I'd like to share my terrible experience with Pinnacle Cleaners in Davie. I brought in a white dress shirt and it came back stained with a black dot on it. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to make things right the manager quickly disrespected me and handled the situation very unprofessionally. Even though I am a first responder in uniform, she suggested I was responsible for the stain. Customer service clearly does not matter here. I would not trust them with my clothing, especially delicates or expensive items. My husband had an old trench coat that was originally his brother's when he was in the Army and at some point when his brother got out, my husband took it from his brother and wore it everywhere throughout middle/high school. It had been sitting in a cedar chest in our garage for the last decade and my husband rediscovered it when he was cleaning. The coat held a lot of memories for my husband and he didn't want to get rid of it but it was dirty and stained after many years of wear. We brought it here in hopes that they could perform some kind of magic or at least clean it and get the funk smell out of it. We were told that the coat would be ready in 3 days. There was a note on his coat when my husband picked it up indicating that the remaining spots or stains couldn't be removed without causing damage to the color or material. Horrible! Lost an extremely expensive cashmere sweater. Damaged a silk blouse. If you give 10 items, you may only get some of them back in your first delivery. In another delivery you get more back days later. So you have to keep track if you received everything back. We have been delivered other people's clothing mixed into our order and had to tell them to pick it up. Owner is not willing to every admit or reimburse for lost or damaged items. Very expensive. Our household has been using pinnacle for 5 years. They have a membership program where they log a credit card on file and give you a bag that identifies your laundry. Our loads are always done on time and we have never had any problems. They replace missing buttons and do any alterations as well. I had 2 dresses altered and they came out perfect.Hubby has lost several shirt buttons. Our items always come back perfectly. The store lost my cashmere sweater that I just bought over Christmas. They knew they lost it, but they would not admit that they did. I went back 3 times but each time they asked me to go back again because they "still could not find it". I think they are just disrespectful and irresponsible. This place is great. They are able to get my dry cleaning back to me the next day or sometimes whenever I ask of course its gotta be a realistic time. If come in the day before at 3pm and I say I want it back by 10am the next day they can do it. They fix holes in my shirts or my husbands pants, they take care of the special items that call for special care and I've never gotten anything back discolored or ruined. Just picked up shirts and a jacket. Most of the collars were not done properly. Either wrinkled or creased improperly. I would think this would be the most noticeable part of the shirt and if there is any quality control they would've noticed that the collars were not done properly. Instead they give them back to me like that. The jacket was dry cleaned and unfortunately the same problem. The collar is wrinkled. There are also areas of the jacket that we're not pressed properly and you can see wrinkles. They will need to be redone. read more

The dress wouldn't zip up The beads on the dress were falling off And on top of all that there was a dark stain on the back! This lady was rude and could barely speak English! I tried this dry cleaner based on the one previous review. I myself won't be back. Unless you are a member of their 'Matt Club' it is cash only. I took in 2 items - was just over $41. I was advised it would be ready on Friday. I went in on the following Monday. One of my items was ready. It was clearly obvious the girl could not find my other item. She advised me 'it wasn't ready'. I asked her whether is was 'not ready' or she 'couldn't find it'. She blantantly lied. Anyway - the following afternoon I received a call my item was ready. I went the following day - it has now been 10 days!!! When I arrived again they had difficulty locating my item - I asked if there was any sort of a discount for my troubles...ie: long delay, 2 trips....The lady behind the counter clearly had no interest in anything I had to say. In fact, I dealt with 3 different woman and I would have to say the customer service on all 3 counts was kinda sad.
