Came here with 2 of my girlfriends last night for the first time! I've been to a place similar to Pinots Palette in LA that was bring your own wine and they would open our bottles for us and it was only a couple dollars more than the Thursday special here. Instead, Pinot's had a bar area with wine and beer selections. My friends and I got our first glass for free and I chose their White House wine which was very pleasant! It was smooth and the right amount of sweetness. I also ordered a glass of Rosé and I enjoyed it very much! A glass can range from $6-8 dollars from what I can remember. They also had a nice beer selection for those who prefer beer. The experience itself was fun and my friends can say the same. I liked that they had our names written in chalk so we knew where to sit because the one i went to in LA was first come first serve on seats so chances were slightly limited in sitting next to your friends if there's 3+ in the party. This could be requested online when purchasing tickets! We drew tiger lillies and our class was filled with an energetic crowd. I also enjoyed the opportunity to write down song recommendations before the class started while everyone was mingling. Everyone wrote down good songs so everyone was singing along while painting. Made a reservation for 4 online. Parking is in a structure then it's a short walk to the store. The instructor and helper were both friendly. Our session was 2 hours long and it definitely got tiring for our backs lol. For the most part it was easy to follow along, but she definitely sped ahead when some of us were still on the previous step so we had to play catch up. The helper walked around just in case if we had any questions, but I didn't like how she stopped me in the middle of my painting to tell me to try another brush for easier control lol. I know she was just trying to help, but I'd prefer it if they helped only when asked. Overall, it was a fun experience for $38! read more

Went with my bf to try something new for our date night and Pinot's Palette did not disappoint. Parking was super easy due to the nearby parking structure. The studio inside was so decorative and colorful, I really enjoyed looking at all the previous artwork they had on display there. Drinks were decently priced. The class itself was very straightforward. The instructor we had was very nice, and friendly, however she did go a bit fast so just be prepared. However, our paintings turned out lovely. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys art and creating something of their own. read more

Had the best night painting our fall wine bottle! The location was great too as it was downtown so eating and drinking for Happy Hour was perfect. The instructor was great in explaining details. We started off with a complimentary glass of wine, followed by a toast, and then on to the bottle. I like that the seats are already assigned with your name so there is no rush in getting there prior to start time. Definitely looking forward to going back again! read more

SO happy this place exists!! My dad and I both love to draw/paint, so I got both of us painting sessions here for Christmas. First off, just walking into Pinot's Palette, it is so gorgeous! Looks very clean and new. There is such a friendly, happy vibe when you walk in. Also, the workers are EXTREMELY friendly! They write your name on your spot on the table with chalk, so you know where to sit when you walk in. Also, the class is not too big, not too small, so it is a fun environment and easy to see the instructor! They make painting so easy for people who don't have much experience! The lessons are detailed, well organized, and never dull! It is very easy to follow, and they always have people walking around during the lessons just in case anyone has any questions. However, they also do not talk to you too much/give too much advice while you are painting to allow you to be creative with your painting! The provide everything for you - apron, brushes, paint, canvas. The wine selections are also very nice and fairly priced! They walked around with different flavors of chocolate for everyone, which was really nice. I will definitely be back here! :) read more

Nice environment, many art works posted on Wall. Easy lesson, I like the music playing while we are painting our art work feel very relaxing. One thing i really don't like is the lighting, it was very reflexing which make a lot harder to see at my own work, i thought it was only me but my friends got the same issue too, so end up we would have to keep standing up to be able to see our own art work when everyone else just sit and drew Second thing is I would prefer the instructor would give a bit of help or suggestions while we r doing our painting instead of shown us how to start on the part n leave us on our own and never walk around n give a peek and see if we needed help or not. Over all still everything is good and we had a lot of fun I thought drink was FREE for a cup but Opps Nope you would have to purchase them (I went to other art place, 1 drink was FREE, thought would be the same, guess NOT!） read more

Pinots palette is honestly a great time for any occasion! (Date night, girls day, birthday, etc) Atmosphere: - Super cute! They have tables with canvas set up right when you walk in with painted pictures hung all around and a bar in the back. (Bathrooms are by the bar) - There is also stairs that lead up to lounge area if you get there early to drink. Bar: - They have different selection of wines, as well as champagne, and will make mimosas if you want. - Plus if you don't like any of those they have beer and the guy who served us was awesome! Painting: - They have different paintings for different classes so look up which one you want to paint before you sign up - The instructors are so nice! They make the experience completely worth it and help you every inch of the way. - If you don't like the colors they have for the picture you can change it and the instructors will help you make sure the colors you chose work! - Also I spilled my paint water and was super embarrassed... The instructors cleaned it up and were super nice about it! (That made me feel a lot better) Overall, this was a great time and I will definitely be returning! I have so many reasons for giving this place 5 stars. The vibe here is AMAZING! I'm always having a blast when I'm here. It's a great way to destress (cause we all have that one day that just didn't go our way). The music is great! They play hits from the early 2000s til now ( I'm just guessing the range). The staff is AMAZING! They're super friendly, they walk around asking if I need anything or I can flag them down. The bar has a variety of wine and beer to choose from, but my ALL time favorite drink is the Moscato. It's soooo good! I am not the least bit artistic, but I thoroughly enjoyed painting and sipping wine at Pinot's Palette. The instructor leads the 2 hour class step by step in creating a painting. I would like to start off by saying that this is my first time doing an art class with drinks and I want to give my raw honest opinion on this session. After paying 43 dollars per person, you are paying only for the painting. Drinks not included. I was quite disappointed in hearing this as I thought they were included. I would also like to add that they don't offer refunds. I mistakenly bought two seats and couldn't get a refund due to policy. I painted the "Sailing with Monet" from 2-4:30 and the instructor was not the best instructor in my opinion. She wasn't able to give clear directions, speaking about art terminology but didn't explain what they meant or how to do so, the pace she did was inconsistent from going too fast to going too slow, and the worst part of all was that she wasn't being a great host. She told us to give song suggestions and when I wrote mine, she skipped over it, just because it is a classical song. Isn't this supposed to be a group activity where ALL of us enjoy the music, not just a select few? Overall, I was quite disappointed and upset how this instructor handled this session as well as interactions with the class. She even had the audacity to ask for a tip when she wasn't teaching a class, she was just painting with us as though it was a hang out session with friends. The tip should be included in the price as it is already expensive for a session. I'm unsatisfied with this overall experience, as this was my first painting class, and I hope whoever reads this has a better experience than I did. read more

It's a wine and paint night, so you would think that there would be laughter and talking and enjoyment. Nope... not allowed. This is only for those who think they are Vincent Van Gogh. My fiance and I came here for an anniversary date. We came on Cinco de Mayo and had an amazing time. This is a great activity for so many holidays because they like to fit the theme of the day into your experience. As we were painting, a mariachi band was playing nearby, since we're in the heart of downtown Brea, and the teacher asked them to play a few songs for us while we finished our painting. It was an awesome experience and really complimented my Mexican lager I was enjoying as well. On top of that, the teachers are very patient and caring because they know many of us have little to no experience with painting. we had a fun time at Pinot's Palette last night in downtown Brea. my wife and 4 friends were front row for Sea Serendipity. we were greeted by the friendly Lucia and Miguel. Miguel ran the wine/paint session and was very friendly and helpful. he encouraged all of us first timers and helped us create our Sea Turtle masterpieces. the wine was nice and reasonably priced; with quick/friendly service by Lucia. at the end she offered to take a group photo with our masterpieces and i even saw it on their facebook page. it was super fun: i had never done this before; but i will definitely go back, and so should you. read more

What a fun atmosphere to paint in! It's such a welcoming atmosphere and filled with such beautiful paintings - the energizing environment made the hours fly by so fast. Definitely coming back. Made me feel like a painter even though I had never painted on a canvas before; easy to follow instructions even my child could do it. I found this location to be very friendly, well lit and cozy. From the decor to the staff I really enjoyed coming to this place. Everything was a lesson, from the mixing of colors to the types of stokes on canvas - I learned so much in a couple hours and had fun doing it. They really go above and beyond to help you out and give you feedback. I also really enjoyed my champagne which was so bubbly and refreshing. Had a great time with my husband today. The class was from 11am to 1:30 pm and the instructor gave instructions clearly and with great timing. Although I wasn't as talented as the instructor was, I had a great time. They have a bar in the location and you can order drinks and wine. During our session, we were treated with some ghirardelli chocolate, which was neat. I enjoyed the little treat. This is a perfect place for date night or a night out with friends. It's located in downtown Brea and there are so many locations to visit after for food, lunch, shopping, movies or drinks. It is located right in front of the Edwards theatre. This place is fun for drinking wine and painting. I was pretty apprehensive about going as my drawings are stick figures if even that. However once there the owners and employee make you feel welcome and the instructor actually walks you through on how to pain. It's step by step along with really good instructions to get the look that you want to get on the canvas. You can follow their instructions or go off on your own. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the final photo which I was pretty proud of. The pictures I've attached shows the process of how everything went.
