Affogato was so delicious with cold brew gelato
    Nazia K.

Affogato with cold brew was refreshing, the espresso was really good. Also had a scoop of pistachio gelato, it was good but had an artificial flavor taste, the color was a darker green, which also made me think there were some artificial additives. Overall for the price, it was ok, but a bit pricey for the flavor.

When it's hot and you been shopping all day. Stop by here to cool down with some gelato. They also have other options like coffee and pastries but you're honestly reading this review to know about the gelato right? The gelato has a lot of flavors, I only tried a handful of the times I've visited. The texture is thick and chewy but not is bad way. Gelato should feel like you're eating a more rich and savory version of ice cream. This place does the job well. Not making this one too long but it's definitely worth checking out when you're in Destin. My Recommendations: -Banana Gelato with the Waffle Cone

I'd love to give this place a little more in the way of the star rating, but there's nothing like spending the money on a so so cup of gelato and having someone come out to clean/sweep the floor all around you just as you sit down to "enjoy" the melting gelato. All the while he was yelling over the broom to his colleagues back behind the counter. Then he pulls out the Fabulouso and Clorox to fragrance the tables, restrooms (doors left open). Then to top that off, he gives (us the customers) a uncool look for not yet tossing our trash while he takes it from the table to throw it out. My god people, we spent $18 on average gelatos and a bottle of water. Oh my. VaKay horrah!

What qualities do i like in food establishments? Outside of healthy food inspection ratings... I they must have the unexpected and/or authentic. I, unexpectedly, had THE BEST mango gelato that I can remember--from anywhere-- just a few weeks ago at Pino Gelato. The. Best. The blood orange was great as well...but I'll be thinking about the mango until I come back in a few weeks. Other than that, hey... it's a gelato shop in an outlet strip mall in the almost-Alabama part of Florida. But then again, holy it was great gelato. The end.

Perfect post beach treat! I had a small with two flavors: limoncello and raspberry. I was surprised by my cute little cone and even more surprised by the whole raspberries that were throughout. It was so fresh and not overly sweet. It hits the spot!

This review is strictly about gelato because that's all I've ever had here. They have quite a number of flavors (more than 15) and the coolers are at a perfect temperature. The gelato is stuff enough to hold shape but soft enough to eat immediately when a plastic spoon. The scoops appear small but the gelato is dense enough that they feel huge. I love flavors like salted caramel, mango, and vanilla bean. They don't let you sample an unlimited amount. I'm not sure exactly how many you can try but I usually find what I'm looking for within a few spoons as this is a must when I'm in Destin. The shop is in the Silver Sands Premium Outlets and it's on a corner. There is plenty of parking so don't worry about that. This Cafe is sometimes crowded but it never takes long. The cafe itself is small inside and they sell a few other items like pastries, sandwiches, beverages and to go items. Different from other gelato shops, you get a mini cone stuck into your gelato scoop. Prices are normal for the area.

I'm so glad I found this place! It was really easy to find and had plenty of parking. The coffee shop is on the second floor, and you can either take the elevator or go up the spiral staircase. Inside, it's beautiful, spacious, and just has a really relaxing atmosphere. There's also a wraparound porch with outdoor seating. It doesn't necessarily overlook anything exciting, but it was still such a peaceful place to sit, and I could definitely see myself bringing my laptop and working here for a few hours. The staff was SO friendly every time I went. On Thursday morning there was a pretty long line, but they had several people working behind the counter and moved through it incredibly fast. Our drinks came out quickly too. I ordered iced lattes and really enjoyed them, but THE CROISSANT. I am a croissant person, and this was genuinely one of the best croissants I've ever had. Thick, buttery, soft, delicious bread and not even remotely dry. My kids loved them too, and I appreciated that each one came packaged in its own little container instead of just being thrown into a bag. They were also playing worship music every time I was there -- Abbie Gamboa and SEU and several artists I already love which made me enjoy the atmosphere even more. I also noticed when ordering at the tablet that they give you an option to donate to a local family in need, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. Great coffee, ridiculously good croissants, kind staff, quick service, lots of space and a really welcoming atmosphere. Causeway was easily one of my favorite finds of the trip, and I will absolutely be back when I am in the area this November!

As expected, the doughnuts were delicious. They were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we've come to love from Parlor. The coffee was decent, although not quite as good as we've had at other locations. We were also a little disappointed that this location had a more limited breakfast menu than Jacksonville. The shop itself was clean and had the same fun, modern atmosphere that makes Parlor such a unique place to visit. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. The staff didn't seem very welcoming, and the interactions felt rushed. Since not all of the doughnut flavors were visible, we asked if a specific one was available, and it felt like our question was more of an inconvenience than anything else. We also noticed similar interactions with other customers while we were there. Our coffee order wasn't prepared quite right either, and the overall experience just didn't have the friendly, upbeat atmosphere we've come to expect from Parlor. We'll definitely continue visiting Parlor Doughnuts because the food is consistently excellent, but this particular location didn't leave the same impression that Jacksonville has. We're hoping we just caught them on an off day.

Gotta love local!!!…read more Got some pizza here on a week day during our Fl summer vaca b/c we were looking for something locally owened. Got the hawaiian, pepperoni and cheesy bread. All super good! Crust was a thin crust, not too paper thin though, so a nice in between of thin and regular. The cheesy bread was SOOOO good! The cheese on the bread was nice and thick and gooey! A+++ on the cheese bread in my opinion. Great helping of cheese. So if you just want cheesy bread that's light or mid on the cheese I would recommend clarifying your preference b/c they're serious about the CHEESE part of the bread! Called ahead to see what the busiest times are and typical wait times, b/c wasn't sure if we should order assuming longer wait times or if we should wait to order until closer to being ready to be hungry enough for everyone to eat. Called and the gal on the phone was SOOO nice and friendly, advised week day order before 5pm and will be ready within 30 mins. Advised we'll order before 5 and will probably put order online and she asked for my name and advised she'll keep an eye for my name to come through, which I thought was just an extra step of nice courtesy that I wasn't expecting and just thought that was so thoughtful! Was about $90 for two big pizzas and the cheesy bread, but SO worth it. The pizzas were also BIG! So was very happy with the portion sizes. Happy to spend this money for the quality and supporting local owned establishments that put out quality product! I would recommend purchasing here over other franchised chains.
