Pizza came out quick and was pretty tasty and a nice size for $15. Whisky pours were healthy and priced fairly. Mar21 Stopped in late afternoon because of all the positive reviews I ordered my usual Bloody Mary and my wife a glass of Pinot. Started with a Caesar salad, and our entrées were lasagna, and spaghetti marinara. I'll start with this place is a bit pricey, but in our opinion very well worth it The Caesar salad was enormous, well priced and fresh in every way and delicious. Enough to share for two. For the spaghetti, you can ask for housemade pasta, which we did. Again, well worth the extras 3 dollars. My lasagna, as well as the spaghetti came out piping hot and I can also say was maybe the best lasagna I've had in a very long time. The service was exceptional, so no complaints there. Wonderful experience for our golf crew after 36 holes. Waitress was attentive and friendly to our group of 11. Table was setup out front per our reservation in full view of the casino, perfect. We started with delicious calamari and fried olives with crusty bread dipped in oil and balsamic, the empty plates spoke for themselves! Variety of dishes ordered included steaks, veal, chicken parm and several peeps ordered the bolognese which got rave reviews from all. Washed it down with a few bottles of Vino and several of us grabbed scrumptious desserts including blueberry cheesecake and gelato and of course some sweet Frangelico to finish. We went up there as opposed to closer sites west of us because we could visit the Turning Stone casino and our favorite restaurant pretty much anywhere, which is Pino Blanco on site there. The restaurant's specialty is northern Italian and it is excellent. The menu is varied enough that everyone can find their delight. We had visited several times previously and were pleased to have been recognized by chef Richard, who was substituting during this visit. My fiancée and I came here with low expectations and we were pleasantly surprised! We got a dining credit with our hotel and decided to try Pino Bianco out. Going in, I was enamored by the walls of wine glasses and the really cool upscale minimalist light fixtures they had above all the tables. We started off with a Margarita Italiana (which my fiancée loved) and their Raspberry Noir both of which were excellent. I'm always cautious when ordering a wine topped drink but they knocked it out of the park! Word of warning though, it's surprisingly pretty sweet. For appetizers, we got the calamari fritti and the shrimp cocktail. The apps were definitely the stars of the meal. I normally hate calamari and the cocktail sauce that normally comes with shrimp, but I loved both of these. The calamari wasn't fishy, it was crisp with a very light chew and paired so well with the fried cherry peppers, roasted tomatoes and aioli. The shrimp were huge (granted, for the price and the fact that you only get 4, they should be) and dipped in the cocktail sauce, which was perfectly balanced between ketchup, horseradish and tobasco, was heaven on Earth. For our main entrees we went with lobster ravioli and chicken parmesan. I don't normally care about presentation for food, but I will say the chicken parm plate needed something extra, it just looked like a lump of chicken. Taste wise it was standard, nothing particularly stood out, but it was by no means bad. Same thing applied to the ravioli itself, but the lobster that was in the ravioli was expertly cooked and very flavorful. We finished up with an affogato and the crème brûlée. The affogato was delicious, but you definitely have to wait a good minute for the gelato to melt into the coffee. The crème brûlée was absolutely fantastic, especially with the bits of fruit. It gave this sweet, creamy dessert a nice little fresh taste. This is for sure a great choice among the restaurants at Turning Stone. read more

For the prices it was okay but nothing to brag about! I wasn't too hungry so I ordered a salad and calamari appetizer I just felt that it was a little too expensive for a small casino restaurant. My friend ordered the bolognese and the noodles had a very odd taste to them and she didn't eat it and my other friend ordered the chicken parm and it looked amazing. Bread was delicious. Tomato di pomodoro salad was excellent. Sea Bass was moist, had lots of flavor, and sides were attractive and taste. Was hands-down one of our favorite spots through the years.. even making the 1.5 drive just for dinner. Spent a few days at TS earlier this month and was looking forward to a nice meal in the cozy atmosphere. We were very VERY disappointed with the quality of the meal(s) and even more disappointed with the quality of service. Our bill was nearly half of what we usually spend because we weren't into staying any longer than needed. One of the best parts of Pino, aside from the great food and friendly service was the ambiance. Without the first two, the ambiance will never be positive. Another location you might be able to sneak into on a Friday or Saturday night when everything is filled up for reservations. They also have a bar area where you can sit if you don't have reservations and you can order and eat there. We ordered a pepperoni pizza at the bar even though it's not on the menu and it was outstanding. The crust is nice and thin, there was a perfect about cheese and the perfect amount of pepperoni. I have also dined inside numerous times. The lasagna is humongous. I also like the chicken parm here. A big thing that is disappointing is that they used to give you chunks of aged Parmesan cheese as an appetizer. They also used to bring bread sticks and a jar of spices for the olive oil ( different from what they offer now). We made a reservation using open table and were seated immediately upon arrival. The meal started with complimentary fresh bread and herb butter. The tables included the cutest olive oil and balsamic vinegar container (see picture). I had read the menu and some reviews before going and knew I wanted to try the calamari and sea bass. The calamari was cooked perfectly and included fried banana peppers which was the best accompaniment to the dish. The sea bass did not disappoint, it was a generous portion and came with seasoned potatoes and tender broccoli rabe. My husband had the chicken riggie, the sauce was exceptional and delicious, it was a little small for the portion size and didn't have a ton of chicken but the pasta and sauce were perfect and that definitely made up for the minimal chicken. Sixth star, please. My party of four was treated like absolute royalty at Turning Stone's incredible Italian restaurant. Pino Bianco is gorgeous - the entry to the eatery, steps from the casino floor and Exit 33, transports one to an outdoor cafe in Milan - cobblestone flooring, awnings to mock outdoor seating, and a friendly hostess staff greeted us and welcomed us inside where deep red velvet treatments and crimson ceilings are complimented by walls of wine glasses, goblet style Edison light bulbs, and framed Italian artwork. The open kitchen concept radiates warmth and energy, and even on a Tuesday night, this place was packed as far as social distance goes. Anne Marie was our affable, knowledgeable, and attentive server. Our entire experience was heightened by her friendly nature and engaging conversation. It is easy to tell that the entire staff at Pino Bianco is genuinely invested in their guests' satisfaction because when one passes another team member within the space, they all make eye contact and issue a warm greeting. Our bus person Gabriel was quick to refill our water and clear plates with a clear smile that was masked due to Covid but it was clearly there based on the enthusiasm Gabriel provided. Our group began with a very reasonably priced bottle of Gewurztraminer and a beer, and for appetizers, crispy and well seasoned calamari served with flavorful marinara and a pink dip that resembled an irresistible homemade Russian dressing. We also shared a Pizza Bianca - a white pie with fresh, crispy yet chewy dough topped with a blend of mozz, provolone, and ricotta, plus fresh arugula and roasted garlic. While everything we ate was amazing, this was the MVP of the meal - easily one of the best pizzas we have ever had, and we know our pizza. We shared lasagna that was fresh and filling and bubbling over with cheese, al dente linguine with clams in white sauce which was nice and by nice we mean perfect and fantasy-worthy. Broccolini was our shared side dish and provided a nice compliment to our carb-heavy meal. We opted for liquid desserts - a local ice wine from the Finger Lakes, an Irish coffee, and two Italian vermouths served in gigantic snifters, though we were extremely tempted by the look and description of the chocolate cake. Was here today to get my brother something to eat for his birthday. As I first walked in no one greeted us just all stood around with faces that looked like someone just died. It looked like just about every employee was being tormented in some way. We ordered drinks and food happily ignoring that energy. Today I flew in from hawaii and only had my Hawaii ID on me. I gave the server my ID and he said that he had to go and scan it. I waited till mine and my brothers food was already served to us and asked about my ID.... Then I just decided to go grab my passport. When I got back a gentleman came and asked me questions. I was upset so I said I was full of shit while he was asking me questions and he told me if I didn't settle down I was going to have to leave. I walked away while he said it so I actually didn't hear that because I didn't think that was a crazy thing to say. While I was away grabbing my ID my younger brother got served his beer almost immediately and was questioning about my ID. I just wanna know why didn't you just ask me for a second form of ID. Their explanation was that my ID wasn't scanning soooo I decided to walk the area and ask for help to scan my id. In reality their scanner is broken and they just decided not to ask me for a second form of ID. The waiter told me that he has been working there for 11 years but I guess he's never thought to ask for a second id. Very shocking. Tonight I ordered the lobster ravioli (super delicious) and she ordered fillet mignon, which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
