting it on everything on the table. It has the perfect smoky kick and just elevates every bite. The guac and chips were good, though they didn't quite stand out compared to how incredible the tacos were. We decided to risk it because we were going pretty early, 6:00. We did have to attend an 8;00 show at the Broward Center which is just 1/2 a mile away. The place was pretty empty and we had no problem getting a few tables put together. There is a very extensive menu with lots of apps, a few salads, enchiladas, fajitas, and at least 15 taco varieties. I ordered a reposado margarita, which was fabulous, for $15. For food I went with the Trio of Tacos for $18. There was one chicken taco, one carnitas taco, and one gringo beef taco. The tortillas were small; but they were piled high! They were also tasty. One friend had the Citrus Mango Shrimp Tacos, $19. She said they were very good. Two friends had the Baja Fish Tacos on our servers recommendation, $19. One friend said they were just ok because they weren't crunchy at all and she didn't care for the cilantro slaw filling, the other friend thought they were delicious and savory! Yet another friend had the chicken nachos. She didn't care for them at all because they had a cheese sauce as opposed to authentic shredded cheese. Our waiters were attentive; but we did have a little delay with one of the fish taco orders. Everyone had food except for one diner and we had to flag down a server and wait quite a while for her to finally get her meal. Everyone on the staff was friendly though, and they didn't mind giving us separate checks. If you are looking for casual Mexican dining, or just want to have a few appetizers and drinks; Bandoleros is a good option that won't break the bank!
