This spot is attached to a gorgeous hotel and spa and has such a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Apparently, it use to be a hospital and something else like a boutique at one point. I loved the simple elegance of the decor and the beautiful natural lighting with lots of long and short tables attached along a large bench to sit at and enjoy your coffee and food. I ended up with a cold foam pumpkin cold brew and a veggie taco overloaded with eggs and veg. Both were just perfection. The prices are pretty decent for being on Main street and the employees were very kind. I sat here almost half the day enjoying a good book and people watching. I noticed several furrbabies coming and going, and lots of friendly customers who would discuss their cuties and get little treats from the staff. It was a very enjoyable and peaceful experience, and I hope to come back and try some of their other tacos and treats soon.

Cute spot for coffee and a sweet treat in a wonderful historic building. Lots of options for drinks - including wine. Only ordered an amazing Americano and skipped the tasty looking treats. Lots of seating available and merch for purchase. Very friendly staff and they were very efficient with getting orders out.

The Pecan Cream Cold Brew was phenomenal! Subtle, sweet, and tasty. There was no line placed our order at the counter and added a few sweet pastries that were decadent and oh so flavorful. There was plenty of seating, nice music playing very relaxing on a Cold day in Fredericksburg.

Consider me cured of longing for perfected pastries and bevvy pairings. Ingrid served my new official favorite (okay, for Fredericksburg) iced Mocha - loved it so much I returned later for the main event: a giant cinnamon roll dripping with decadent cream cheese frosting (not too sweet, JUST RIGHT) and very fresh and crunchy Texas pecans. Pairs nicely with London Fog - a rich Earl Gray gently sweetened with vanilla. Vanessa (adorable) tells me these otherworldly délectables are the handiwork of Quacks chef, a quick jaunt over to Austin for more on your tour de cuisine!

Very comfortable and cool place to take a break from walking outside in the heat. Server behind the counter was very nice and gave good options to select from.

    Iced Lavender Matcha Latte

Such a lovely little cafe! The matcha and coffee were delicious! If you prefer a sweeter matcha/coffee, they offer a corner where you can adjust the taste with honey or sweet syrup. Super convenient for people who dislike going up to baristas to fix their drinks. The sausage biscuits were too tasty that I forgot to take a picture before eating them up. Definitely a go-to spot if you're looking for a cute cafe to enjoy a sweet or savory treat.

The Neptune was hands down one of the best omelets I've ever had, and the Southern Slammer was exactly what I expected (and more--those green onions really enhanced the grits). Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for breakfast.

While in town for our anniversary, the wife and I decided to grab breakfast. Looking for a quaint,…read morenon chain restaurant, I I resorted to ChatGPT. ChatGPT raved about Sunset Grill, so we hopped in the car and zoomed down. Upon arriving, we walked into the cramped restaurant, and we were greeted by a nice hostess. She put our name on a list, and we had a brief 5-10 minute wait before we were seated. We were handed menus and left to peruse the menu. After a brief wait, we were greeted by our waiter and he took our drinks. In good time the waiter was back with drinks and he took our order. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette. It came with potatoes and toast. The wife ordered the plate with eggs over easy, crispy bacon, and potatoes. The wife and I sat and had a nice visit. We should not have drank our drinks so fast, as they stayed empty the entire time we visited. Our waiter not once made eye contact so we could get a refill either. After an average wait time, our food came. Our waiter noticed the drinks and then refilled them. My omelette was undercooked and watery, the cheese was not melted, and the bacon was chewy. Furthermore, the toast was also very dry. I would have gotten butter to put on them, but the waiter never came back to check on us. The wife's eggs were cooked over hard, the bacon was rubbery, and very underwhelming. Our drinks went empty and we never got refills, again. We paid the bill and went shopping. I was glad to get out of there. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but I think they missed the mark here. ChatGPT did me dirty on this one. I don't know if they just were having a bad day, or what the deal was, but this was a one and done for me. I cannot say I recommend this one. I was very disappointed.

The service was speedy and very welcoming. Everyone had smiles on their faces even though they had quite the line in the drive through going and inside. My only issue....it was hard to back out once parked. If you know what you want it's best to do drive through so you won't get trapped by the line that cuts through the parking lot. Overall, I enjoyed it and plan to come back for their lavender latte and some kolaches.

Portions are big. Donuts are soft and sweet. The apple fritter looks like a flattened softball in a good way. I got maple and cake donuts with a large German kolache (don't judge me). The sausage was savory, cheesy, and the buttery breading was so soft you could tear it away with minimal effort. Perfect. Not over baked and not hard. Wife had a Ham croissant that was alright. I noticed no crumbs left behind. I'm betting this place is family owned. The employees were shuffling to fill orders and they kept the car line moving. They thanked us with smiles as we exited. Great breakfast experience! I'd happily come here again next time I'm in Fredericksburg.
