We are attempting to get a first mate wash and the lady was trying to upsell us to a package conveniently not even listed. She threatened us that if we didn't upgrade the package that it would not be properly vacuumed. We don't have any cakes on dirt or stains whatsoever to speak of. I think they are very proficient at what they give you for what they charge. I mean what you go through weekly to keep your car as clean as they do for a minimal monthly fee. Soaking wet from car wash water or soaked from sweating from the heat and humidity. I have never really had what I would call bad truck wash here and I seldom have a complaint. Pirates Cove car washes are never great, it's sub par and I always have to re-vacuum and re-wipe my car but it at least gives me a $40 head start. This time though not even the exterior wash was good! I came home and did my usual re-wipe and vacuum and then had to wash the whole truck over again. This place used to provide excellent service for a reasonable price. The service has dropped off considerably over the past 3 years and today it's the longest wait for a regular car wash. I have been waiting for an hour and no service people to be seen. Cars are stacked up and the wash was stopped because there are no place to take the cars once ran thru the washer. The job that is done is rushed and honestly barely touched as i have the First Mate Unlimited package. I suspended my monthly membership here and will try other local car washes in the area. I remembered coming here for the first time, they did an immaculate job on my car, the 2nd time it was ok (could've been better) the 3rd time was the worst, I came when they had the half off special. I paid for a vacuum inside the car, wheel clean along with the works (excluding the full detailing which wasn't required for my car). I was not expecting to get a quarter of the work requested. When I ask the attendee why isn't my wheels were clean she acted like I asked for money!! I felt robbed!! I had to call the place but it didn't help, I had to call more than once. The only reason I stayed was my car needed a good wash and I had one of the coupons. I payed for it and was waiting for my car to finish for an hour! I got the leather one where they detail the leather inside the car and when I got in it was, sticky, and still dirty. Not sure if this is a new method, but how do you wax over dirt, see pics. No attention to detail as see in pics, trash and dirt still inside car on seats and carpet. I call again after 7 hours, oh it has been ready for 3 hours but I could not find your number to call. Today was the worse service I have ever had. With the competition as high as it is in kingwood they should be more attentive to their customers. It took 1 hour and 15 min to get my first mate wash. The car was dry and spotted by the time someone began to wipe it down. There are still bugs on my window. They didn't wipe down the console inside and I did not get my air freshener. Good customer service BUT.... they did a horrible job today. Very disappointed. Paid for the "first mate" car wash, the outside of the car looked great! The inside? Well there was no "scent" left (there's supposed to be an optional scent for the car) and my back seat still had an apple juice cup on the ground from one of my kids they didn't pick up, the worker left his water-bottle in the back as well.
