They have all kinds of pizza on their menu you can't get anywhere else in the Denver area. Eggplant parm was super flavorful and delicious, but the cut of the eggplant itself was not was I was used to- it's huge! A thick slice of it. Hidden jewel that's been around nearly 20 years for a reason. The mussels absolutely stole the show - incredible sauce with garlic bread that had me dipping long after the mussels were gone. Easily the best part of the meal. Super considerate waiter too, Corey was always one step ahead thinking about what we needed before we even asked. Repeat! Sunday afternoon, was able get a seat right away. Our server Gabriela came over and took the drink order within few minutes. Awesome pricing on pint of Peroni @ $5.50. We have plenty of Italian restaurants serving Peroni drought in Denver but hard to find in Italy. The small salad was packed with two different types of olives, generous amount of feta. Very refreshing for a hot day! Must repeat for next time. Shrimp fettuccine was also delicious. Huge shrimps too. Also a repeat for Caprese salad. There were 3 of us in our party. The bruschetta appetizer was some of the best I have tasted. The calamari was flavorful and tender. Our entrees were very good. This was my second time there and on both occasions the food was very good and I am picky. However the service left something to be desired. We sat down, gave the waiter our drink order and asked for water. Took a long time to get either. Never got the salad we ordered or an additional drink. When the food came, it was auctioned off. Clean Ambiance, good food, moderate service. The food was really tasty. The calzone was really good, it felt like the best value at the table and was a table favorite for us. The meatballs were well seasoned and juicy, the lasagna was robust and full of flavor. The chicken felt a little soggy and underwhelming, but had good flavor. The server was VERY attentive up front. But after we had gotten our order in, we sat with empty glasses for about 10 minutes without seeing them again. From order in to food on table was about 35 minutes. To be fair, it was a busy night, but it's not a large place. Time wise, everything felt slightly slower than I would have expected. In general, it was a good experience. I would go back again for the calzone alone. It was really good. However, nothing at the table was bad, and we all walked away satisfied. Prices were about what I would expect from this level of experience. But the calzone was the best value. read more

What's amazing about this place? Uhhhhh Everything! We love this place! The staff is super friendly and Lindsay is our favorite! Makes you feel like you are in her home being served as her guest! Sometimes we just come here just to see her! Ownership is new and they are doing a fantastic job with the menu and wine selection. We always get the Calamari...it's crispy and an amazing appetizer before dinner! Food is always consistent and the open restaurant to the kitchen is a nice feature. Stumbled upon this place on accident a week ago and I'm already back for more. EVERYTHING is made in house, pasta from scratch was made right in front of us last time. The bread and pizza dough is also clearly made here in house. The wine selection is fantastic and the service was outstanding both times. We had Chris as our server this time and he was terrific. He was clearly running the whole restaurant himself, serving and bartending, during a busy Saturday lunch rush, and he did so with a smile on his face. Fabulous server. I had the special, linguini pomodoro, and it was delicious! We also had the calamari last time and even my four yr old loved that! My mom had the ravioli de zucca which was absolutely decadent. I have always loved this place and have eaten there many, many times. Normally I'd give this place 4-5 stars! My favorite dish was the Cannelloni Bolognese. But last night when we were there, not only was the bartender (who was also our server) snarky with us, but the cannelloni had hardly any meat in it, and the meat is what makes it so good. This time the filling was 90% cheese with a very tiny amount of Bolognese (usually it is all meat sauce inside) and overcooked. When we asked the bartender to provide us with separate checks but split the cost of the appetizer we shared, he commented that he had never done that before but that he would "try" to do that for us and then asked if he should also split the cost of the one small extra piece of bread we had asked for as well. When we got up to leave, he again mentioned how he split the cost of the bread for us, which he charged us a dollar for. He apparently thought we were being petty, but he was being sarcastically rude. Due to the bartender's demeanor, it was not the best experience like it usually is. We have never been treated like that at Pino's before. read more

I am in love with this place. The dough on the pizza is alway thick and tender. The ingredients are very good quality. Be sure to stop in for happy hour from 3-6 during the week. Wow, great find! Great food and they were happy to seat us at 9 pm. (Just left another restaurant whose kitchen closed before we got there, at 8:30). My friend & I shared the small cheesy bread. My husband and I love Pino's and have been many times with family and friends or for a date night. Tonight we ordered takeout, which we have often done as well. My husband ordered carbonara which is one of his favorites. It's horrible. It's dry and the pasta is stuck together. There is little flavor. It tastes like leftovers from the day before. We are shocked since we have had many wonderful dinners here before, both as takeout and inside the restaurant. Such a bummer to spend $20 on one entree and be so disappointed. What's going on here? The food was good. Chicken Parm with spaghetti. I ate my whole meal without water as the sever ( only one) had three tables and never checked on me during the meal. I asked for bread and was charged $1 for each piece of bread. Just to be clear I came at 1 pm for lunch and was surprised to find no lunch specials. Then the manager told us we could only order from the happy hour menu it in the bar which had high seats that there's no way my mom could climb into. The restaurant space was empty.
