Having found the car I wanted (and learning a lot about those that were "close, but this doesn't really work for me), I called the dealers that were within a two hour drive of my home. They all had the car I wanted, in a color I didn't want (there were a lot of white exterior/cream interior cars on lots throughout the state), with no willingness to charge below MSRP. After I spoke to about eight dealers, I was telling a friend how I wasn't having any luck finding the car I wanted in a color I liked at a price that seemed fair.
