I have only heard good things about pino's. So when I was in the area I stopped by to order a sub. The deli was really busy but the employees were super efficient and friendly. They offer small, medium and large subs. Hot and cold offerings of food from pasta salad to lasagna and on. They have a cold cut counter. They have dessert options to round out the meal. Honestly it was pretty overwhelming all they had to offer which is awesome. I can see myself coming back because they have so much variety that there is something for everyone. I opted for a medium ham sub. The sub was pretty big. I can't imagine the size of the large. The employees were super friendly. The deli is abiding by all covid precautions. read more

Hadn't realized that I've never done a review of THE BEST deli in Greece (and possibly all of Rochester). Greece is blessed with many high quality delis, and to say Pinos is the best of them, is saying a LOT. The subs are $10, and HUGE. Depending on your appetite, these big boys are always 2-4 meals. Pinos uses Boars Head meats, which are delicious. They also have $10 dinner meals where you get an entree and two sides, which is another phenomenal deal, and I've never had a bad meal from this joint. The staff is always friendly, and their ticketing system makes everything organized, and gets you in and out with efficiency. I tried some of their pre-made italian food like meatballs and eggplant rolls. I'm pretty picky, since I'm Italian. I really enjoyed the eggplant rolls which were hearty flavorful, and soft but still with some nice texture. The meatballs were definitely good and the sauce tasty. They were huge and I think they would have been really great in a meatball sub or sandwich or on pasta. Eating them by themselves was good, but I wasn't completely blown away, especially considering the price. But service was as fast as it could have been. The fresh italian bread and cookies looked absolutely amazing and I am dying to try one of their famous subs. I couldn't believe how extensive their deli selections were. I cannot tell you how much I miss Pino's. I used to live in Rochester and this place was a stop for me at least once a week. Now, back in Buffalo it's become a treat and one I don't dare miss. They make some seriously awesome sandwiches here and their homemade Italian specialties are not to be missed either. I've never not loved something I've eaten and their cookies and deli meats are spot on as well. Pricing wise, you can't beat the size of their sandwiches and the loads of toppings you can get. They make their own white bread homemade and it's well worth getting. I love their chicken salad subs and their homemade arancini with house sauce. I'm feeling hungry just thinking about it!
