Stopped on a whim with three kids (9, 11, and 14 years old) on our way from the beach back to Falmouth. We sported post-beach attire, but nobody blinked as this is a takeout establishment save for the small patio pit back with two wrought iron tables. There were 3 people standing in the small interior when we entered, all awaiting their orders. After spending too long considering the menu, we ordered a large megalodon, small nurse shark, and two make-your-own pizzas (pepperoni & bacon, plain cheese.) The cashier was appropriately patient while we deliberated our optAll were delicious--crispy-on-the-outside-but-chewy crust that wasn't too thick or overwhelmingly bread-y. We don't like too much sauce, especially when it burns the roof of your mouth. Fortunately, there wasn't too much on these pies. Our buzzer beeped when our order was ready (we played two rounds of hangman, but I didn't keep track of time...), and our pies came out hot. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat on the patio, taking 5 of the 6 available chairs. (Apologies to the couple who came afterwards only to discover they had nowhere to sit.) Even though the megalodon was all meat, it wasn't too salty. Each type of meat preserved its flavor while tasting delicious all together. The nurse shark had a good amount of each vegetable on it. They were lightly cooked, with the broccoli still a bit crunchy on the outside, which I like. If you prefer vegetables well done on your pizza, you might want to try another kind here. The made-to-order pizzas were tasty, as well. On another note, the Pizza Shark black cherry soda was also a delightful experience: lightly carbonated, not too sweet, and not overly-flavored. Overall, this was a terrific find for us. "A" for: - great crust, - nice ratio of crust:sauce:toppings, - tasty combinations, and - not greasy at all. Pizza slices were that old school flavor with a very tasty crust. We only sampled the pepperoni, cheese and white pizza with tomatoes and cheese. That was enough to seal the deal! Pizza Shark has the best slices in Chatham. Love that they restored this old theater and added the pizza (there's other stuff on the menu too) so you can have a slice and watch a flick. Very disappointed in my visit to pizza Shark. Went for lunch with a friend, we each ordered two slices and a drink. The bill was almost $30. They literally charge five dollars a slice for pizza. Had I known that I probably would have whole pizza and got twice as much food, however, the pizza itself was pretty bad so I would've had to eat twice as much of their lousy pizza. Myself and a coworker stopped in to Dennis location for lunch while working in the area. Tried a couple different specialty pizzas and they were awesome! We both agreed that they could possibly be the best pizzas we've had. The dough was thin and crispy. Pizzas looked like artwork. Staff was friendly and we only waited about 15 minutes. First try at this establishment which was very difficult to find. There's a sign in 6A but trying to actually find the building isn't easy as it has no sign facing the parking lot. Ordered a large half ground beef, half pepperoni. Wait time was to be 15 to 20 minutes and you're given a device that will buzz you in case you want to wait in the car, there's no inside/outside seating this is takeout only. They also offer candy, chips, and drinks as well. Waited about 15 minutes till our pizza was ready. Smelled good on the drive home. Opened the box and found the toppings to be sparse and the cheese wasn't what you normally see where it's melted and gooey. It's hard to describe how this cheese was, thin and sparse is the best way I guess and that's not even it either. Pepperoni and beef was sparse as well. Crust was nice and thin that would make you think it would be nice and tender but in this case it was tough and chewy. Not what you'd call appetizing. Sauce quantity was okay but nothing special either. Overall probably not the best pizza we've had in a long time. Price wasn't bad but the quality was really lacking. There won't be a return trip based on this visit as I wouldn't want to spend the money to be disappointed again. read more

My first order here and I was pleasantly surprised when opening the box at home. I ordered and paid online which was easy to do. The pizza looked beautiful. Frankly, it was one of the nicest looking pizzas I'd seen in awhile. It had expected amounts of sauce, cheese, but the toppings were generous. The pie had no flavor including the meatballs, dough and sauce. Stunningly flavorless. The meatballs were watery as if previously frozen. The total cost was $23.54 with 3 added toppings. I can not say enough good about the Pizza Shark! Luckily for me they opened up their 3rd location in Dennis Village right down the road from me. I like to grab takeout on Wednesday or Thursday nights on my way home from work. Which I did tonight. I had a minor inconvenience with my order, no big deal! But wanted to let the owners know, Privately. No need to blast them on Facebook for such a minor thing like the placement of the sign due to town ordinances sent an email just letting them know my pie was a little off tonight. I received an email back right away with an apology and a gift card( totally unnecessary, but of course appreciated) This is a local establishment run by capecodders who genuinely care about what they do! They just opened and we are glad they make a good pizza. Very fast friendly and most important the pizza was tasty. They claim they have a special cheese blend, we agree. Crust was well cooked and traveled well (takeout). One thing I appreciate is half toppings are half price. So you can get your side the way you want without compromising or paying for many toppings and needing only half of some of them. Worth a try to support the new owners in this location. We will miss Showtime - great people and wish them well. At least we all can still get a good pizza on 6a in Dennis. read more
