Guests are free to come and go as they please and there is no lengthy check-in process, which is really nice after nearly a week. We felt at home immediately and have shared many pictures with friends and family, who were impressed. This guest house is appropriate for a couple; we found it to be very romantic and private. Mary, the homeowner, who lives on the property was so kind and hospitable. She even came over to meet us and offered more wonderful German pastries for breakfast the second morning. She also provided fruit, milk, dry cereals, coffee and tea. The guest house is beautiful and so quaint with wonderful primitive antiques, but yet very comfortable. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The front porch is wonderful for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with great wicker rocking chairs. The house is only about four to five minutes from town, but you have a feeling of being in the country even though it is close to the main road. If you bring your pet, DO bring a leash, as it is not fenced in. Wonderful stay! Could not have asked for more. The bathroom lights flickered downstairs, the bathrooms had numerous moths or some type of flying winged insect in them, one downstair's bathroom had a wet floor by the toilet which may have been from a leaky toilet or pipes under the floor. The numerous flying insects were to me an indication that there was something wrong underneath the surface. The flying insects were seen day and night.
