Nice place to shop for your kids for everything they need. You can get shoes, clothes, jewelry, and much more. Treat yourself to something sweet at rocky mountain chocolate factory and enjoy shopping with your family.

LIVE NEARBY & STILL ONLY GO HERE 1-3X A YEAR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In other words, it is not so great, except for a local to pick up some stuff here & there...only on a major sale day! The regular prices usually are in effect for the rest. Make sure to use your AAA membership to get your 10% VIP discount for some of the stores at the visitors center...where the restrooms are. If, like me, you have been to all the major real Premium Outlets in CA (i.e. - Camarillo, Gilroy, LIvermore, etc.) this is definitely not your destination for bargain or luxury shopping. When I do go, I only get some basics that are 100% cotton... which are mostly at R. Lauren. I do find that Van Heusen can have good deals on undies. Bass & other stores have crapped out with much lower quality than just a few years ago. Bass no longer makes underwear nor Boy's clothes... likely since they were bought by yet another company. Polo has also gone down in quality, but still has 100% cotton on some things & some great closeout deals on holidays. As far as Men's sale stuff is concerned, Van Heusen & RL are likely the best. Calvin K is way overpriced. Besides for Coach (which is only good when they have more than 50% off), women seem to be totally out of luck, when it comes to name brand luxury stuff. As for food, forget it...but the next mini-mall has a Bagel place, a Starbucks, ,a Cal Fresh Supermarket, & some other eats. If you happen to need something while you on vacation here, you need to know that we do not have much beyond this Outlet. If you need a quick swim suit, I would try Marshall's or Ross's. In SLO, you have Kohl's , Sears, Target, & Marshall's...& Ross's/ Walmart/K-Mart. In Santa Maria, you have a small Macy's. Otherwise it is a multi-hundred mile drive either North or South...except for the Camarillo outlet stores. Sometimes we staycation for that. When I was dying to replace my Tumi luggage, we drove all the way up to Livermore & stayed in the Bay Area for that. Why do I rate them a 3? Well.... it is all we have. I make the best of it and do get some great deals 1-3 x a year. If I was from out of town, it would likely be lower.

Had to take my girls shopping......

Nothing premium about this place and half of these stores aren't even outlets. Absolute waste of my existence.

This is more like strip mall with a handful of stores. Some decent options, I like the Ralph Lauren store.

On a rainy day, it's a perfectly fine excursion, but nothing to write home about. My daughter was super stoked about the converse selection!

Not a lot of places to shop from, it would be nice to have more selection. We also didn't anticipate them closing so early.

I was delighted I found the Madonna Plaza, a mall with a great assortment of mid-level retail with a mix of moderately priced stores and restaurants. Ulta, Chipotle, Buffalo Wild Wings, REI, DSW, Sprouts, Kohl's, See's Candies, Cost Plus World Market and more. I found everything I needed and was on my way in 40 minutes with takeaway Chipotle for my son.

There is a wide variety of both chain and local stores to choose from, such as a department store (Sears), a supermarket, a big-box bookstore (Borders), a local place called the Crushed Grape, Best Buy, and others. Basically, if you live in San Luis Obispo and need something, but prefer to avoid downtown because of the inconvenience of walking from one end to the other, this is the alternative for those who actually use a car in their daily lives and are not ashamed of it.
