Chiropractic is very individualized for what the patient needs and I felt stronger physically doing applied kinesiology vs traditional chiro with grade V manipulations. I did 27 sessions of HBOT and a number of chiro appointments at Pinnacle Wellness and highly recommend it for anyone who is dealing with chronic inflammation, fatigue, or autoimmune illness (I have all three and felt a massive difference while I was doing treatments). Rhonda and Aura are super nice and are very accommodating of my sensitive ears while putting me into HBOT and depressurizing me. I tracked my symptoms for 45 days during my treatments and overall I saw a massive change in overall pain, joint stiffness, decrease in shortness of breath, and neuro symptoms. The hyperbaric chamber is a game changer. I was suffering from a concussion I didn't even know I had. I was suffering visually, mentally, and physically. I had constant headaches, I couldn't focus, and my balance was off. Everything was going wrong and out of place. I didn't know why I was so off, but I knew I needed to get back to my middle self, which was zen and balanced. With the hyperbaric chamber, my headaches became less. I went from having a headache every day to having a minor one in the morning that didn't last long. At the end of the week, there were no more headaches. My brain was finally healing. I went from not being able to multitask or focus to being able to manage everything in a timely manner. I could appreciate the present and being active without being tired. I knew when my body just needed to rest, but not sleep. I was able to get everything I needed to get done without being stressed. I could see things more clearly. I first came to Dr. Suen a few months ago with a pinch in my back that prevented me from taking deep breathes. It hurt to fully inhale. No matter how foam rolled or stretched, I could not resolve the problem. Dr. Suen assessed and said that one rib was slightly out of place, and was able to reset it painlessly and with ease. I feel obligated to share my experience with Yelper for treatments with Pinnacle Wellness Center. (Other than sharing it on Google as well :)) I got rear-ended by another passenger vehicle at an intersection and have experienced neck and lower back pain. In searching for treatment, I visited Pinnacle Wellness Center and met Dr. Ryan Suen. His approach to treat injuries and cervical neck and spine adjustments differs greatly from those of traditional chiropractor. Previously, I experienced back pain and visited many chiropractors' office, they could not resolve the issues, I am very disappointed with traditional chiropractor office - patient have to arrive at the scheduled session on and before the exact time, and waited, and waited for maybe 15 to 30 mins. Then the chiropractor doctor will move from Bay to Bay to adjust multiple patients. Often time the Dr will come over to my Bay and say hi to me, started the adjustments, about 2 to 3 mins later, it is done, and they billed me for $75 to $100 each for a 3 mins chiropractor treatment! (Probably just two neck adjustment and done) Then the doctor will move to next Bay immediately and repeated. Because they are in a rush to generate more billable session, one time I got tinnitus after being adjusted on my neck and that last for so long. It is not a treatment, it is like a SPA service. I become very skeptical about visiting a similar clinic afterwards. Dr Suen is very different that those chiropractors I have met before. After completing some electronic questionnaires online, I got a spot with Dr Suen and discussed my concerns; he didn't rush to adjust my neck or lower back; he spent time to learn my pain, the probable cause, and he patiently explains to me what causes the pain, what's the plan for the treatment, what should I as a patient expect from the treatment plan, etc. There were no fancy jargon terms, or high-tech gimmicks and marketing tricks. He is just very professional and care about patient, my initial assessment was very thorough, and he analyzes the root of the problem by walking through with me the history and my daily activities, my diet, my sitting and standing posture, etc, he was a personal trainer as well and provides me a lot of useful advice on how to avoid potential injuries from working out and maintaining a healthy and balance life. He also helps resolve my hip joint pain by guiding me through non-invasive self healing exercise. He is in no rush to adjust and move to the next patient. I have noticed positive, and long-lasting improvement each session, and I was fully recovered from my rear-ended injuries of about 3 months. I will definitely continuously to see Dr Suen to help maintain my spinal and neck joint health. I came to Dr. Ryan. originally for a long standing shoulder problem. I had tried many other therapies before but nothing really helped that much. He utilized applied kinesiology to test all these different muscles surrounding my shoulder. Turns out less than half of the muscles were "working". He explained that when the muscles aren't working the way they are suppose to, it can mimic instability due to muscle weakness. So after he treated it using adjustments, applied kinesiology, and other soft tissue tools he retested the muscles and they all magically "worked" again. In addition to making my muscles work, the pain was completely gone!
