    Large Pepperoni!

Cooked as requested and tasted good but Pepperoni little greasy! Delivery driver was awesome! He gets 5 stars!

    A Stromboli bleeding out!

I support small business, but if you cant make it in this economy and you choose to go with cheap ingredients and lower quality products, then - either raise your prices or just close. Piscataway Pizza - aka "Restaurant Depot" to go. The large pie, not like any pizza I ever ate before! The pizza sauce must be out of a 1 gallon can, so off putting just because it's so Blood RED & sweet. We also ordered the Supreme Stromboli, and i can only surmise they ran it through the dish washer to freshen it up before delivery - can't even identify its ingredients & the doz. Zeppolli - fried pizza doe with powdered sugar - does not a Zeppolli make! I spent over $60... and we're eating PBJs for dinner . Done with Pway Pizza, and all the township pizza shops! Cheap ingredients, labor & poor quality is a recipe for disaster. EVEN THE DOG DIDN'T WANT IT !

    Oily lasagna

Completely dissatisfied with this order. I ordered a Sicilian slice of pizza, tiramisu, and lasagna. They sent me a hard old slice of cheese pizza which was disgusting. The tiramisu slice was OLD AND HARD, tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for days, not to mention how small the slice was and I paid 5 something for it. And the lasagna was swimming in oil. First and LAST time I will be ordering from this place. Paid almost 30 dollars for this order. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I will be waiting for my refund from Uber Eats.

Garlic knots, chicken bacon ranch (left), chicken parm (right)

It's a sad day when you come to a pizza place and your Mountain Dew is the best part of your meal. I've never had such bland pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots smelled super enticing, but were doughy and extremely lacking in garlic flavor. We got two slices of pizza: chicken parm and chicken bacon ranch. Maybe it was because we got there around 8:45 pm, but there was only one tiny slice of chicken bacon ranch left and it tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The chicken parm slice was huge like the other reviews said, and the cheese was gooey, but it was utterly flavorless even after adding the spices on the side. The staff was friendly, but it was poor consolation for the terrible food. Never coming back here again unless it's while drunk.

Ordered a plain pie via DoorDash. Took forever probably because they were busy over cooking my pizza. I'm honestly not very picky but this has to be the WORST pizza I've ever had in NJ and I've lived here my whole life. The crust is super chewy, the sauce tastes like either straight up tomato paste or canned Pizza sauce, and the cheese is similar to plastic. The only pizza I can even compare this to is the 1$ frozen Celeste pizza. Can't speak for their other food options, but as a pizzeria, the pizza is not worth it.

Garlic bread with cheese. I died.

We were a party of 8 and ordered from the family style menu (5 appetizers, salad, 2 pastas, 1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 fish, dessert). It was clear they were severely understaffed, and we were largely ignored until one of them finally said, "I will check on your table." The food was okay. The bread? Their stock answer was humorous after hearing it recites by all three servers: "It's in the oven" I guess practice makes perfect. Standard salad with balsamic, same as every mid pizza/food place I have been before. Red snapper special was way tough on the outside, like chewing leather that you never would really want to eat?! Best thing here was the pork chop, sweet spicy peppers, with onions yummy brown sauce, although the pork was a tad overdone. Overall, this place is a pass.

The strip mall itself isn't anything special, but the surrounding area is beautiful , and once you're inside, the restaurant feels warm and inviting. The food is fantastic, and the variety on the menu is impressive. The chef clearly knows what they're doing because every single dish we tried was genuinely delicious. It's the kind of spot where you can't go wrong: date night, dinner with friends, or anything in between. We brought our own bottle and had a great time. Our waiter was super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The staff even joked around with me when I forgot my to‑go bag, and yes, I absolutely took it home because the food is that good. I also appreciate that they don't act like offering takeout is beneath them; even the takeout bag was nice. I honestly wish my meals were this good every night. I hope everyone who works here is paid well and enjoys what they do, because they're running the place exactly how a restaurant should be run. It feels like a true community staple somewhere that transports you a bit and makes the whole experience feel special. Lovely all around.

Luca's Ristorante is a hidden gem that proves you should never judge a restaurant by its parking lot. Not long after we were seated, we were greeted by Luca -- a Luca and not the Luca. Still he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant, taking the time to walk us through the menu and checking in throughout the meal without ever hovering. Luca's has a partial liquor license, offering a modest wine selection but is otherwise being BYOB. As we were told with a smile, they're much more interested in what's ON your plate than what's IN your glass. We started with two excellent appetizers. The arancini, already a family favorite, were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and disappeared from the table faster than anyone was willing to admit. The Polpette, Luca's signature meatballs with pine nuts and raisins, certainly earned the praise they've received from NJ.com as some of the best in the state. Even if raisins in meatballs sound unusual, trust the process. The restaurant proudly calls itself "A Taste of Ischia," the beautiful volcanic island in the Bay of Naples, and the seafood absolutely lives up to that promise. My squid ink pasta with octopus (the Polypus) was outstanding, with perfectly tender octopus and beautifully balanced flavors. The scallops were buttery, sweet, and cooked to perfection, while the Ischia -- loaded with mussels, clams, and calamari -- was every seafood lover's dream. The rest of the menu proved just as impressive. The Pappardelle, featuring burrata and a rich Bolognese sauce, was a huge hit, while the Romolo, a comforting combination of chicken, pasta, bacon, and sauce, was another winner that had no leftovers to speak of. If you somehow still have room after dinner, Luca's offers a nice assortment of gelato. But do yourself one favor: don't leave without ordering a cappuccino. Rich, foamy, and expertly made, it's the perfect finale to a memorable meal. If you find yourself in Somerset, just a few turns off Routes 287 or 1, make the stop. You'll be greeted by a wonderful staff, treated to outstanding food, and very likely leave wondering how a restaurant this good has been hiding in a strip mall all along.

There were a few challenges with getting a wrong dish and having an extra dessert on the bill. When the extra item was found on the bill there was a bit of a dispute and back and forth but they fixed it in the end. The wrong dish was a compromise on our party's part, one of our friends accepted the plate even though it was not what she ordered, there was no move to fix it on the restaurant's part. As far as the food, it was not my top Italian choice in the area, especially when factoring in price. I felt the food was not as flavorful as some of the competitors nearby, especially the appetizers.

We were brought downstairs to a large room full of tables and were the only ones in there. We wondered if we'd insulted someone, or if one of us might be 'offensive', (no one was) but as it turns out, it was a 'Godsend'. We're all in our 70's and hearing/speaking can be challenging in a crowded/noisy dining room. We remained the only ones there for almost the entire 2 hours we were there and really enjoyed ourselves without having to yell or ask "WHAT!?" We shared a couple of salads (Greek and Arugula) and calamari, all very good. My wife had the seafood capellini and one sister the seafood fra diavolo, which they both enjoyed. My other sister had a seafood salad and my BIL went for the double cut pork chops, which he too enjoyed. I opted for the Halibut / risotto. Halibut is not an easy fish to make 'moist or juicy'. I make it at home and it comes out 'pretty good' (at least my wife says so) but here, this portion was fantastic! So light an flaky and tasty. Definitely give it a try if you enjoy Halibut. We all shared a couple of desserts... a home made carrot cake and a chocolate cake from 'outside'. Both good, but the carrot cake was served warm, which was a first for all of us... and it was terrific! Without a doubt the best carrot cake we'd ever had, so save a little room for their carrot cake if/when go. Our servers, Alyssa and Dagmar provided excellent service as well as some humorous dialogue while we were there. Made our meal just that much better!. Yes... it's a BYOB!
