    Fried ravioli with marinara.

I've never been a huge subscriber in the belief that dives really did have the best food (aside from pulled pork bbq) but this place is amazing. It's located beside a Pizza Hut and tacked onto a Shell gas station. I've actually not had their pizza, but their Italian is better than what you'll get at 'another popular Italian joint' located just down the road. My wife had the baked spaghetti and I got the stuffed shells. Both came out of the kitchen piping hot, but not overcooked. The garlic knots were fantastic. I probably could have just eaten those as a meal. Both my wife and I walked away with leftovers for just $13... can't beat that. The exterior of this place is deceptive. It's tacked onto a gas station, but the interior could be any stand alone Italian restaurant. The owners and staff did an amazing job transforming this place from a 'dive' to a legitimate restaurant. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during rush-times. Don't park at the Pizza Hut or they'll actually chase you down to yell at you (they did to us and some friends of ours, anyway). There are spots located in front, on the side, and in the rear of the business. Some signage might be useful for the owners to look into.

Went here a few weeks ago! They made me a buffalo chicken pizza as well as a supreme pizza! It was fantastic! The food was just great. I will be going again very soon and look forward to having more great food.

    After attacked, delicious lasagna!

I stopped at the attached gas station when I saw this place. I was apprehensive given the outside appearance, and I'm so glad I checked the yelp reviews and went in. Looks nicer inside than it appears on the outside. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I had a hard time choosing what to get, given the delish looking choices. I asked the server to help me choose bw the lasagna and chicken parmigana sub. She said the lasagna was very popular and confirmed for me that it contained only beef (no pork). He went with the small cheese pizza and she advised that pizza took a bit more time. The lasagna was served w 3 garlic knots and was so yummy!!! His small pizza was the biggest small pizza I've ever seen! I included a pic. It was $7.50 and could have easily fed us both! We will surely return here when we next drive through. I highly recommend! Be advised that the pizza did take a bit of time before it came out. He says it was the best pizza he's had in a while with a perfect crust n plenty of mozzarella.

My hubby's leftovers: personal size strombolli.he at 1/3 & it still fills a med size pizza box! Yes, it is as good as it looks.

Make sure to read the full description of each menu item as the short title doesn't do it justice. I ordered a braised short rib with risotto dish, which was amazing! But the short title was just "risotto", which I would have quickly dismissed without my friend mentioning the short rib in the description. We started with the calamari an appetizer. It had a nice crispy breading. They had deep fried jalapeños with it, which paired nicely with the calamari. Never had it like this before. The dish came out with a very generous portion of risotto and a large short rib on top. The rib was so tender that it fell right off the bone and you didn't need a knife to cut it up. So flavorful! The risotto was well flavored and have a nice creaminess to it. I could have shared this plate as it was very rich and filling. Service was admittedly slow, but I attribute that to our large group on a Wednesday evening.

It's a small restaurant in a shopping center very nicely decorated. My server Elmer greeted me right away with water and a menu. He explained that everything is homemade, even the desserts. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety across the board. I looked at the specials first l, I wish my wife had been with me because the salad special sounded great and we usually split one. The entrée specials also sounded really good. I was already thinking to myself I'd probably be back if this meal was solid. I usually order chicken parm when I go out for Italian, but I wanted to switch it up, so I went with the lasagna. Elmer told me I'd enjoy it and said the noodles and sauce were very good. Someone brought out bread with a garlic and oil mix. The bread was excellent crunchy outside, soft inside. The garlic and oil was good, but I'm more of a butter guy. I like a lot of butter on my bread, especially bread like that. When the lasagna came out, it looked amazing. The person who brought it asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese. I said no thanks I don't like changing the flavor unless I taste it first and feel like it needs it. First bite.....Excellent. The sauce had a lot of flavor, the noodles were tender, and there were a lot of layers had to be six or seven. Not like some places where you get three or four and mostly cheese. I ate the whole thing and used the bread to clean the plate. Elmer and the other servers kept checking in to see if I needed anything. I like seeing that kind of teamwork where everyone helps out, not just their own tables. Makes for a better experience and you're never waiting around if you need something. When I finished, Elmer asked if I wanted some of the "apple cobber." Funny thing -- when I first looked at the dessert menu, I noticed that typo and wondered if that was really the name. I asked him about it and he said it was a mistake and hadn't even noticed. I was surprised no one caught it before. I asked for the cobbler to go, but he actually recommended the tiramisu instead, so I took his suggestion. Later that evening I tried it and it was superb. Even my wife, who doesn't like coffee, liked the bite I gave her. While we were talking, Elmer gave me a sample of their espresso martini. I'm not big on cold coffee drinks, but it was actually pretty good. Definitely something I'd order there. Overall, one of the best Italian meals and service I've had and I'll definitely be back. I just wish it was closer to home if they opened up in Prince Frederick in Calvert County, I think they'd do great. Right now all we really have is Ledos Pizza

It's consistently tasty and well-seasoned, though a few times there were a few scales left on the skin. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. The vegetable side dishes tasted very fresh and complemented the meal nicely. And surprisingly, the mushroom risotto was actually really good, coming from someone who isn't usually a fan of mushrooms. Our son is a fan of noodles and enjoys the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. We've had the food delivered or we picked it up.
