A lot of things changed including the price The bowling alley is the new hang out spot with a large bar area, happy hour and various specials. The bowling lanes were pretty clean and they gave us a menu for food and drinks when we were settled in. I was too afraid to drink alcohol while trying to bowl. I was afraid I may drop the ball on my foot. The menu did look good but because I was so rusty I had to concentrate on trying to bowl properly. The staff were extremely nice and we decided to put the bumpers up until we can get the hang of it. It was definitely a nice night full of laughter and a lot of fun. The concept of Pinstripes is really cool. What's better than food and games all in one location? While we did enjoy our food, the service lacked for us. The server we had seemed a bit inexperienced. It felt like we were being rushed out on what appeared to be a very slow evening. Our server checked in with us every five minutes which became a bit annoying and brought the bill without asking if we were ready. What if we wanted to order another round of drinks? I've been wanting to go here for the longest time and I was not disappointed. When we first arrived, they greeted us and told us to wait to be seated. We waited for about 5 minutes. They gave us an anniversary envelope which was the cute. Once we were taken to our bowling alley, the server came and asked us what we wanted. Though it did take a while for our food to arrive, our server stopped by and apologized for the wait, which I appreciated. The food was great. I was a little jealous of the dish my boyfriend ordered because it looked so good (though what I had was delicious as well). First time at Pinstripes and went for brunch. There were no seats available but we were told we can sit at the bar. I'm so glad we did! Our bartender/server was Dylan (not sure how they spell it, apologies if incorrect). We asked about drinks and Dylan mentioned a new drink they had made recently and asked my fiancé if he would like to try it. It was amazing! Let Dylan cook with their drink ideas because it was delicious! It was a bourbon drink with honey , marmalade and I believe oranges ? Fantastic, delicious and refreshing. Brunch was delicious and service from the host stand, the people serving , the bartender and the manager Mike made it an excellent experience. A few years ago, I gave this place a 5 star review. I'm sad to now have to give 1 star, it's related to bowling. The food and drinks are still great, but our experience yesterday was really bad. The staff knew lanes 3 & 4 were not working, yet they continued to put customers in those lanes. As we entered, we sat next to a family of four (husband, wife, & two young sons) that were in lane 3. The Dad informed us that the staff wasn't doing well, their was only one waitress in the bowling are, so service was very slow. He suggested we order food/drinks right away, cause it'll take a long time to arrive. The family was very nice, but their balls kept sticking. I didn't know at that time, that the same thing would happen in our lane. I informed the staff what was happening with our neighbor's balls, and they said they're working on both lanes, as it's been happening all day long. So my question was, why put customers here?.... They said it should be fixed soon. Well, it was not fixed when we were there. At one time, one of the young boys almost got his finger(s) squashed when all the balls came up (all at once). As a Mom, I know how scary that was for the other parents. They actually decided to cancel their food order, and leave soon after that happened. We lost about 30 minutes of bowling time, as the balls kept sticking. When we were on a roll, doing great in the game, it slowed us down. Killing the vibe, it got us out of the groove, and we didn't do as well as we could've. We tried to make the best of the moment, as we were told our time would be given back. Really wanted to like the place, we've had great experiences at other locations, but they haven't got the sono location working yet. It took Pinstripes seven minutes to get the pins working. We placed food order for our sons and then our server disappeared. The balls werent being returned to us, so we were barely able to complete a game in an hour. We kept trying to flag service down. Finally a server told us "oh yeah these lanes haven't been working all week" ok...then why still put customers on them? Wife and I never got the food we ordered. Ended up cancelling it because it hadn't been delivered before our hour was up. Our kids meals were comp'd (cheese burgers were ok, pigs in the blanket were better) which we appreciate but we were still charged $40 for a non-functioning bowling lane. We had been wanting to go to pinstripes for sometime, however, are not from the area. We decided to go the other day, and we were really impressed. The atmosphere is contemporary, casual, and really cool. There is bowling, a conference room, fire pits, outdoor seating (overlooking the parking lot ), a dining area, a pizza area, and a bar. The restaurant is huge! Restrooms super clean. The hostess was very nice when she greeted us at the door. We sat at the bar where we met Chris the bartender and his team. Chris was incredibly professional, attentive, kind, and helpful; we really appreciated him. The food was very good and the appetizers were really generous: recommend calamari, and the crispy brussels sprouts as they are delicious. Also, good are the sandwiches which we tried getting the open salmon cooked to perfection! A full bar exists with every option of beverage. Not being from the area, it took a little time to find where the entrance of the restaurant was, but that is not the fault of the restaurant, but rather the Mall. Just drive up to the very top level! And also pay for your parking as I learned from Chris that they check license plates on vehicles to make sure. Learned of the brunch at Pinstripes, and hope to be back in the near future to try it! The 1 star is for food quality. It was actually good. Problem was with everything up till we go our food. We first stopped in, went to the front and were told the wait is 30-35 minutes, although half the tables were empty. We figured ok, we'll walk around and made a reservation for later. Came back at 2pm and were promptly seated. Got a bottle of water, with 5 glasses. 4 of them were dirty, not just finger prints dirty, but dirty. Our waiter took our drink orders, brought out the seltzer waters that were ordered, took our food order and disappeared. We next saw him over half an hour later, after our food came out. The manager came by to check on us, after we sat for 20 minutes, and we told her we're waiting on our drinks, a glass of wine and a beer. She returned 5 minutes later with glass of wine and unopened bottle of beer (at which point we asked for a glass), which she had to take back to the bar, to get it opened and brought it back, and we asked for a glass again. Then eventually we asked for a glass a third time. So we got those 2 drinks half an hour after we sat down. Another 10 minutes later 1 of our 2 appetizers came out. As the kids inhaled it, the second appetizer came out. A few minutes later, we got our entries, and those were good. It's then that our waiter appeared and asked us about our food. Look, I get being busy, but this all could've been avoided with some simple communications. There's no reason for dirty glasses, half an hour for a beer or wine, or customers sitting around without anyone checking in. Do better. read more

It was widely held by our group that we were taken; having obtained little value for our substantial event fee. The food offered for our night (at a price north of $72/head) were a community table offering of few chicken legs, salmon, a Caesar Salad. and a macaroni dish. This followed an offering of several platters of hors devours. The bruschetta appetizer was very tasty. The salmon was also good although the flavoring did not especially appeal to me and that is a personal preference. But with a nice piece of salmon I want to taste the fish. I was very disappointed in the flavor of everything else really quite bland and unremarkable. Of course held hostage for four hours they really make their money at the cash bar. Never saw any offering of seconds people ended up taking tiny samples so everyone would get something to eat. The band was good although the room had terrible acoustics. Nonetheless they, along with gathered friends, made the night. I think you can do much better for your money elsewhere - paying for VIBE is much overrated. read more

We had our Galentine's brunch here this past Saturday and this is the first time in the 7 years that we've held our gathering that we've had such an awful experience. We were a group of 16, I had talked to the coordinator Sherry and we were reserved 3 weeks in advance. It should have been the easiest table for them since the food was already selected and the bill was already paid in advance. All they had to do was take the drink orders. They only had one bartender working at this time so the drinks were taking too long to come out. We were seated at 1:10pm and some of the group didn't get their first drink until almost 1:40pm. We spoke to our waitress and asked to get our open bar package extended since the drinks were taking a while and we had paid for the 2 hour open bar package. She got her manager, Sandra, to come and help us but she said she was unable to do this since our package started at 1pm the moment we were seated but like I said, we weren't seated until 1:10pm. There was also a mix up with the drink package, apparently the house liquor option does not include the cocktails listed on the menu so that took some time to get sorted out since we had to pick out new drinks. We asked if there was anything else she could do, like bring a pitcher out to make it easier instead of doing individual drinks or if we could go ahead and order our second drink now while still having our first since the drinks were taking more than 30 mins to come out anyway but she said no and got very argumentative with us. She said that it was a restaurant and they couldn't have a table get so drunk, that this wasn't the place for it. She then told us that if she wanted to, she could cut us off right then and there and we could deal with no drinks. Which keep in mind, at this point we had JUST gotten our first drinks! Why was it necessary to say this. I had already paid the bill in advance so I didn't want to say anything further and risk losing out on that money that we paid for the open bar package. She then told the waitress "You can take your time with her drink", referring to a member of my group who had asked to speak to her in the first place. That is incredibly rude and you don't say that to a paying customer. She was on a power trip and being so rude for no reason. At no point did we raise our voices at her or get nasty, we were just trying to get what we paid for. It definitely felt like they were taking their time bringing out our drinks after this. My margarita seemed like it was more ice and foam than drink too, I don't know if that was done purposely or not. Who knows. Our waitress was kind and did her best to take care of our table which I'm sure was a lot to deal with. We still had to deal with long waits for drinks and a few times they forgot to bring them out at all and had to be reminded. By 2pm most of were still waiting to get our second drink and one member of my group hadn't even gotten her first drink (the one who spoke up in the first place). Our waitress did a last call at 2:50 and then only brought out half the drinks. We had to go and flag her down to get the other drinks that they forgot to bring out. Sandra told us that we would have to finish them outside in the main area since they needed the room for a party at 5. Why, if it was not our fault that they forgot to bring out the rest of the drinks to half of the party? The whole time we just felt rushed and like they did not want to deal with our table. We paid a lot to have our event here and were not treated with the respect like you think a paying customer would be. Even when they brought out the dessert, they didn't give us plates or forks. I realized they just left the plates stacked up on a different table so we had to go grab them ourselves. I didn't want to ask for anything else at this point, they had already been so unhelpful and passive aggressive. The food was good and the drinks were ok too but this experience did not leave me feeling happy or satisfied. We always look forward to our annual Galentine's event and it was soured this year thanks to how Sandra spoke to us and handled the situation at the beginning and throughout the whole event. We understand that the restaurant has regulations when it comes to handling liquor but those comments that she made were simply unnecessary. I will not be holding another event here. read more

Let alone $10 for 2 ounces. Some nerve fancy pants. Italian jambalaya was also a deconstructed greasy mess ..... On all 3 bowling occasions the lanes broke down atleast 3 times ... The waitress (atleast ours) on a Saturday night didn't get us or the couple bowling in the lane over a beverage until the 4th frame. Not sure why the guy who brought us to the lane didn't ask .... We created a little tournament out of our time and it was great. Table service was good. But food options were limited. Everything we wanted was sold out. It was only 12:00pm. We had a wonderful brunch with Santa here! The Santa was really awesome, we took lots of pictures, he came around and gave out candy canes, and he even did a little dance with the kids. The food was delicious, and the chocolate fountain at the end was a big hit. you can put Rice, Krispies, marshmallows, fresh strawberries, twizzlers pretzels or brownies on a skewer and stick it into the chocolate yourself. Our family (2 parents and a 13 year old) went to Pinstripes for brunch on New Year's 2025 weekend, our 3rd time there for brunch over the last year. The three of us chose the all-you-can-eat buffet style brunch, which offers well over 100 different food items. We all agreed the food was delicious and prepared properly (not oversalted). Our favorites included the prime rib, crispy brussel sprouts, chicken and alfredo pasta, fresh shrimp, smoked salmon, and fresh strawberries with triple chocolate brownie for dessert. Everything was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, professional, and responsive to our few requests. The ambiance was family oriented and celebratory, a little loud but usually from good conversation and lots of laughing. The crowd was a mix of whites, blacks, hispanics and asians, of all ages from babies to elderly. Many had extended family together, sometimes 3 generations. Really nice. I knew nothing about the selections or costs. When we got there we were greeted warmly, seated immediately and approached quickly for our drinks. I kept saying to myself - oh boy i wonder what this costs...Well when the bill arrived and i saw the whole thing was only $35 per person it put the whole thing over the top as far as my expectations. I love Pinstripes! I had my graduation party here in 2021, and they did an amazing job. The food was delicious and I got the chocolate fountain which was a great idea instead of ordering a cake. My family and I are always going for brunch on Sunday's and always have a great time with the Dj and the amazing buffet. Never had an issue with the food or service, zero complaints. During the summer, the patio is great and this past 4th of July they allowed for residents to come see the fireworks on the rooftop, which was by far the best idea ever to avoid the heavy traffic from the beach and vets park. What separates Pinstripes from other bowling alleys is their high quality fresh food prepared in their mo steroid kitchen and served by their upbeat friendly staff. Sure they have your typical bowling fried favorites, but also offer an array of gourmet dishes and salads. One of my favorites is definitely the Prime Rib Dip. Bowling and bocce are charged by the hour and not per game. I recommend two hours as one may have you feeling a bit rushed between eating and playing. Wow! What a pleasant experience. I will start with the only knock on the place; it is a bit hard to find because the signage at the parking garage is a bit confusing. Once we found the place boy were we impressed. The restaurant is really nice and quite large with many different areas to sit, have a drink and to either bowl or play bocce. Once you enter the place, your eyes are wandering all over the place because there is so much to just see-art, seating areas, beautiful light fixtures and more. To start off we ordered the hummus appetizer which was so much more than what we expected. The presentation what great and the flavors were on point. It had both hummus and guacamole, what a combination. For our entrees I had the Ribeye and my girlfriend had the flatbread. Both dishes were very good. Since we got there rather early we were able to take advantage of their happy hour prices. Interestingly enough the appetizer was actually a large portion and the drinks were great. Highly recommend you take advantage of the offer. By the way, I forgot to mention they also have outside dining options which happen to be really nice. Our server was Paul and he was really enthusiastic, very helpful with the menu and offering other suggestions. We will definitely be back. Went for Bocce ball on a Monday night and it was a great time! For bocce ball it's only $7 per person per hour, so it's much less expensive than their bowling options. It was not crowded at all and they had a happy hour menu for drinks and appetizers which was nice. We ordered a few drinks, Buffalo cauliflower, 2 kids meals and a salad with grilled chicken. The cauliflower was too spicy for me, but everything else was tasty enough. The star of the meal was a seasonal risotto with all kinds of vegetables like roasted acorn squash, kalamata olives and roasted red peppers and a really lovely fresh pesto. It's nice that they added some healthier gluten-free options to the menu like this dish. It was something that you would expect to get in the very fancy restaurant taste wise. I've wanted to come here since it opened in late-2019, but due to excessive travel (remember that) and the pandemic, it just wasn't an option in 2020. Now I spend my evenings deciding where to order take out from different local spots in Norwalk/Wilton/Westport. Trying something new requires a bit of a risk, and I always want to pick the best option. When I saw that Pinstripes is currently (January 21) offering a 1/2 off specials, I was ready to try a few dishes. They've made online ordering super easy, and you don't have to deal with any of those third party food apps (score). Just make sure you reach the order minimum; otherwise, delivery can be as much as your food. With two meals, I quickly hit the minimum, and after ordering, I was about an hour away from trying some new food. My delivery was coordinated on the back end through DoorDash, but it was a bit delayed. Delivery communication could slightly be improved between Pinstripes and DoorDash, but it's not a dealbreaker. When my food came, it was neatly put together and thoughtfully packaged. However, the food was a bit too cold, and both the chicken parm and the pizza needed to be warmed. After a quick re-heat, the food was ready and was impressive. The chicken parm is fresh and top-quality. I have to say, it even looked like the pasta was homemade - nice touch. It didn't come with much sauce, but thankfully I ordered extra on the side (I'll have to remember this for the future). The portion was also huge. I can get two-three more meals out of this one dish. Now for the BBQ Chicken pizza, it contains unique ingredients that were perfectly put together and made up a memorable pie you will want to order again and again. I had heard the food here was good, but everything exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend and I have gone to SoNo Collection a handful of times (we are from Westchester, NY) and each time Pinstripes has caught our eye. Two days ago, was the first time we decided to go in and see what it was all about. First thing we did, was ask about bowling, but it was a Saturday and all their lanes get pre-booked during the week. So we decided just to sit and eat. Knowing that it was a bowling place, we had little hopes for the food and drinks.... but we were wrong. The food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING! My boyfriend had the burger with an egg on top and the Moscow Mule for drink. I had the Margarita flatbread pizza, with a side of risotto and their Blackberry Basil (non-alcoholic) drink. My boyfriend was very impressed by the condiments as well. He said the honey mustard and ketchup tasted like they were homemade and fresh. So if you are big on more fresh cooking, then frozen and processed, this is the place for you. We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing service and how quickly we were served from ordering to eating. While we were there, they were having a party in their party room (yes it looked like they were following COVID procedures) and it looks great in there as well! Due to their open kitchen, we were able to see all the food that was going on and out of the party room and could hear the music the DJ was playing (we loved it!). Also, the decor and ambiance is not what you would expect from a place that looks like the cater to just kids and party's. The decor was sleek and clean, while flowers where the majority of the back drop. We loved our food and our time here. In response to Pinstripes... That's not true, you didn't credit 3 people as you've stated. You gave me a credit for 2 guests where a credit was due, since I already had a credit from an equally bad experience in the past. A free carafe of sangria, you hesitantly gave us since I almost had to beg you for it (that was the least you could do) but instead you left to the bar to see if they even make it, and never came back. You only came back after our server reached out to you and the only reason was to negotiate with me whether to give me 1 or 2 sangrias. As far as the tip, there was definitely no good will on your part. Once again it was dishonesty. I had to call you back from home when I noticed I was even overcharged there too. The receipt said 20% tip but you charged me 28%. Honesty is the best policy and unfortunately this is not the case here. read more
