We have been twice now. They have a LOT of work to do. Dang near everything is handled so awkwardly! Someone else's drinks coming out to us way late, never getting what we ordered, drinks made way wrong, went over to Cru afterwards and it was night and day. It's like it is everyone at pinstripes first day on the job. One of the waiters in the completely crowded lane area was bowling between taking drink orders... sometimes forgetting to take drink orders. When should a bowlers booze cup be empty? Nevah!! This review is for the bistro. We are completely impressed by their Hospitality, their outdoor space and the food. Our waiters both times we went were attentive and very helpful. The outdoor space is amazing with a wood burning fire pit and just great space and tables overall. We had the tenderloin sliders, chopped salad, artichoke dip, French dip salmon sandwich which were all amazing. their bar is nice with great selection and wine list. Pinstripes is situated in the ClearFork shopping area which is just an amazing place to walk around hang out go shopping and eat. Went with some friends for a birthday party. Must be new as none of the staff was very attentive. Our waiter took our order for happy hour apps and then charged full price when we checked out. When we brought it to his attention he abruptly informed us we were incorrect even though we ordered from the "happy hour menu " they gave us. One of 3 tables, and we still had to interrupt the hostesses from their I-phones to finally send our waiter. Had to go to the bar for refills, no one cks on food quality. Too many other good restaurants in Clearfork to settle for this. Mgmt needs to step up their game and get their crew moving. Had it just been one time or every other, but it's now the new norm. We arrived at around 6 pm and had no trouble getting seated. However, it took ten minutes for a waiter to come and take our drink order and it wasn't busy. However, after we got our drinks, everything was fine, and a waiter was assigned to us. Besides that, the food was really great and it's a great menu. 5 stars for being way better than expected! Great service, Alex was a fantastic server. Very attentive, respected the fact that we wanted a leisure dinner and never tried to rush us. Had a few drinks at the bar before dinner. Wine was a little pricey but beer and name brand liquor very reasonable. We started with the spinach dip. While the dip had a great flavor, it was a little soupy for me. I did like that they gave you plenty of pita bread for the dip. Usually one of my pet peeves! Also got complimentary bread sticks with a pesto oil. These were so good. I could have eaten the whole basket. For dinner I had the short ribs. I felt like I got a lot of food for the money. A big piece of boneless short rib with very little fat, a huge scoop of homemade mashed potatoes, and a few root vegetables (wish there would have been more, they were yum). The short rib was perfectly cooked. It was so tender that I could cut it with my fork. The thick brown gravy that it was served on was salted exactly how a gravy should be and was a great addition to the meat. Although it hardly needed it bc it was so moist. Could have used a little more gravy for the potatoes. Also had the cheese burger cooked medium. It came out cooked exactly how we asked and was just a down right great old cheeseburger. The burger had a wonderful grilled flavor like it just came off a real bbq pit. The cheddar cheese was a lovely match to the burger. I balked about going here bc it was a bowling alley, but don't let that deter you from going here and getting a really fab meal at a decent price. The dining area is totally set apart from the alley. In fact you wouldn't even know that there was one there. One last note, the bowling and boce ball is very expensive. One hour of boce ball for 6 people was $65. And we played on the outside court in July! Also don't walk in on a Saturday night and expect to be able to bowl or play boce unless you've made a reservation in advance. read more

Since then we have visited for special events (brunch with Santa) and have used their large space for annual office meetings. I've been coming to this restaurant for a long time with friends and family. Last Sunday I came with my husband and my two kids. We didn't have a reservation whereby the host indicated us that the spaces available where 2nd floor or outside. We decided to eat on the second floor. My kids went to grab food while I ask the bar tender if I could get utensils because nobody came to our table to great us and take our drinks order. I went downstairs to ask for some coffee and they forgot about it. We didn't got drinks or utensils. I ask a sever for the third time for help and we never receive the service. Hubby, myself and friends went to City Works last night hoping to have a nice dinner and catch the Cowboys game and quite honestly it was obvious from the moment I walked in that the people greeting us at the door wanted us to leave. They made it very clear that the wait would be a minimum of 30 - 40 minutes with no guarantee. Emphasis on the "no guarantee" multiple times. I finally asked what did that mean and was told it would likely be more than two hours. There were multiple empty tables and we were told that they were all reserved. So we asked about making a reservation and were told they were no longer taking them. I finally said to my friends let's move on, it's obvious they are not interested in having us here. The three girls then proceeded to make faces behind our backs as we left, prompting my friend to smile and tell them "no faces, ladies". So, no worries, we won't be back. It really seemed like they had no interest in my business. My wife and I came in on a Friday evening after dinner to check the place out, since they recently opened. We were greeted with a very friendly person at the entrance, who told us that there would be a long wait before being able to bowl. Because of that, we decided to try to get a table on the upstairs patio and enjoy a drink there. When we got to the top of the stairs, it was the two of us and a handful of staff members, none of whom wanted to talk to or acknowledge us. A simple "sorry folks, the upstairs bar is closed, but they'll help you downstairs," would have been helpful (set aside the fact that there was nothing up there to suggest it was closed). I would rate this the worst experience I have ever encountered at a family dinner and rate this a 0 and I will tell you why and would love to be contacted back. I wanna start off by saying back 10-16-21 we had a 10 star experience and spent ALOT of money there for our gender reveal for my 1st child. It was the greatest experience ever as a token of gratitude the company's general manager gave me and my fiancée and her parents 1 free dinner 1st round of drinks and a desert and appetizer on his business card. Today on 5-14-22 we decided to come out and use those gifts and brought multiple people with us to enjoy a night out. We all sat down at the table and at first the waitress was okay but she came around to take our orders starting with me first I asked politely to take the others orders first because I hadn't decided on a dish yet. She then took everyone else's orders and my fiancée mother told her we had some free dinners for just the 4 of us and the other 5 people were on a tab her whole personality changed towards us and became the worst service she stormed off without taking my order I waited 10 minutes before grabbing a host to ask if she could get our waitress' attention because she did not take my order. The lady I ask was wearing her sunglasses inside for one which in unprofessional in a dinner setting like that, but that's besides the point the host replied to my question and said and I quote " well you waitress just doesn't like you and then the host turned and walked away" I was very upset about that comment that she made and I was shocked and had no idea how to take that. The waitress finally came back and took my order, and then went back and started gossiping with other coworkers. She never came back to ask if we wanted our drinks refilled now if we wanted and other alcoholic beverages. Once our food came out she never even came back to ask us how everything was tasting. Which the food was amazing no complaints there. But then came down to the desert we ordered it then came out was just cheese cake, none of the other deserts we ordered came out then she told us sorry the deserts are frozen and would not be coming out so they brought us extra cheese cake. Okay I get that but then it came down to the billing and that seemed to be a cluster. All the checks were mixed up they took 20+ minutes to get half way right by that time my 1 month old baby was fussing and we said screw it and paid the bill and left. If my employees treated my customers like this in my company they would be out of a job or disciplinary actions would be in play. Ok so I came for the Grey's Anatomy trivia night and it was nothing like I expected. It was completely UNORGANIZED like for a trivia night you think a big place like this would have their stuff together but no. We walked in and no one acknowledged us. There was a big party there already and they would not be quiet which didn't help cause the room echoes. So the hosts or whatever would try to read out the questions and we couldn't even hear. They wouldn't even try to get them to shut up so we had to piece together some of the questions due to not being able to hear. I mean literally they sounded like geese. The hosts didn't make any kind of effort try to make it fun and they were just sitting and drinking. It was basically like a private party and they treated us like outsiders even though it was a public event. PLUS their food was disgusting and overpriced. My sister ordered the bolognese and it had a slab of butter and it was the size of my fist for 17$??? Like??? Y'all this place is crap it's a wanna be high class Dave and busters. Just go to Dave and busters literally it's 10,000 times better and cheaper. read more

I read the reviews before coming and arrived about an hour before my reservation. The facility is brand new just opened at the beginning of April and it is amazing. The feng shui in the building is very sophisticated yet inviting. The host staff is so friendly but you can tell they are still in training. Lashaun gave me a tour around the entire building. I told her I was skeptical about bringing my family because of the reviews about the spacing. She really had a lot of knowledge of the building and explained how each lane can accommodate up to 8 people to bowl but the seating was taken into consideration when assigning lanes. Some lanes have an extra couch in the back to accommodate more than other lanes. But there are tables in the back of the lanes and they can always add chairs and benches for your group. I had a group of 20 and we were giving three lanes and were very comfortable. The food was great calamari has to be the best I ever had. My chicken and goat cheese was good; well the little bit I was able to eat because my husband loved it. This isn't the place to bring your bowling league team but family fun or a work team outing absolutely. Yessica was our server and she handled my group like a pro. Other staff members came over and pitched in a few times refilling drinks and bringing meals. Us being a big party we never were in search for staff which was a huge plus for me. I recommend you come and try it for yourself I think think this place is AWESOME. Besides Lashaun not being a cowboys fan I have ZERO complaints. read more
