My boyfriend and I have gone to SoNo Collection a handful of times (we are from Westchester, NY) and each time Pinstripes has caught our eye. Two days ago, was the first time we decided to go in and see what it was all about. First thing we did, was ask about bowling, but it was a Saturday and all their lanes get pre-booked during the week. So we decided just to sit and eat. Knowing that it was a bowling place, we had little hopes for the food and drinks.... but we were wrong. The food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING! My boyfriend had the burger with an egg on top and the Moscow Mule for drink. I had the Margarita flatbread pizza, with a side of risotto and their Blackberry Basil (non-alcoholic) drink. My boyfriend was very impressed by the condiments as well. He said the honey mustard and ketchup tasted like they were homemade and fresh. So if you are big on more fresh cooking, then frozen and processed, this is the place for you. We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing service and how quickly we were served from ordering to eating. While we were there, they were having a party in their party room (yes it looked like they were following COVID procedures) and it looks great in there as well! Due to their open kitchen, we were able to see all the food that was going on and out of the party room and could hear the music the DJ was playing (we loved it!). Also, the decor and ambiance is not what you would expect from a place that looks like the cater to just kids and party's. The decor was sleek and clean, while flowers where the majority of the back drop. We loved our food and our time here. I highly recommend this restaurant at SoNo Collection, over all the other small eateries at the mall. read more

We celebrated my aunt's birthday at Pinstripes today. The manager, Mickey, and our server, Victoria, were excellent. Mickey introduced us to our server; Victoria and Victoria immediately took our order, and within 5 minutes, our soup, bread, and starter came out. Super fab concept and I wish them well. Great wine and drink list too. This landscape of being pressured to order food before you even decide what you want to eat in the Covid environment: not cool. The manager was very very nice and tried to make amends for the faux pas of the server. Again, I wish them well. I know operating during Covid is strenuous but this place likely might not be on my regular rotation. Don't steer away from them based on me though. I'm all for supporting local innovative businesses. If they are going to pressure folks to order food so quickly, perhaps expand the appetizer list. As of now, there are only 4 mediocre options from which to choose. If they had more intriguing choices, such as what you see upon entering at Romanacci Express, then I'd have ordered something immediately. As it stood, I could not decide which direction to go for food - either pizza or a salad and an entree - and by the time the server pressured me once again, I really did not feel like giving them my dining $. Didn't know we had Covid surcharges going these days. But whoever owns this place, please know your managers are excellent and are trying to do the best under the circumstances. Please commend them. Health commissioners: you need to chill ax if you want businesses to be in business at all post Covid or whatever new pandemic may be on the horizon. I can't have a wine while I'm deciding on my entree...what, are you my mother? Disgusting we are living in this sort of environment. I set up a reservation for dinner and bowling on a Saturday evening. I liked that everything was in one spot and easy to navigate. The restaurant was modern and open. The menu had great items to choose from for both food & drinks. I had a blueberry mash cocktail, which reminded me of a blueberry mojito. The drinks were kind of weak but overall tasted good. For food I had the rosemary chicken & goat cheese pasta. It was delicious and the portions were great. After dinner we moved over to the bowling side. The alleys were small & intimate which I really liked because it was easier to talk amongst friends and feel close to one another. I would rate 0 star. The worst catering experience ever. I put the catering order online. There was no email or text confirmation. I called them a few days later to ask about my order. They couldn't find it. So I put my online order again and they confirmed they received it. Two days after I picked the food, my credit card is double charged. Secondly, they messed up my order. I ordered 2 pizzas, 2 orders of BBQ racks and some appetizers. The food we picked up had no pizza but 4 orders of BBQ racks. We tried to call back immediately and nobody answered the phone. I called the Pinstripes many times. The receptionist always transferred me to the event manager and nobody picked up. Extremely disappointed. We will never go to this place again. read more

Local business team event this past week... AMAZING! Was a bit worried as we had about 30 people in the semi-private bowling lane area with 2 servers. Thought we'd be having an issue with wait time for drinks... not to worry! The servers were ON POINT! Drinks were delicious, no complaints. Chose from a variety of options off their menu for buffet 'grazing'. Each one was better than the other! Seriously delicious and BEAUTIFUL antipasto board. Great pizza's, wings and, a few of the attendees said the burger sliders tasted like they were made from filet! Had a wonderful time... kudos to the chef (kitchen) and management staff! We went there for brunch today and while the food was good and the buffet had a good selection, there was a DJ playing very loud and unappropriate music. It was my first time bowling at this spot. My friend and I went. We were running late so our reservation time was moved, which was appreciated. The spot is spacious, gives a "luxury-like" feel, and welcoming. The staff at the front desk were kind and warm towards my friend and I. Due to Covid, we were placed away from others, but again, I really liked that. Price - 5/5. $13/hr to bowl and includes shoes? You can't beat that. Food - 5/5. It was during happy hour. We ordered wings, pizza, and sliders, which were all delicious! I took no pics because we tore the food up soon as we got it lol. Drinks - 5/5. Can't go wrong with rounds of tasty wine. I loved that wine was served in actual wine glasses, making the experience more "luxurious" lol. Service - 4.5/5. At first, service was pretty slow because there was a larger party being taken care of more, but our server apologized and were checked in frequently for anything until our reservation was done. Music - 3/5. Family friendly place, which is understandable, but would like to hear more recent hits in the future. A lot of random throwbacks. It was good! They are new and though it's their third day open, there is much potential for them. For starters they are open till Midnight, they have valet parking right at the restaurant, and outdoor seating in warmer weather. So it's a bowling alley and restaurant. Cool concept being in a mall. Tonight we have tried a couple apps. The spinach dip, and lobster bisque. Everything was solid! I enjoyed the food, cocktails, and music. The ambiance is diffidently there. I look forward to coming back to try out new items on their menu, and some bowling. I'd say they are the Superstar's of the entire mall! Did you know they were out of Texas? I visited on a Saturday morning. I made a reservation because of the weekend but restaurant was empty. Main reason to visit was my 6 yr old loved the Sunday buffet brunch and we were visiting the mall. We ordered from a la carte and the kids meals are $10, great except that the waffle sizes are insanely small! My son needed 2 orders of it. They charged us for 2 kids meals ($10 times 2). We received only 1 starter and 1 beverage and the server never asked us for the dessert, which was supposed to be included in the kids meal. They just brought use the bill before I could ask. I am not one to fight about such things so I just paid for 2 meals but it's a matter of principle. The prices are not worth the amount of food. If the waffle sizes are so small (literally 2 bites per waffle), you need to increase the# of pieces in the serving. No customer wants to pay $50-80 for their breakfast to find their kid's belly isn't even full! read more

My family and I visited the restaurant on July 4th for brunch. We sat outside and our waitress whose name is America was friendly, funny, and attentive. I read reviews on the food beforehand and they all seemed very good. My wife and I are foodies so the food must be on point or we won't be happy. I ordered the prime rib Au Jus sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was OUTSTANDING! The pretzel was soft and chewy and the prime rib super tender. The flatbreads were excellent as well. My family was extremely impressed with the food. We bowled afterwards and we received the same great service inside as well. I thoroughly had an amazing experience. The omelet and carving station with both the Malcolm's were my favorite part. They made the experience so much better, very personable, energetic, they truly showed team spirit together and I noticed that each customer whom left the station had a smile on their faces. Not only because the food was delicious but because they enjoyed doing what they were doing. A customer even wanted to record them and take a video of them cooking and interacting with one another and the customers She said to me that she was so impressed with their work ethic and how gracious they are. The brunch is fantastic ! AYCE selections are vast ! Bottomless mimosas, YES PLEASE! Also when I was there last, there was a child who was touching the food and licking his hand and then touching something different at the fondue fountain , I alerted the staff and they not only discarded the food on the table but they approached the mother and asked her to be more aware of her children . 10/10 would recommend!! They handled the situation beautifully and made sure all food was replaced . Really enjoyed our evening there and would recommend. The bocce courts are firm, fast and fun, separated adequately to ensure your ball or germs don't get onto another parties playing area. The food, as someone in my party said, is definitely above what you expect from a chain restaurant - good quality meat, good flavor and decent variety that can satisfy kids and adults of varying dietary requirements. Service was just OK but it was a weird Monday evening holiday so hard to fault them, especially during all these Covid restrictions the staff has to mind. Came here 2 months ago with a bunch of coworkers for a work retreat. Fun times bowling! Brings me back to my elementary school days where majority of my classmate's bday parties were held at bowling alleys/ skating rinks. However, this place is decked out and more for the adults. There's a happy hour menu with awesome food and drink deals! Staff was great and we all masked up. I've seen a lot of ads for 50% off discount takeout oreders, so go support them. Bar and restaurant is at the front and the alleys for bowling and bocce ball in the back. Location was a bit hard to find in the mall. I ordered a salad thru Uber eats that was buy one get one free. I assumed if I put one salad in the basket I would automatically get the free salad. Makes sense. But because I didn't order two salads they only gave me one and refused to give me my second salad. It's very sad that you wouldn't honor the second salad that I should have received. I love pinstripes! More affordable than going to bowlero, and much nicer quality. I think it's really cool and creative to have a restaurant that offers bowling, bocci, and fine dining. My boyfriend and i love going there for a few hours and ordering food at the lanes in between our games. The food is actually really good because the place is also a restaurant and not just some fast fried food like at a traditional bowling alley. So worth the time money and experience! On Friday 9/11/2020 my wife and I decided to try out Pinstripes in Norwalk, CT at the Sono Mall. Upon entering the establishment, it felt as you weren't in the even in a mall but it is. It's located on the uppermost level of the parking lot. The staff was nice to allow us to first have cocktail outside then later we spent time inside to dine and have additional cocktails. The cocktails were great especially the margaritas and 'Mule' cocktail. The appetizers and entrees were great especially the flatbread pizzas. The only one dish I had which really did not like was the lasagna dish. It was kind of small and more like an appetizer. It wasn't what I'd expected as lasagna. Bathroom and establishment were super clean and music was nice touch. The staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcomed which we truly appreciated. Our wait staff was Mario and Stacey who were awesome. We also wanted to thank the manager Megan for stopping by to check in on us. We're definitely come back again. There is a minor pleasant view from the parking lot rooftop. In terms of food, Pinstripes is okay - at its very best. Booked a bowling party -- 8 of us. Size of the appetizers was misrepresented so we had massive orders of each item which weren't particularly good, to begin with. We were walked into ordering pricier wine by our waiter who indicated it was on special that night. We were charged full price and then the event host/manager I booked with said that the discount did not apply to parties such as ours. Many places are superior to this and have better management. read more
