Both the girl at the counter and the kid in the back making the pizzas were rude and said it was no big deal. In fact, the kid making the pizzas had the nerve to say to my " attention to detail ". I said well can you make me my pizzas? He said yes... 10 minutes. I have never had a pizza done in 10 minutes in my life. Long story short the service there sucks. F minus. Don't waste your money. Pizza was meh. Didn't taste like much. Garlic bread had zero garlic flavor & was overly seasoned with Italian seasoning. Chicken parm was a joke. Container 90% filled with spaghetti & the chicken was not chicken parm. It was thinly sliced chicken breast with melted cheese covering it. No breading. My daughter said it was disgusting and refused to eat it. Won't be coming here again. I hate to give bad reviews to small businesses but Pinocchio needs a lot of improvement. read more

Pinocchios' pizza is SUPERB. Their salads and pasta are EXCELLENT. And their crabmeat salad (in a pocket with pickles)? Quite possibly my favorite sandwich ever. PLUS, Steve is a true mensch--simply the best. I cannot recommend Pinocchios in Centerville highly enough. read more

I have ordered from here several times. Each time it's just been okay. I am not sure what the hype is. I just ordered an Italian sub to see what the grinders were like. I should've just gone to Subway. Same exact portion of meat. The 8" sub roll bread here is better but not much else. Totally not impressed with this place. A superb and quick lunch from this great old school pizza spot. Took the order immediately and made it perfectly. We said immediately we would be back. The food is only ok and its definitely gone down hill over the last year. The service is terrible. They really only care about their regular customers and don't care about the customers experience. The cartoon hanging on the wall where the manager asks the customer complaining if the chef should be shot has always been cringey but I'm finding it especially irritating now that I'm waiting 15 more mins for a pizza that I ordered 20 mins ago and was told 15 for. The place is dead they clearly just forgot my order. No apology or even acknowledgment for it. Also they never have a delivery driver anymore I have stopped asking. Don't offer it year round if you can only handle it in the summer. Why can't cape cod just have 1 decent pizza place?!? read more

My client wanted a late lunch early dinner and was craving pizza. She recommend Pinocchio. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. I asked for no cheese no peppers and no onions. It came with all 3. The man said I never specified my request but offered to make a new one. Due to time, I scraped off the 3 ingredients and settled with the salad. First impression....I was expecting somewhat friendly counter service. Nope. As a Centerville resident I expressed that I have lived here for 16 years and my first time trying Pinocchios. Response was "We've been here for 30 years.". Now that was a surprise to me. Ordered a cheese steak and onion sub hoping it was equal or better to D'angelo's since it has been closed down. Not even close. Chewy over seasoned dry steak with hardly any cheese and few wisps of onion. Awful!! read more

If you're from Boston, you'll recognize a place like this as your classic Greek corner sub shop/pizzeria. They are great. Reasonable prices, nice portions, good food, nice people. My one pet peeve? Wanted to try to find good pizza on the Cape. This place has surprisingly good pizza compared to most other places. I ordered a large sausage and bacon pizza and the toppings tasted fresh. The reason the rating isn't 5 stars is because the pizza was small for a large and it took nearly 30 minutes even though there was only one other person waiting for their food. read more

I want to give these guys some serious props from a transpanted New Englander who has spent 4 years in Northern California. Trust me, they don't do "Italian Subs" out on the left coast. What passes for one is pretty lame. I spent a couple months on the Cape summer/fall of 2017 taking care of my folks and I was ordering out from Pinocchio's 2-3 days a week. Their toasted Italians with "everything" are to die for. Well, luck would have it we are moving back to Barnstable and I am looking forward to Pinocchio's for my sub fix. read more

The pizza was good, but overpriced, in my opinion The website said $11.50 for a large with one topping. It ended up being about $13.60 before tax and tip. And it was much smaller than any large pizza I've ever had...more like what would be considered maybe a medium at most pizza places. But like I said, it was hot and tasty. My husband says it is more Greek style rather than Italian (firmer, more oily crust). But still yummy. read more
