The store is tucked into the industrial neighborhood behind the Barlow in Sebastopol and I initially had difficulty finding it. Happily, when I called the listed number, I was quickly greeted and given directions. I was only one driveway over. Nancy was there to greet me as soon as I stepped inside and, despite the weathered signage on the outside of the building, the interior of the store was welcoming. She offered me a sample of the massage oil I was considering and gave me a pump top as well. I also stopped in for a bolster and was shown several options. She mentioned that they had additional colors available as well, but I was happy with the options on display. In addition to carrying a variety of mediums in different sizes, there were massage tables on display and some massage tools as well. Lots of candles and soaps as well. While I'm sure you can probably find cheaper prices online, I always prefer to purchase directly from the business when I can and I appreciate the face to face interaction and service. I have tried to contact Pisces Productions multiple times to request a specific part--the headrest for my massage table, which is broken--and have yet to receive a response by any means: neither by email nor by direct message. This part is essential for me to continue working, and the fact that only you manufacture it makes this lack of response even more frustrating. Beware - Overpriced, Uncomfortable Product & Ruthless Owner After reading the description of the New Wave II Lite table, I chose the ultra leather cover because the website claims it is the lightest table with the most comfort, even boasting: "And your clients will love the added comfort from our innovative woven web top." Trusting this description, I made a $1,043 investment, excited to finally purchase a Pisces massage table. Reality vs. Expectation When the table arrived, I immediately tested it--only to feel like I was lying on a wooden board. There was zero comfort, making it completely unsuitable for a relaxing massage experience. The face cradle and carrying bag were just as disappointing--cheaply made and flimsy, with the bag looking like it would fall apart quickly. Given that the company only offers a one-year warranty on accessories (far below industry standards), I decided to return the table. Nightmare Customer Service This is where things went from bad to worse. The first table Nancy sent me was defective--one of the four legs was shorter than the others. Instead of taking immediate responsibility, she insisted it was impossible until I sent her video and photo evidence. Only then did she reluctantly agree to send a new table--but with zero compassion for the inconvenience her mistake caused me. * Financially, I lost money while waiting for the correct table because I couldn't work. * Physically, I had to carry and transport the defective table to FedEx myself. * Nancy even dismissed the issue, saying she should have just sent me a replacement leg instead of an entire new table--completely disregarding the inconvenience and frustration she caused. The Refund Battle After receiving the second table and deciding to return it, I paid $218 out of pocket for return shipping. On top of that, Nancy deducted $94 from my refund. Once she received the table, she then delayed my refund unfairly. First, she claimed she needed three days to inspect the table. By day four, when I followed up, she suddenly claimed the table had holes--an absurd accusation. I had never used the table, only opened it in the evening and returned it the next morning. Despite explaining this multiple times, she refused to issue my refund--until I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Miraculously, within hours of the BBB contacting her, my refund was processed. Final Warning to Consumers Nancy will boast about her so-called high-quality products and years in business, but the truth is her products are uncomfortable, cheaply made, and not worth the price. Worse, she takes no responsibility when issues arise, and getting a refund is a nightmare. If you value customer service, product quality, and ethical business practices, stay far away from this company. Save your time, money, and energy by purchasing from a reputable brand. read more

Given the number and the size of orders that Nancy (the owner) has to manage, including tables for multiple Red Cross chapters, it's remarkable that she can devote any time at all to a simple customer who walks in the front door unannounced. And yet, when I stopped in at the showroom to inquire about having my 35-year-old Pisces massage table reupholstered, she treated me as if I were one of her biggest accounts. And not just during one visit, but during several while I was trying to choose which fabric and which color I wanted. I graduated from massage college in 2011 and trained on a number of massage tables all from the same manufacturer, Earthlite. I also bought one from that manufacturer through my college. It is beautiful, made of wood and strong, but quite heavy. Carrying that Earthlite table on my shoulder became painful so I looked for some kind of trolley or cart made just for massage tables. That is when I found Pisces Productions in nearby Sebastopol. A classmate had mentioned that Pisces Productions produces THE BEST massage chair available . . . and I like very nice things and equipment. So, I made it a point to go to Pisces at my earliest convenience. That is when I spotted their hand built massage table Cart. It looks like a cross between a skinny luggage-cart and an industrial hand-truck. It is built with very strong tubular aluminum alloy, hand-welded, two locking-straps, and urethane wheels. I bought it immediately. Then, I came back and bought their world famous Dolphin II Portable Massage Chair. It truly is by far the best massage chair available. It has many different position adjustments, super strong, comfortable, very light; and on top of all that, you get to choose your surface material and/or colors. I special ordered a unique "ostrich" leather-like covering in two different colors---ostrich gray and ostrich light-blue. I chose the areas of the chair to receive one color or the other, and voila! The chair is a beautiful piece of construction . . . looks like a work of art work. I loved the chair so much, I decided to buy their New Wave II Lite Massage Table too. I also used the same unique "ostrich" two-tone coverings. They said it was the nicest table they have made. I got all the accessories in the same matching materials. The New Wave II is a full one-third less weight than my Earthlite, so carrying the New Wave II is much easier. Plus, I have the massage cart I bought from Pisces if I need it for either table when longer walking to client sites is required. Everything is hand built, welded, painted, sewn, stitched, and assembled in-house, right there in a locally owned business. What could be better than that?! Pisces' shop/warehouse is connected to their retail store. The owner, Nancy, took me back to meet some of the workers---there are many---who were involved in making my Dolphin II chair and New Wave II table. Pisces' retail store manager/associate, Rachael, is always smiling and friendly. She can demo the chairs, the tables, and knows her product line very well. She made all my purchases fun, and I enjoy seeing her whenever I return for massage gels and supplies. I first thought to give Pisces Productions 4 1/2 stars only because the retail room is a little plain and could be more upscale commensurate with their equipment. Our first introduction to Pisces Production was with the Dolphin massage chairs that was recommended by another massage therapist. We loved the chair. They're well made, sturdy, and the clients comment frequently about the comfort of the chair. So, we purchased 9 more for our convention work! After many years of using another brand of table that was pretty heavy and bulky, we decided to try out the Pisces massage table. Buyers beware!!! All sounds good when they are selling over the phone. Untill you get the product and you need to end a clients massage. The table was/is so uncomfortable that they can't lay on it anymore. Very pricey for what you are getting. Table at sams club was way more comfortable then this (250) out the door. I have been doing massage for 18 years and never thought a company would be so rude. Oh its free shipping ; untill you return and need to pay 100.00 to get it back to the company. Oh then because i didnt keep table i had to pay for shipping both ways (200). You don't find out untill you receive table with return policy typed up in box. I also got charged for t spheres that were free with package. I didnt keep table so instead of free they made me pay. Crooks!!!! I find a tennis ball to work better. She never mentioned shipping ; if you need to return. I specifically told the lady over the phone; as much padding as possible. I want this table to be very comfortable for my clients. My client said she felt like she was laying on bricks. It was horrible. I only got it because of the 23 lbs. I have 2 other tables but; they are 30-45 lbs. Oakworks and earthlite stick with the well known tables like these. The off brands like pisces production are no good. I talked with the manager /owner Nancy the only thing she would do is have me ship it back for 100 and they would add some padding. They were suppose to have extra padding. They should have paid for shipping ; they made mess of not putting extra padding. If there product is so good and they wanted to keep a coustomer! Hey if it wasn't to my clients liking i would be stuck with shipping 4x's. 400.00( 2 ×'s to me 2 x's to them). Trust me stick with Oakworks or earthlite they guarantee there products and don't charge 100 for shipping each way. Earthlite (luna) is a table 28lbs for 350.00 and its very comfortable because that is the table i bought after returning ...... new wave 11 lite b for 920.00 with shipping. That is what is important to keep your clients happy; comfortable tables. Hey they are on there for 1hour - 2hours may as well buy the best... so best of luck and please don't get ripped off like i did. Dont buy a cheep table like pisces productions... hey i can see coustomer paying for shipping to return but, to stick coustomer with both ways very bad bussiness. I would say sending me a table that is too heavy would be considered a defective product in my opinion. I sent the table back on my own dime and it cost me $150 to send it USPS. The table was 31 pounds and I sent a picture of it on a scale from a fitness center, and they sent me a picture on their scale that said it was 26 pounds. I have been carrying around the first table I got from them for ten years and I know the difference in weight. I went through the credit card company to dispute the shipping charges which was $75 and they said I lied about the weight. I will just have to write it off as a loss, because it's not going to cover the additional amount I spent shipping it back anyway. The only problem is that Pisces Productions is the big guy and I'm the little guy. They could have taken care of the shipping and I wouldn't have written a bad review. You DON'T take care of your customers! $250 is a lot of money to me! I begged them to cover the shipping and they didn't. read more

i had the most difficult time picking out a new table. i wanted the lightest one possible (carrying the table kills my back) that would not squeak (i hate squeaking) and that was comfortable for my clients. i bought the pisces table and i'm really loving it!!! i've used it a BUNCH since i bought it in march and it hasn't squeaked once! it's super easy to set up and i love how light it is. :-) ooh, and they have amazing customer service. i was tightening the head rest wrong and they responded to my email within hours. :-) read more

I could not wait to give my review. I am actually waiting for my table to arrive back to my hands. I sent it out to get repaired and reupholstered. I just wanted to say that I've never had any issues with my table. All of my clients love my table and considering the small amount of cushion it is still very comfortable. I've owned my table for a little while and it needed a tune up, nothing major. I have an earthlite table too and the quality between the two, you just can't compare. Earthlite feel apart early on and it would leave a mess on my clients floors from the cheap material used to make. I've just started to experience small peelings from my Pisces table but not bad where it's made a mess. I even call my Pisces table my "Rolls Roys" of table. I own 4 massage tables from different manufacturers and the one sold at Costco is awful. Heavy and they use cheap materials to make, no thanks. Anyway, keep up the good work!!! read more

I've been a massage therapist for 16 years. I purchased their traveling massage table 4 years ago and couldn't be happier! I'm 5' tall and 110 lbs - I wanted the lightest massage table I could find because of my build - I do a lot of in-home work. I was apprehensive about paying so much for a table but it's been one of the best investments I've ever made. What's really cool though is I've had several dealings with customer service over the years and without going into specifics, I honestly don't think I've ever dealt with such an AMAZING company. They're super nice and incredibly responsive - I'm blown away at my experiences with these guys - a company that seems to really have it together, so rare these days. I first purchased a table in 2006. I went into a massage supply store with intentions of buying a Earthlite Luna because it was 28lbs (I had been carrying a 35lbs table) the owner of the store said it would not be suitable for Deep Tissue and recommend the Pisces table. He assured me it would last years and hold up to the deep work I do. Once he told me it was 23lbs I was sold! The price was more then I wanted to spend but it is 8 years later and this table is still amazing. My face cradle broke (after 8 years!) I called the company and they were extremely helpful. They sold me a part for $7 instead of the whole base at $55. After carrying around my old school heavy back up table I decided to invest in another Pisces! I looked around but this is the ONLY table that is light in weight and STURDY! I also teach massage and have worked with many tables over the years. I tell my students if you are serious about this career then spend the extra $. They also make the best bag on the market. My favorite massage table by far. I am a massage therapist in LA and do out calls for clients. I've been doing this for almost 10 years now and met Nancy at the vegas spa expo about 5 years ago. I bought a 31" ultra plush table and it's still just as good and reliable as the day I bought it. I remember hearing about this table from other classmates from my school IPSB (Culver city) and they were saying that it was the best. They weren't wrong. I needed something LIGHT and durable to carry around up/down stairs, through small spaces, and easy to put in/out of my car. I've literally have had at least 5 of my friends buy this table and a client of mine too. I have worked on and with astralite, oak works and earthlite tables but I'm still a strong believer and lover of Pisces. I had a problem last year with the face cradle slipping a little and Rachel in customer service rectified it instantly and even called me back to follow up. The product is fully made in the USA (which I'm really proud of) and I know Nancy (owner) is 100% invested and involved in her product. I HIGHLY recommend this product.
