The wait staff that helped us seemed distracted, she didn't offer us water, had to ask her for the complimentary bread and she didn't bring it with the oil, salt and pepper that they usually bring had to ask her for that also, and the pepper flakes also missing, also had to ask for the park cheese, she brought one empty. When they brought the pasta, it was clearly for sharing and she didn't provide a spoon. I have been here many times and this is the first time that I have experienced this. Terrible service I went there with some friends Andy friend had called before going there that we wanted to eat out doors and they said that they had an outdoor area when we got there to the outdoor area there was a lady who decided to close the area because she said it was hot and that the ac was better, despite we telling her that we didn't want her to close the area she dismissed our request and decided to proceed. After that we order pizza with basil and they forgot to put the basil . So they brought the basil uncooked separately . I used to go to this restaurant before the pandemic many times. And we were always pleased with the service after the pandemic I don't know what happen. But this place is not the same anymore no quality service and no quality food. We started out with the meatball appetizers and they were really good . Just the right amount of cheese and sauce . Excellent pizza! Vegetarians rejoice :) We had the funghi misti and it was perfect for my mushroom lover husband. We also had the ortomisto and it was loaded with lots of different vegetables. Wow, this place is a franchise, but OMG is the food good!!! We came here on a recommendation from a work colleague and really was surprised about the quality and taste of the meal. We started with the burratta and prosciutto app and it was fantastic. The Prosciutto was thinly sliced and melted in your mouth! My kids shared a cheese pizza and the wife and I shared a pizza with Carpaccio (I forget the cute name they used). Both were really good, they have super thin and crispy crust (be warned) but I love it! We finished the meal with the chocolate cake and it was gone in 5 minutes even though "nobody wanted desert". It arrived less than ten mins later, thin, perfectly cooked, with the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce. I recommend adding the cheese that's on the table to each slice. It makes the taste pop. I hope more people come here so that this place doesn't fall victim to closing down thanks to the ridiculous rent prices Terranova have monopolied in this plaza. The pizza's are all 12 inches. They have over 40 different topping choices, so they'll have what you're looking for. All the pizza's are wood fired thin crust. They taste better than they look to be honest. It's cut into four ginormous slices, but you can finish it all with a friend and a decent hunger factor. Appetizers are hella expensive. Whether it's worth it or not is up to your taste buds. Our Shrimp and Avocado featured a wonderful cocktail sauce that U wanted to bottle and take home with me. And it was the best avocado I've had in a long time. On the dessert menu, there is a Nutella/Strawberry Pizza. Enough said... But the Tiramisu is excellent too for the fans of traditional Italian dessert. Please come visit this place if you're in the area, as the experience is totally worth it. From Monday to Friday, ALL pizzas are $6 from 4-5 P.M. and $7 from 5-6 P.M. I used to go to the Piola in Brickell for many years, especially for lunch since I worked within walking distance. I was so glad to see that they were opening up another one in the Pinecrest area! I stopped by for dinner with my family and I really liked the location and how it was decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and so was the server. We tried the flavored caipirinha but they were really thick and had to add water to them so that wasn't great. We ordered the Hawaiian, classic, and calzone. Everything was great and served quickly. Walked in for lunch expecting to find lunch specials and was disappointed to find out they had none. The pizzas were delicious and beautifully presented mine just wasn't practical. As beautiful as it was it made no sense. My mother had the margherita pizza and I had the Italia pizza. The Italia comes with chopped tomatoes, arugula and ricotta but instead of spreading it all over the pizza they put it in three rows so you have to mix it yourself. That put a little bit of a damper on the situation for me because the ricotta was a lumped up in the middle of the pizza. Aside from that, the pizzas are delicious, made with an extra thin crust with just the right amount of crunch just how I like it. Can't wait to come back for their Monday through Thursday specials when they have $6 pizzas for an hour I believe 3 - 4 but don't quote me on that. Then next hour all pizzas are $7 then next hour $8. Came in for their All You Can Eat Gnocchi day for $15.95 which is every 29th of the month. My boyfriend and I were worried we had come a little too late since we arrived 40 minutes before closing but were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant bustling and a table easily available for us. Our server Juano was fantastic and very attentive throughout our whole meal. The way they do the gnocchi special is by giving you an empty plate and as its freshly prepared by the kitchen they have servers come around the table to serve you a spoonful or two. This ensures that you get to try all of their wonderful sauce combinations that varied between creamy and tomato bases. The actual gnocchi was delicious and very well prepared----my favorites were the prosciutto rosemary cream sauce and the chicken broccoli cheese! I checked out this place today with my husband, son and a family friend for a "light" dinner. It's a small little place next to Flanagan's that I've somehow always over looked (I'm so sorry). The ambiance is really nice. When you first walk in there is bar seating, booths and tables in the back. Our server was super friendly. I wish i could remember his name. I feel like he really made the experience for us. He didn't seem to mind our rambunctious 2 year old jumping around and playing near our booth. None of the other people dining in seemed to mind either so that was really awesome. The pizza was DELICIOUS. We got a margarita pizza and the ortomisto pizza (eggplant, spinach, peppers, broccoli and tomatoes). That was the first time I've had eggplant or broccoli on pizza and I definitely would eat that again. Super yum! You also get free bread before your meal. And they place a large container-thing? Horrible experience - I ate cold pizza - 1.5hr later - for delivery ...but I had to go pick it up myself. And of course, according to Piola's personnel, it's my fault for "ordering through the computer". What a shame. I ordered for delivery online at 8.40pm - after an hour I called the restaurant (at 9.40pm) - they told me "this will be ready in 15 mins". I called again at 10pm - they said "will be ready in 5 minutes" - I then drove there (at this point I don't believe they'll even deliver the pizza properly). As I complained for the 1.5hr wait (and no delivery) I was told "the problem is that you ordered through the computer" (...so basically it's my fault). What a horrible experience.
