I went for takeout last night at Pino's Pizza. Small business pizza place in Silverdale, PA. Outdoor seating but not indoors. I tried a slice of their pizza and it was good. My slice was NY Style but Pino's has many varieties such as Chicago style, Grandma's, thin crusted. Sauce was sweet. I ordered an Italian hoagie. It was good. Not the best but good. Cost was $16. I did not get a drink. I like frequently visiting small businesses. Take credit cards. Limited parking. Friendly. I will order from here again. Think takeout when you come here. Pino's has been our go to pizza place for years as we have always enjoyed their food. After a recent delivery experience, we will never order from them again. Despite a request as noted on the receipt, we requested that it be left outside because it sometimes takes us a while to get to the door, the driver pounded at our door. Upon opening it, this big large scary guy started screaming at me that there was no tip noted on the receipt. I tried to explain to him that I always leave a tip when ordering and I was willing to fix the mix-up. He just kept screaming at me. Little did this idiot know that I often add additional cash tip if the service is good. Afterall, that is what a tip is meant for!!! I have had no luck contacting the owner to let him know the reflection that this man made to me and likely others regarding Pino's. The first couple of times we ordered from pinos, we got regular cheese pizza. It was ok not amazing but another time we got the honey mustard chicken pizza and three cheese pizza we were blown away how good it is! Pinos has slowly become our new go to take out spot! Got 4 slices of plain pizza from Pino's for lunch. I am truly and honestly grossed out. I've been to many pizza places in the surrounding area and this tops for one of the worst experiences. The slices were a great size but that is the only positive thing I can say. The pizza was burnt, but not crispy at all (actually, a disgusting amount of doughy). If you held the slice up the grease was dripping off in queasy amounts. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about this pizza. Needless to say I will not be returning. Pino's is our go to pizza place. It's a hidden gem of Silverdale/Sellersville PA. The owner Steve always says hi to me when I pick up a to-go order. We also get delivery which is also great because we live a town away and it's so convenient & fast. Their pizza is amazing, we usually order the marinara with fresh mozzarella & basil, well done or a Sicilian pie. My son loves their garlic knots. The eggplant parmesania platter comes with garlic bread and a size garden salad and is enough for 2 people. They offer a variety of crusts and sizes, the pizza is our favorite. We used to go to another area pizzeria, but no more after eating food from Pino's and we have been loyal customers ever since. I was recently in the hospital ad on the way home from my stay at the hospital I told my husband I want a steak sandwich from Pino's. Oh my gosh, it was so good. It lasted me three days. The pizzas are outstanding. Everything is fresh. My husband ordered a whole pizza just for himself. You can refrigerate it, freeze it and heat it slowly in a non stick frying pan and it's still delicious. Yummer!!! read more

Just moved into the area from Jersey, and have yet to find great pizza. I got wings and a plain pie from Pino's.... the mild wings were very good and I would definitely get them again. The pizza was just ok. The sauce was tasty but the crust was too chewy for my taste. I prefer a crisp thin crust (if anyone has a recommendation, please let me know!!). Stopped by last night for a Medium ...Full of tender steak, the roll was perfect [a critical component!] and the Medium feeds a very hungry guy quite well. We've ordered here on and off over the years. Every time it's sub-par and we always forget and try them again. Let's start with delivery. We live in a fairly desolated area yet there are roughly a dozen places who will deliver food. For some reason, Pinos always take at least an hour and at least more than once over 90 minutes. Their pizza is always burned. Seriously. Not like the occasional pie you get that was left in the oven a minute too long. I'm talking parts of the crust bottom were seriously black. The crust is hard as a rock. The cheese is skimpy, and there is way too much dried basil and oregano in their sauce and it still manages to show up to our doorstep cold. The fries are soggy. The salad lettuce is wilted. The hoagie rolls aren't very fresh. The cheesesteak meat is over cooked, and I'm not quite sure how you can screw up hot wings that have two basic ingredients, but they've figured it out. Hopefully after writing this it will remind me how much we dislike their food. read more

I was a loyal customer for the better part of 15+ years. We ordered two or three times a week. And for most of that time they were good. But over the past 5 years, they've just become more and more mediocre in both service and taste and quality. I used to joke we were putting the employees kids through college we ordered from them so much! Sadly they've declined to a point where it's just not worth the time or money. The delivery is often late and cold. They've lost entire orders. If you pay by credit card over the phone they can't understand you and you have to repeat yourself 3 times.
