What a great experience! If you think you are not an artist (like me), do not worry! They will show you how to paint step-by-step. Trust me, you're going to be surprised on how your work will turn out so beautifully. They have a bar in the back if you want to drink wine, beer, or just soda. Customer service was great too. My neighbor accidentally got paint in my wine, but they were able to replace it no charge! They also went around and gave a few pointers, compliments, and chocolates which really added on to the positive experience. However, their wine glasses had quite a bit of lint on it. So if you get a drink, request to rinse your glass (and air dry) if possible. Also, there's free parking at the parking structure across the street, behind the movie theater. read more

Wine not included. I've done a few different wine and paint places. This was by far the most expensive(like 15+ more per person than I'm used to) and NO beverages were included. We paid $30 for a bottle of wine that I then looked up was was only $10 at the grocery store. Then on top of that, the assistant came around and when my husband asked for help on his painting, the assistant smirked, scoffed, and said "ARE YOU COLOR BLIND?" It was SO RUDE and set the tone for our whole experience. They also asked when booking the event if we had anything to celebrate and we stayed it was our one year anniversary and they proceeded to acknowledge birthdays but never said anything to us. Why ask if you're not going to do anything? Would much rather go somewhere else where it's been cheaper and we've had a much better experience. read more

Paint and sip outdoors! What a vibe. We had a Sunday night session at 6-8 PM. They really know how to make a fun and creative atmosphere with music playing, energetic instructors, and free chocolate. This studio is located in downtown Brea which has relatively lively nightlife and good restaurants nearby. Scheduling was super easy with online reservations. A session costs $35 and includes the canvas to keep, and an apron, paint, and brushes to use. Drinks are extra and cost $7-14 per glass or you can get a bottle. I would recommend coming early and getting a drink beforehand if you plan to drink, since the class goes by very quickly. They have cubbies inside where you can safely store your items. In addition, the paint is acrylic and dries very fast, so you don't have to worry about staining your car in the transport afterwards. There is a parking structure and parking lot across the street, and parking is free. The pacing was excellent and it was really fun to learn! Our instructor was Mackenzie and I really recommend her! A positive thing about taking an outdoor session during covid is that the class sizes are very small. I've seen pictures of a more crowded class pre-covid and this is definitely preferable since it's easier to follow and you get more individual instruction. read more

Wonderful for a girls night out!!! I'd come back here again definitely!! We had a group of 8, and it was truly memorable. Easy to register for classes, and they had different times and paintings to choose from, so it was easy to select the one suited for our group. Loved getting there 30 mins prior to get a head start on the wine, and the loft was so private it felt like ours. Everyone was so friendly even as our group got a little rowdy It was nice that 2 in our group didn't register but they were still able to hang out with us and keep our drinks going lol. Wine prices were so reasonable, I really could have stayed there longer just for drinks! Pinot Palette was such a fun activity to do. This was a great idea for adults who just want to go out and do some sort of hands on activities. We have no art talent at all but Jacob and Bailey made the experience fun. You can't go wrong with your painting, they go around encouraging you to try your own ideas and be creative. For the class alone, it came out to $70 but it was well worth it. Food and drinks are separate but not bad on the prices. You get to keep the painting when you're done. Mackenzie and Gabriel were the amazing and gifted hosts for the full class this Friday evening. Music, wine, beer, and Halloween candy flowed. The three of us chose "The Nightmare Before Christmas on a Starry Night" to paint. We shared a bottle of Prosecco Brut and a tall glass of German Beer. We painted, we laughed, we got our fingers dirty. Mackenzie and Gabriel were so cool and fun, patient and very gracious. Some people paint beautifully, skillfully, and are able to stay along with the class and then you have other funny folks like myself who did our best, trusted in the moment, and just had a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went to Roll Em Up Taquitos for some fun finger foods to end the night. Our masterpieces are now in our homes and as we look at them proudly, we thought about what a great Friday Family Night we had. Thank you to Mackenzie and Gabriel for such a wonderful experience. We shall be back before the year ends, for sure! Please tip the Hosts / Artists as it is quite a bit of work to keep a full class entertained whilst assisting them with their creations. We tipped after closing our tab and tipped The Artists Jar as well. Having come from service and teaching master classes myself, I find that gratuity and sincere gratitude go a long way. I have been to Pinot's Palette in Brea and to the Tustin location several times. It has always been a great experience and a relaxing way to spend your Saturday afternoon or weekday evening. Tonight, I went with a friend to Pinot's Palette in Brea. Our teacher was Gabriel. He is an excellent artist and teacher. We painted a colorful vase with flowers in an Impressionistic style. Gabriel told everyone to "just make it your own" which I liked because my friend, who came with me, prefers modern art. We have been to many Pinot's Palette locations and always have an amazing time. We came to the Brea location for a black light event and brought 4 people with us from out of town. This was not the same great experience that we have received at other locations. Our instructor Jess was very nice, however, she did not teach or guide us at all. She gave us very minimal direction whereas other locations guide you every step of the way. I would not recommend this location. The other locations are interactive, social, and even play games with the guests. She was more focused on painting her own picture rather than being an instructor to the class. The bartenders gave us more direction when walking around filling drinks. Overall, a very awkward and upsetting experience. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place!!! I booked my five sisters and I here so we can sip n paint, and only ended up with THE BEST THING I'VE EVER DRAWN IN MY LIFE. The tutor/teacher/master guru painter was SO SWEET! They played upbeat music during the short breaks while people were catching up to the next step. I had so much fun here with my boyfriend. I felt like this location in particular had better painting options. The instructor was super helpful and bartender was very attentive. The class did go over time and didn't end until 10pm instead of 9 but I think that was because our class was completely full and some people came late so we couldn't start without them. There's a drink menu with wines and beers, around $7 for a glass of wine. There's also an option to buy bottles. There's a free parking structure walking distance from the studio. I love this place! My girlfriend surprised me with an awesome time at Pinot's Palette. Long story short, I got injured a couple days prior and so my gf called in ahead to see if I can get an accessible seat. And so upon arriving, I got a corner seat next to the bar area and close up front to the teacher. And they were really nice. The wine was delicious. Of course I had to finish my gf's wine since she was driving, but still loved painting and drinking. Whoever came up of this idea is a genius! The painting we did was Starry Northern Lights. It was a fun painting! All the beautiful colors and easy instructions, FUN!!!! It was over a year ago that we were invited here for a birthday event. I was worried about not being able to paint. Well..there was definitely nothing to worry about. The host or instructor took everything step by step. The night before, hubby & I had a stressful situation occur at a concert venue. We were both feeling ptsd. - This was really fun! Went on a whim since my moms friend cancelled on her, I'm glad because I got to attend! :) -I like their place, just seemed a little dirty upstairs furniture wise. Downstairs, they already preset your name and where you're sitting. I wish online they let you choose your seat kind of like a ticket master instead style. We had a hard time turning around when the instructor was talking, although they do have a projector with live streaming so you can see on a tv in another direction. -Personally felt like the pace was so fast, and when it ended everyone kind of looked like what? This is it? I could have spent around another hour detailing which I probably will at home eventually. - Also, I realize this is down birch, but at 35$ a person. Wow, plus selling alcohol this place makes a grip of money at least a fully sold out painting session is a good 950+$. Crazy. I would expect like 30$ to be a little more faire in pricing, but again brea Birch street I get it. It probably cost an arm and leg to lease there. - I like also how they don't complain about how much you need help, or you need something. -No BYOB, they sell alcohol here in their bar in the back hence the name. -Their music choices definitely catered to the crowd. It was often times almost artistic base, and other times sing along type of jams. -The staff were very helpful, and polite!!! Probably be back in the near future.
