We were looking to replace our 28-year-old, builder-grade siding that was showing signs of water…read moreretention. After getting four quotes, I came to realize that each company pretty much has one type of siding they recommend and install. For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

Inferior Product Installed…read more I needed new windows for a remodel I am doing in my daughter's condo. I contacted Superior Industries for one of three quotes I received. Mike came to respresent Superior. Mike and I discussed in detail about the color of the windows. I probably told Mike at least a dozen times "I need brown windows," "The windows must be brown." Not once did Mike speak up to tell me the windows he had in mind would be white inside. I fully expected the windows to be brown inside and out. Mike emailed me a work order where he added "white inside" to the description of the windows. I didn't notice this detail in the work order, but at the same time, I did not approve or sign-off on this work order. I approved the install solely on the promise of brown windows at a quoted price of $11,262. What business person would believe that simply sending out a work order, with no sign-off by the customer, indicates acceptance by the customer? The windows Superior installed are much cheaper windows than all-brown windows would have been. I accepted their quote believing I would get all brown windows. Quotes from the other vendors indicate brown and white windows sell for three to four thousand dollars less than all brown windows. I overpaid by three to four thousand dollars! I entered into agreement with Superior in good faith. I did not get respect or good faith in return. Instead, I got an inferior product where a much better product was promised. I will never do business with this company again. Update to Mike's response: What contract? A contract is a document where both parties sign-off agreeing to the terms of the contract. My signature does not appear on any such document. The email Mike references approves only the quote based on a promise of seven brown windows. I never approved the work order via email. I challenge Mike to post here any proof that I signed-off or otherwise approved the terms of his "work order."

The overall experience with Rise Renovation…read morehas been wonderful and I've appreciated the excellent customer service I have received along the way! Matt (the co-owner) always did his best to make sure everything was taken care of and smooth, and my window installers Manny and Antonio did an unbelievably perfect job & I couldn't be more excited! I'm so glad I went with Rise Renovation for these amazing, high quality windows!

Good product and good customer service but horrible execution. Originally I scheduled 3 days of PTO…read moreto get my attic insulation redone and replace all 10 of my windows. So far here is why I'm giving them a 1 star. (and what really pisses me off... 8 days of PTO so far, like I enjoy wasting half a year of PTO for this garbage) 1. Original paperwork said my attic would be done 1013... took that to mean October 13th... Nope, they fat fingered it and mean 10/31. SO thats a wasted PTO day of me sitting around thinking someone was going to show. 2. They sub contract out everything, I have yet to see a single van with 'rise renovation' on it which is a negative for me, if I wanted sub contractors I would of just gone to them directly to save myself some money. 3. They waited till the DAY OF installation to check to see if all of the windows arrived... surprise, they hadn't. They installed the ones they had and rescheduled for the last two... originally 2 days for the windows now slotted for 4 days. 4. The attic insulation guys were polite and efficient and showed up on day #3... however.. they stepped off the beams in the attic and directly onto my ceiling.. queue an 8 ft long crack that I then had to take another day off. Customer service was pretty quick getting back to me and sending someone out to get it fixed at least. (total PTO days scheduled = 6) 5. This one is kinda on me for not checking after I found the 8 foot crack from them stepping off, but I found a foot sized hole in the spare bedroom closet.... lots I can say about that but come on, you know when you put a foot through the ceiling. Just let the home owner know so they can get it fixed, its not like I won't eventually find a FOOT SIZED HOLE in the ceiling. Queue customer service again... ( total PTO days scheduled = 8) 6. Day for them to come and fix my foot sized hole in the ceiling and I get a no call no show... Still an on-going issue as of November 17th.

One of their estimators, Chad, came out nearly a month ago. He did his measurements, he gave us a bid (around 11K) and we accepted the bid. We jumped through a hundred hoops to secure the financing from the gutter finance company they use, but we finally got that done. I sweated a bucket to get this ready to go, and it's been nearly a month now. Chad came out today and informed us that oops, I made a little goof, and we want $4500.00 MORE to do your job. I was absolutely...crushed. There are ONLY 2 options for how this happened: (1) Bellwether is a bunch of crooks. In an industry rife with high-pressure clowns who are known to do damn-near anything to steal more from consumers, only a moron would not accept the possibility that Bellwether fits into this category. The ONLY other possibility is (2) Gross Incompetence. Chad told me he recalculated his bid for 900 s.f. of siding at TWO squares, when in fact it would take NINE squares. That's a substantial oops... Their Director of Sales guy called with a song and dance about an "honest mistake", but apparently their "honor" only goes so far, he offered to eat just half of their 100% mistake. NO DEAL. So, you've been warned. This process wasted a MONTH of my time and energy, with a minor ding to my credit rating because of an inquiry from their shoddy finance company. If you like the idea of wasting your time and getting the run-around, give these jokers a whirl. Just don't say you weren't warned.
