Every time we come to Pizmo, we go to these outlets. The Nike store always has a lot of great sales today. Things were 50% off. The van store always has buy one get one free. And this is one of the only locations that is open for the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory, which I always have to get a caramel apple. There's tons of parking. Walking around to the different shops has a shaded covering. There are bathrooms that are air-conditioned. And maintained. Every single one of these stores is dog friendly. And some of the people in the stores give away dog treats. We will always be back whenever we visit the beach. read more

There is a lot of Buy One, Get One at 50 percent off. That's a 25 percent off. It's something but not a bargain. Levi's had a nice selection but was not cheap. Torrid had a great clearance section. And Guess always has a lot of XS sizes. Which is depressing. The bathroom is at the intersection of the two sides and is large and clean. Lots of parking. Plenty of stores to walk through. Prices were okay but they all offered veteran discounts. All folks helping were pleasant and helpful. Liked the surf shops and shoe stores. Levi's was awesome too. Recommend going when they open up to get a good parking spot. Recommend they bring in a food truck rodeo on the weekends to entice even more customers. They had some Tesla chargers. We are use to going to the premium outlets on our way to Palm Springs, which is quite a large footprint. This one is comparably much smaller. I liked their Sketchers store as it was well stocked. We made a visit as we were staying in Pismo Beach. However I would not have driven to this location from home due to the lack of a value proposition (distance versus # of stores and savings). Visited the Converse and they had a great back to school sale going on. Employees were super friendly and helpful. We usually visit this outlet whenever we are passing by but it is not a destination. There is Nike, Carters, Converse, 5 Below, Kate Spade, Coach, Polo etc and Rocky Mountain for a snack. Walkable next door is a great burger place. read more

Hey, Pismo Beach has a premium outlet center. Great! More retail therapy options! Why not. The entire shopping center doesn't have a lot of shops in comparison to the likes of Vacaville or Livermore. It's similar size however to Napa's premium outlets. Overall it's not too shabby. The restrooms are clean and modern. They are located in a shared space with the visitor center. There are security cameras in that area. Some of the shops I recall are... Coach, Nike, Van Heusen, Kate Spade, Harry and David, Calvin Klein, Carter's, Jockey, OshKosh, Vans, Torrid, Gymboree, Tommy Hilfiger, Sketchers, Aeropostale, PacSun, Sunglass Hut. So it has a good mix of clothing options for the entire fam. No food options though. But no worries... there are a bunch of fast food and restaurants nearby, some even within walking distance. #PismoBeachPremiumOutlet read more

This outlet is soo small and their in store selection as well. Their "outlet prices" are not even considered a sale (like Nike). The only store that had good deals was Calvin Klein (30-80%) off which was amazing! Puffy jacket for 7 degree weather at $40 and a nice blouse shirt for $20. The outlet is doing a good job having hand sanitizer throughout the stores, they have opened the entrance doors and have stickers on the ground for social distancing during covid. LIVE NEARBY & STILL ONLY GO HERE 1-3X A YEAR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In other words, it is not so great, except for a local to pick up some stuff here & there...only on a major sale day! The regular prices usually are in effect for the rest. Make sure to use your AAA membership to get your 10% VIP discount for some of the stores at the visitors center...where the restrooms are. If, like me, you have been to all the major real Premium Outlets in CA (i.e. - Camarillo, Gilroy, LIvermore, etc.) this is definitely not your destination for bargain or luxury shopping. When I do go, I only get some basics that are 100% cotton... which are mostly at R. Lauren. I do find that Van Heusen can have good deals on undies. Bass & other stores have crapped out with much lower quality than just a few years ago. Bass no longer makes underwear nor Boy's clothes... likely since they were bought by yet another company. Polo has also gone down in quality, but still has 100% cotton on some things & some great closeout deals on holidays. As far as Men's sale stuff is concerned, Van Heusen & RL are likely the best. Calvin K is way overpriced. Besides for Coach (which is only good when they have more than 50% off), women seem to be totally out of luck, when it comes to name brand luxury stuff. As for food, forget it...but the next mini-mall has a Bagel place, a Starbucks, ,a Cal Fresh Supermarket, & some other eats. If you happen to need something while you on vacation here, you need to know that we do not have much beyond this Outlet. If you need a quick swim suit, I would try Marshall's or Ross's. In SLO, you have Kohl's , Sears, Target, & Marshall's...& Ross's/ Walmart/K-Mart. In Santa Maria, you have a small Macy's. Otherwise it is a multi-hundred mile drive either North or South...except for the Camarillo outlet stores. Sometimes we staycation for that. When I was dying to replace my Tumi luggage, we drove all the way up to Livermore & stayed in the Bay Area for that. Why do I rate them a 3? Well.... it is all we have. I make the best of it and do get some great deals 1-3 x a year. If I was from out of town, it would likely be lower. read more

In a small town such as Pismo having an outlet to go and explore is always a bonus! The area is usually clean with plenty parking. The Nike outlet seems to be one of the more popular stores. The Rocky Mountain chocolate factory is one of my favorites, grab some treats as you shop. The bathrooms are located in the left corner of the building. The Carter's has a good selection of baby/toddler outfits and they seem to always be having a sale. If you are in the area and want to shop check it out, especially on a non holiday weekend it'll be nice and empty. read more

Yelpers are right: This isn't a must-stop or premium outlet for most but it is a great stop if you have kids. Growing like a sprout, we ran into the Osh Kosh store and quickly grabbed some jeans, t-shirt, cute socks and shorts. Mommy was sad that now he's growing out of the Osh Kosh brand. This parenting stuff is hard, a continual process of letting go. Two months ago I was hit by a ton of bricks when the Trader Joe's cashier asked "if he wanted stickers, or was he too old for that?" (Sob!) Ran into the Nine West Outlet for literally 3 minutes (I hate shopping) and the prices weren't anything special. And yes, I did dash into the "As Seen on TV" store because infomercials are my guilty pleasure at 4am and sometimes you find something useful, like the Vegetti. (though a real mandolin would work better probably at the same price) I know, I know. I like The Real Housewives too and think Erika Girardi is fab. Now you know all my dirty secrets. read more

These are your typical outlets except a lot smaller. They don't have as many stores as other towns, however they do have a Nike which is a plus. It's a nice place to check out if you're in the area. The stores don't seem as crowded as other outlets I've been to. read more

Very small selection of stores compared to most of the "Premium Outlets" chain. Had the requisite Nike store on one end and higher end stores (CK/Coach) on the other. Others were nothing too special. That said, all the stores that we went to were very nicely kept compared to other outlets. And if you really look around, you'll probably find some really great deals underneath all that skepticism about the size of these outlets. However, I was disappointed when I walked into Zumiez and found a great bomber jacket only to be informed at checkout that the SKU didn't match, the additional sticker was a mis-label AND it was apparently placed on the wrong rack. That's a lot of mistakes! I didn't buy the jacket after learning it's "true" price...but I felt the store should have at least honored the posted label. I totally understand not wanting to lose profits...but you also put the customer in a bind with so much misinformation. But that experience aside, I did pick up a pair of Chuck Taylor II's at converse for...$14.95. LESS THAN $15 when it retails at about $50. read more

This should be even be called an outlet. It's basically a shopping plaza. You can easily walk it in about 20 minutes or so. No big brand names brands like the other outlets has. The word "premium" when used in close proximity to the words "outlet" and "mall" usually adds up to an experience I find enjoyable. A selection of high-end shops with somewhat reasonable prices collected together to ensure an efficient shopping experience. Entire girl's weekends have been built around proximity to a good premium outlet mall. Pismo Beach Premium Outlets is not a good premium outlet mall. In fact, the word premium here seems like a huge stretch and the one premium store they do have (Coach) must be wondering how they wound up here amongst Torrid, Jockey, and Dress Barn to name a few. After the fact I remarked to my brother that this collection of stores is definitely not "premium" to which he replied "look where you are", the implication being that the area wouldn't support high end shops. Lets just say that they'd have been a lot more likely to wrest cash from my paws if they actually had a store I wished to shop in. They did, but barely. Don't be enticed by the prime location of this outlet. The easy on and off from the 101 freeway is surely convenient but the selection here is dismal, unless you're looking for casual wear. Shops like Pacsun, Zumiez, Nike, Van Heusen rule here. The bf did find comfy sneaks at Zumiez and the staff have skater boy looks and easygoing attitudes. Don't go looking for Coach, Banana Republic or even Gap here. CK and Ralph Lauren are the only stores that carry somewhat high end stuff and their prices reflect that too. read more

Hmmm. I was expecting much more from the Pismo Beach Outlets, especially since the word "premium" is in the title. We took a short drive from SLO to check this place out, and when we pulled into the parking lot it looked like it was going to be promising. Unfortunately after walking around a bit I came to find that not only were there only a handful of stores I really wanted to check out, but the selection in those stores was a bit wanting - I've been in outlets that have had bigger, better selections in the past. Also, the prices weren't much better than the full-price versions of these stores, which was a bit disappointing as well. It was worth looking around the one time I went, but I don't think it's worth taking another trip out here. Of all the stores I only ended up walking out with one shirt from Vans, which was having a buy one get one free sale on all women's apparel and accessories, and even then I could only find one thing in the entire store I was interested in. But regardless, on this one and ONLY visit that took me about 20 minutes total, this trip was a huge flop. Typical stores you'd find at the MALL (Torrid? Really?), plus a few OUTLET stores added in (Nike, etc.) This entire set-up is very, very small. I only stopped in a few stores because nothing caught my attention in the least. The Harry & David store was INSANELY overpriced, although I did leave with a few small items. So good on both of them. I ventured into the Under Armor store, but nothing jumped out at me. I was really disappointed and let down. I expected tons more to experience, if nothing else for being in Pismo. If you're looking to REALLY shop at an outlet mall, your best bet is Camarillo. This review is for PacSun in the outlets. I returned $85 worth of merchandise 4 weeks ago and still haven't received my money back on my card. I was contacting them back and forth for the first 3 weeks but they have stopped responding as of a week ago. And my money still isn't here. I called the banks and there's no issue on their end. So at this point it honestly feels like PacSun scammed me out of $85. When I went into the store they said that it was completed on their end and to call corporate. And when I called corporate they tell me the same thing every time, "We are putting your issue at the top of our list. Please allow 1-8 business hours for response." But no response or results ever come. So congratulations on stealing $85 from me PacSun. read more

Might be the worst outlet I've ever been to, that's why I don't really have anything to say besides that. There were probably 10-15 stores, none of which had any amazing deals. They had Nike Outlet (really small), Guess, Coach, Converse, Pacsun, Bass.. nothing really here worth stopping for. You're better off at Gilroy or Vacaville outlets. We bought something. 2 stars for that. You're better off stopping at the Camarillo Outlets in your drive back to LA. Not enough stores. Even the Nike Outlet was disappointing. No food options, as was previously pointed out (how do you not have a place to at least grab a snack..Rocky Mountain Chocolate is inadequate and overpriced). I've been to some of the other outlets that this company owns, and this is one of their better ones. It's small enough to go browsing without getting overwhelmed. When you go shopping at the outlets or factory stores, you make certain sacrifices for bargains. You realize that you may have to select from certain outdated styles, limited size and color options, and items which are not true to size. I am okay with dealing with the usuals downsides of bargain shopping when it means that I might find some steals. However, the couple of times I've dropped by these outlets, I've struggled to find items of interest and was surprised at the mark up of the prices. Outlet stores like Nike or Calvin Klein were carrying their items at regular prices with small promotions such as 20% off. Not worth the time or money. Came here in November as we were visiting the area, and we all decided to get some shoes a couple pies each, there was 4 of us my kids are tryin on shoes, I notice this guy that was down our aisle looking over at us , so I kept a close eye on him because he would go to the next aisle and still look over , and one point he was close to use and my KIDS! So is this guy a "weirdo"? Shopping for a can of whoop ass ? If so I had one for him! So as I proceeded to watch him closely I realized he was a "loss prevention agent" (Side note I've also done that same job). So what have him away was that he stuck out like a sore thumb , he had a body odor like he had been heavily sweating when he passed us in the aisle, what bothered me is that we were probably the only Hispanic family with a darker complexion and we were on our way to the beach afterwards so we were not dressed as everyone else?
