There's plenty of parking since it's located in a small strip mall, which makes pickup easy. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but honestly, the food was worth it. Service and food were great. We got the food to go. The salad was fresh and especially good. The pizza was liked by all and we ordered way too much as the pizzas are large. We will return. This restaurant also gives a military discount so those from base should definitely try them out. read more

I tried Brooklyn Heights for lunch yesterday because I was excited to see some vegan items listed on the menu and wow it was delicious! I got the vegan antipasto salad (chickpeas, tomato, banana peppers, red onions, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, peppers, romaine, basil and herb oil) and the Atlantic Ave vegan bomb sub (LTO, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, cilantro-garlic fries, banana peppers, vegan cheese, pepper-jalapeno and cilantro sauces). The salad was heaped with fresh ingredients, I just wish it came with more dressing (maybe some more vinegar with the herb oil?). The sub was amazing - super messy and difficult to figure out how to eat but loaded with flavor and they certainly didn't skimp on any of the components! I ate most of the garlic herb fries straight off the top and they were some of my favorite fries I've ever tried, the garlic really packs a punch! I definitely recommend eating in if you order the sub because it starts losing structural integrity almost immediately and you don't want to take home a soggy sandwich. The staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my messy meal. Tried this place just tonight, and I'm so glad I did. I got a gyro and a slice of pepperoni pizza, and my teenager got a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza is outstanding. Super thin crust with just the right amount of flop. Good cheese/sauce ratio. The pepperonis were very tasty -- and they did not just put a bunch of pepperonis on a cheese slice like some places do. They reheated the slices, which gave them a little extra crisp. My kid so enjoyed her slice that she ordered a second one. But let's talk about the gyro. It was a Greek-American style gyro, but not your standard sub shop gyro. Thing was huge. Big slabs of delicious meat. The cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes all super fresh. The tzatziki sauce was ample and the flavor spot on. The fries were hot and very crispy. Easily the best Greek-American style gyro I've had in years. I believe I used most of their paper napkin supply. I should probably go back and apologize for that. The service was great! Everyone was super friendly. The gentleman making the pizzas (the owner?) checked in on us to make sure everything was good, which was appreciated. This was my first time ordering food from Brooklyn Heights Eatery and it will be the last. There are few things to regret in life but this decision has made that short list. The Philly Cheesesteak was so salty it was inedible and the quality of ingredients was "not good". There was a stripe of grease that went through the wax paper and the paper bag the sandwich was wrapped in. The cheese pizza was below average. You can get a far better plain cheese pizza at Barnstable Market and pay 18% less. We also got two of their specialty pizzas and they were loaded with cheap tasting ingredients. Just awful. Look, I grew up in Philadelphia. Obviously I know what a good Philly Cheesesteak is and I had access to great NY style pizza which my family and I ate frequently. This was very far from that. Everyone in the group I shared this "not good" food with agreed that the food should go in the trash and we should chalk it up to experience and find something else to eat. Honestly, it would have been better if we just threw the money in the trash because it would have saved us the time and the gas money to pick up the "not good" food. The girl who greeted me when I went to pick up the food was nice so this review does not reflect on the staff at all. I believe they have the tastiest pies in town but this is more about their customer service. I ordered a pizza online for delivery and apparently there was a glitch in their POS system billing my card twice. I called and apparently talked to the owner. Not only did he take the information to contact the POS, but sent me a free pizza. When the driver arrived, he absolutely wouldn't accept a tip. Please go out of your way to try this place. It's small, so you'll likely drive right by it--New York style pizza with fantastic ideas like the Hot Honey Hawaiian pizza or the Buffalo Chicken. We're a picky bunch but these were an easy WIN and I'll be back without a doubt. $20 and the 18" is $25 which is a great value for what you're getting. Very yummy food and outstandingly nice service! My daughter found out she is celiac a few months ago and that was the best food she has had since diagnosis. Carlos has hit it out of the park. My wife has celiac and the gluten free crust is the best we ever had. I also tried the regular pizza and it was outstanding. I just left this business, I ordered at 540 was told 20 minutes, was ready at 620, twice the wait time I was told, and it was not that busy, I understand that shit happens but the young kid handed me my order and never apologized, even after I was visibly upset, he just handed me my order and that was it. their pizza is good, better than the longtime places in its vicinity. we will definitely return for the pizza. we also tried their sandwiches. that's a big NO the bread was old and dry to the point where it fell apart as I was eating the sandwich. they didn't pack it with contents either, skimpy. for a $13 sandwich it should have something in it. I can buy a sandwich at market basket for half the price and be loaded with contents. so if it's pizza your after, I give it a thumbs up, but definitely not sandwiches, I hoped for a new place to get a decent sandwich in town. these owners of places selling sandwiches here should take a ride to Marzillis bakery in Fall River and order a large sub, they are 2 feet plus long, no exaggeration, always bread made that day.
