That night the temp got to -5 degrees, so in the morning when I attempted to start our ambulance it wouldn't start, only crank and crank. I tried everything I could but was limited to what I could try. I called several shops, even the FORD dealership nearby and no one would help (holiday's). Jay's Diesel was the only one that offered advice on the issue. My diesel fuel had gelled and needed to melt on its own. Jay's offered to tow my ambulance to their temp controlled shop while we the fuel melted. In the end, Jay's sent over his son to see if he can assist on starting our ambulance. He met me in the hotel parking lot with a can of starting fluid that he bought on out of his own pocket and started my ambulance right up. Family and I are forever grateful! I called the tow shop up and they pick me & my 24" car trailer up with-in 30 minutes. I live almost 1,200 miles away in Springfield Nebraska. So I had to leave my truck with them to have a transmission put into it. They got the job done in less then a week. I rented a U-Haul van to pull my trailer back home with the wife at my side. I drove back down to get my truck with a friend by using a Enterprise one way rental car. My truck ran fantastic all the way back home the 1,200 miles. I even think it got better fuel mileage on the way back. So today I ordered them Pizza for lunch, I hope they like Domino's Pizza because Lotsa Motsa wasn't open.
