Ceviche popular, aji de gallina and pollo a la brasa.

What a a treat! This place and it's sister location on Orange Blossom Trail just received the USIL's Authenticity Peruvian Food certification! And let me tell you. It doesn't disappoint one bit. To begin, this is the Express version. Like so many other restaurants on the cuisine spectrum, the "express" it's a smaller, fast pace and more convenient version in comparison to it's original entity. This restaurant it's located near the airport and build right next to a gas station, you wouldn't expect much from its far looks. Inside, totally different story. The location it's very roomy, cozy and very chick!! A soda machine right next to the condiment station. With the restrooms being shared with the gas station. Now to the food. And will say that it did not disappoint. The aji de gallina was so tasty. Layers of flavor and very filling. The egg, potato and hen went well with each other and they compensate the flavor profile. The ceviche was very well made and nicely finished. The lime juice and pepper sauce was delicious. Nothing was left on the plate!! Last but not least was the pollo a la brasa. Half chicken with fries and rice runs you around 14$. Can't beat that price!! And the flavor is just like I remember eating growing up in Peru as a kid! Needless to say, I will be returning to eat and try the rest of the dishes. Thank you for reading this review!! Jan C

I ordered the quarter chicken with plantains and sweet potato fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, very moist and some of the best I've had. They are a little more expensive than other restaurants that serve chicken, but worth it. The location is easy to get in and out of and there is plenty of dining space.

As a Peruvian, I am proud to see a Peruvian restaurant actually have good Peruvian food! Deff authentic and really good! Tried diff plates and were all good! In general, Orlando has good Peruvian food but this place may be above average. Deff recommend it and very reasonable prices! The lomo saltado, seco de carne, leche de tigre, ceviche and chicha morado were amazing! Even the regular filete de pescado was very tasty which isn't typically a popular dish. The alfajores were also delicious but every place is kind of cheap with the manjar in the middle and this place was the same as every other place.

This is my family's go to for Peruvian food. We've tried many Peruvian spots and this place has been the most consistent. As a Peruvian family, we critique all aspects of a Peruvian restaurant but this one seems to be the sweet spot for us. It is up to our standards and I highly recommend it. We've tried many dishes here such as the seco de carne, lomo saltado, pollo a la brasa, jalea... it's all great! We come here every time we crave Peruvian food and/or for special occasions like birthdays. The servers are very kind and helpful. I've never had a problem with the service here. It is located next to a gas station so that can throw people off. It is very clean though for being next to a gas station. They don't have their own restroom but maybe in the future they can expand. As for right now, the restroom is located in the gas station next door. Overall, highly recommend this place. You won't regret it!

The food was amazing! We ordered the tallarin verde and aroz chaufa. Best Peruvian restaurant i have ever eaten at. Just flew in from Los Angeles and i wish we had a place like this. Highly recommend.

I definitively like this spot, although it's no comparison to Aji Ceviche. I ordered a Pollo a la Brasa with fries, a fish fillet, some white beans, and everything was good but not as good as I wished for, or at least not like the original restaurant. But they do have alternatives that are not served at the other 2 locations, like tamales, pork chicharron, etc. Definitively will be coming back to try more stuff, but this is not my favorite place for Pollo a la Brasa. You decide on that one...

I read a review where they gave it one star because of the gas station prices. This restaurant has nothing to do with the gas station and is not even the same ownership so don't let that deter you from visiting This is by far our favorite Peruvian restaurant to go to when we are in the mood for Peruvian style rotisserie chicken. For $26.95. You get a whole chicken and two sides! I don't know where you can beat that especially for the freshness and quality that they give you. The chicken is so flavorful and tasty. The service is OK. It's actually a hit or miss but we don't go there for the service it's more for the food. Anytime we have gone the restaurant has always been clean. they have an open kitchen concept which I love. My family has eaten the ceviche and said it was really good and fresh. Unfortunately for me I am allergic to seafood and fish so I've never been able to try it. However, it does look scrumptious. This restaurant is a must try in my book.

The food here is soooo good! As a Peruvian, I confidently recommend this place! I ordered 6 orders of ceviche Aji Amarillo de pescado, 3 orders of Lomo Saltado, one order of anticuchos, and 2 orders of yuca frita. Everything was incredible. I order over the phone the day before and they were able to accommodate my order and pick up time. Everything was timely, and packed perfectly in separate containers per serving. I did end up putting it all in serving trays since it was for a get together. There was plenty of food to go around, and everyone was very happy with the food! Buenísimo!!!

Great service and delicious food. I would highly recommend this Peruvian restaurant. It's a little hidden gem that serves up flavorful dishes. I had the "Parihuela" which is a mixed seafood soup. Good portions and very flavorful. Our server, Sabastian, was very professional and helpful. The ambiance is modern.

We visited Aji Express for dinner. You can sit down or get takeout . Don't be thrown off that it's next to a gas station. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Our waitress was Heily, she very good and attentive. We got the Parrilla Especial. It was for 2 people but it can definitely feed more . We brought half home. Food is delicious. We will return !

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

The ambiance and the warmth of the staff took me back to the Caribbean--it definitely felt like home. Their menu features a Latin-Asian fusion, and I loved every second of it. We started with the Krab Salad. It was incredibly fresh, topped with avocado, and the perfect way to open my appetite for a sushi night. Next were the Pork Fried Gyoza, served with a sticky, glossy sauce that has just the right amount of kick. They were so good, you won't be able to put your chopsticks down. The Escobar Roll combines shrimp tempura and churrasco--the best of both worlds. It's topped with sweet plantains, chimichurri sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. I had my doubts about all those flavors working together, but I have no idea how they perfected that combination--they absolutely did. The Mar y Tierra Roll was recommended by our waiter, and I highly recommend ordering it in tempura. It gives the roll a completely different texture, and it's absolutely amazing. The Pollo Loco Roll is topped with sweet plantains and teriyaki sauce. It's simple, yet packed with flavor. We finished it all off with a crème brûlée. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be enjoying one at a sushi restaurant, but it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. If you're looking for creative sushi, unique Latin-inspired flavors, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, The Escobar Kitchen is definitely worth the visit.

Our order was taken, everyone's food arrived, but my meal never came out. When I asked about it, the waitress appeared to realize the mistake but did not take accountability. Instead, I was told she would "check in the back," and 15 minutes later she returned with my food claiming it had been there all along. To make matters worse, my daughter ordered her churrasco medium, and it came out well done. My drink was also forgotten. Mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of ownership, communication, and effort to correct the situation. I asked to speak with a manager, but it seemed like the request was ignored or avoided. Coming from someone who has managed restaurants before, it is disheartening to see this level of service and lack of accountability. Unfortunately, based on this experience, my family and I will not be returning.
