    meatballs and antipasti sampler

Love this place. Food is amazing. HH at the bar 3-6 with great prices. Bartender was very nice and went out of her way to help . I didn't love the antipasti sampler but everything else i've had is great!

Repeat! Sunday afternoon, was able get a seat right away. Our server Gabriela came over and took the drink order within few minutes. Awesome pricing on pint of Peroni @ $5.50. We have plenty of Italian restaurants serving Peroni drought in Denver but hard to find in Italy. The small salad was packed with two different types of olives, generous amount of feta. Very refreshing for a hot day! Must repeat for next time. Shrimp fettuccine was also delicious. Huge shrimps too. Also a repeat for Caprese salad. Overall, ambiance is good, service is excellent and great value for the money.

We went here on a Sunday night around 6pm and it was quite busy! We started with the calamari appetizer which was okay, but the fried zucchini was the highlight. For our entrees, we ordered the ravioli con formaggi, boscaiola, cannelloni bolognese and caesar salads. Everything was great, especially the cannelloni bolognese!

I have so many favorites at Pino's, today I'm enjoying the best Italian beef sandwich this side of the Missippi. Special of the day!

Clean Ambiance, good food, moderate service. The food was really tasty. The calzone was really good, it felt like the best value at the table and was a table favorite for us. The meatballs were well seasoned and juicy, the lasagna was robust and full of flavor. The chicken felt a little soggy and underwhelming, but had good flavor. The server was VERY attentive up front. But after we had gotten our order in, we sat with empty glasses for about 10 minutes without seeing them again. From order in to food on table was about 35 minutes. To be fair, it was a busy night, but it's not a large place. Time wise, everything felt slightly slower than I would have expected. In general, it was a good experience. I would go back again for the calzone alone. It was really good. However, nothing at the table was bad, and we all walked away satisfied. Prices were about what I would expect from this level of experience. But the calzone was the best value.

    Calamari! Great wine!

What's amazing about this place? Uhhhhh Everything! We love this place! The staff is super friendly and Lindsay is our favorite! Makes you feel like you are in her home being served as her guest! Sometimes we just come here just to see her! Ownership is new and they are doing a fantastic job with the menu and wine selection. We always get the Calamari...it's crispy and an amazing appetizer before dinner! Food is always consistent and the open restaurant to the kitchen is a nice feature. Nice selection of pasta dishes but I have to admit we also love their Calzone. deserts are delicious and it's always fun topping off your meal with a lemoncello martini! The bartenders make this a masterpiece! It can get busy...plan to get there a little earlier than the traditional dining hours! Don't walk....run and check out this place...ask to sit in Lindsay's section or at the bar when she's working that....you will love your experience!

Rude owner. Otherwise, we love this place for our little family (extremely well-behaved children). Delicious food and delightful waitstaff.

Drove from Castle Rock to One Barrel American Bistro and Wine Bar in Englewood for a late lunch/…read moreearly dinner on a Friday. Arrived around 2:15 pm. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant that is convenient. There were several people seated at the bar and a few others in the dining area. The decor is pleasant (see photos attached) with stacks of wine bottles from floor to ceiling on one wall. Our server was excellent. He appeared when needed and let us enjoy the wine and food the rest of the time. The Dark Noir flight offered a few ounces of 3 distinctly different pinot noirs for a reasonable $16. The Pike Road from Willamette Valley stood out with a complex flavor profile. Will definitely be buying several bottles for home next time at Total Wine. The steak frites was delicious. The frites were fried in a batter and the ketchup was thick and flavorful. The 8 oz NY strip was a nice cut with little fat and a tasty green peppercorn glaze. It tasted like it had been grilled on a barbecue and was cooked a perfect medium. The turkey sandwich with avocado and pepper aioli was also outstanding and a generous size. The only disappointment was the music selection which was a cross between country and 1950's. It reminded me of the soundtrack from the David Lynch movie Blue Velvet. And the music was loud enough to be a bit intrusive. Would subtract 1/2 star for that but it rounds up to a 5, and all the other positives far outweigh that negative.

Read good reviews, so stopped in to check it out…read more FOOD: We had read something about good cocktails, but it took a lot of digging (beyond the menus provided) to find anything about it. Wine list was a lot shorter than I sort of expected from a place called a "wine bar." The malbec I ordered a glass of was fine; my wife's rose champagne was very nice and dry. We tried a couple of apps to see if we wanted to order dinner. The polenta fries were dry. The Korean pork tidbits were tasty but just little chunks of pork in a bowl. Nothing drastically wrong with either, but not anything particularly inspiring, either. We decided to have dinner elsewhere. SERVICE: Friendly, but felt pushed to order something *right now*. The receipt came with QR code for payment through Toast. It wasn't clear if I should pay through that, or wait for her to take my card. (I used the QR code, and the waitperson then wandered over (to get my card, it seemed) and seemed surprised and very relieved I'd used the QR code, which saved them so much work. AMBIANCE: Nicely decorated place. They apparently do a number of events, and when we were there, a big party was going on in the front half of the dining room, which was fairly noisy (and the crowd of which spread across the entrance). NET-NET: Not a great experience -- not bad, strictly speaking, but there's a lot of other places I could have gone. I'd eat there again if a friend recommended meeting there, but given the many choices in downtown Englewood, I wouldn't pick it again on my own.

There's thankfully parking in front and around the back in lots. One of the highlights is their charcuterie boards - we ordered one last time and it was packed full of goodies: meats, cheeses, cornichons, olives, nuts, fruit, etc. Really well thought out. We did consider coming back here recently for our friend's birthday but apparently if you try to make a reservation for over 6 people you have to PAY per person - that's a little ludicrous. I understand a party of 50 and charging some fee, but to charge for a small party is a way to not get party business. I would likely come back here as it is a nice central location and has a nice patio though.

We walked in without reservations and managed to grab one of the last open tables, so I'd definitely recommend booking ahead. The space has a great atmosphere with low lighting, candles on the tables, and that lively dinner buzz that makes a restaurant feel exciting without being overwhelming. Our server, who I think may have also been a manager, was fantastic and brought such a fun energy to the experience. The house focaccia immediately changed my opinion of the place. Honestly the best focaccia I've ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, salty, flavorful, and good enough to eat completely on its own. The spring greens were light and fresh, and both pasta dishes were excellent with perfectly al dente pasta and great seasoning. I ordered the chimaera alla vodka, but my friend's no waste gnocchi ended up being my favorite bite of the night. We finished with lattes and tiramisu, and somehow the meal kept getting better. The coffee was genuinely better than what you get at a lot of coffee shops, and the tiramisu was light, balanced, and not overly sweet or soggy like it sometimes can be. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.
