We were going to be in Solvang for few days so decided bring few things to sell and buy of course! First day I had no appt wasn't sure what time I get there. I looked around couple hours kinda check out the vibe of store. Yes I did find stuff I liked. Made appt next day with Adam. The parking slim there but We got lucky 2x able park in front of store. Next day went over the items with Adam. we talked about each item usual where got it, year made, etc I had COA for 1 item rest where done thru check check process takes few hours get validated. Adam was charismatic guy it was easy talk to. He asked what I wanted and he did comps on the items he said what he be able buy at we met sorta middle that i felt ok I let these go. It was process which I was ok with that's how negotiations work. I'm collector of things so I had to be good to part with stuff. I've been thrifing and buying vintage stuff since kid; my mom bought us clothes at Goodwill. That experience carried with me as adult. This is a neat concept. It's like a goodwill bins store and thrift store mixed. The bins is where I went. The problem is that there is a lot of trash that should be thrown away and instead they charge $10 an item out of the bins. I luckily found Viori and alo or I would never have bought. In that case both items were in good shape. I like this but definitely think the bin items are way expensive!! read more

Watch your receipts! I said I didn't want a bag and I was charged for one. You don't give receipts on site so I didn't see the charge. You charged for the bag and then charged the cc fee on top of that. Yes, it's only cents but it's unethical. My previous purchase was for cash but you didn't have change so you came out ahead in that transaction too. Won't be coming back. read more

Recently brought a large amount of very expensive clothes in , they were rejected for whatever reason (all of them ) .. which I found weird because they sell stuff that smells and looks as if it was dumpster dived for .. the person who contacted me was rude and snotty to the point I told them to donate them to not have to deal with them anymore . Fast forward two weeks I have found 4 items that without any shadow of a doubt are mine and obviously they were kept and sold :. DO. NOT SELL YOUR CLOTHES HERE . Mid tbh. A lot of the vintage items have NYC vintage shop prices and Deep South goodwill quality. Sure, it's "curated", but have things even been cleaned prior to being put on the sales floor? For example: There's a difference between quality leather being aged/neglected and it just being downright dirty still. I'll happily pay those kinds of prices, but not if a shop can't even be bothered to QC the cleanliness of what they're gouging us for. Pretty insane selection of clothing that has appeal to anyone and any kind of fashion. Prices are fair and you can find that things are underpriced most of the time too. Worker's are all super kind as well and are always willing to help or gather information on clothing or any questions you have. Not to mention the environment filled with colorful and unique furniture/decorations that have you exploring. Overall an amazing experience and definitely a must visit if in SLO! I recently went to Thrifty Beaches to sell clothes, and they said it takes a couple of days to turn around. I waited a few days till I received a text, and when I went there to see my offer for my clothes, the day I got the text, they said our manager isn't in today, so we can't offer anything. I returned the next day, and they told me their manager only buys clothes during certain hours. Then I was messaged and told my clothes were going to be donated because it was past the 5-day drop off, even tho it's been on their timeline, and they could not help me. They are inconsiderate of time and show poor ethics towards community consumers. read more

Went to the headquarters and didn't love it. Lots of stained or ripped clothing. I could see this place being a college kids dream closet though. Prices were hit or miss. Some $20-$30 items and a lot of $40-$100 items. I will stick with less costly thrift stores. read more

Im from SF and pretty familiar with the fashion scene -- and honestly, this place was super disappointing and kinda overpriced. Everytime I walk in, I'm shocked at how expensive these clothings were for the quality it was. Might be a their #1 hater, might not. I saw a 100% polyester jacket priced at $78 and assuming just because it's "vintage". Let's be so fr. Additionally, the bins were also really bad. Edit: The owner did express how they spend time and money choosing these clothing items, which was nice to hear, but im wondering how they're able to make profit if they spend thousands of dollars on these items?
