    BEST BAKLAVA IN THE WORLD
    Crystal W.

This cafe was so cute and their marketing was on point. Everything was pistachio + had other trendy things to taste like the Dubai chocolate - INCREDIBLE. we did have to break it up into pieces because it was rich. We wanted to savor and enjoy each piece. The baklava was so juicy and incredible. Truly one of the best I have ever tried!

Mmm... Pistachio Sweetery Café has been on my radar since last summer, and I'm so glad I finally made it! I'm seriously kicking myself for all the times I've walked right by without stopping in. We came for a late lunch, and my only disappointment was that they didn't have any savory items available--whether they ran out or changed the menu, I have no idea. So, I guess a sweet lunch was happening! My husband had the Blooming Beauty tea, and I had the Karak tea--both were delicious! We indulged in a Dubai chocolate (honestly, a bit underwhelming--I don't quite get the hype), an Osmalieh (a vermicelli cream dessert that was unique and tasty), and two biscuits. The staff was friendly, and bonus points for plenty of seating--always a plus in Vancouver! The space was super clean, and I really loved the touch of the Turkish lamps adding to the ambiance. I'll definitely be back--hopefully next time, I can try some savory options!

Excellent cafe and dessert shop downtown. Really nice decor and decorations. Staff is so friendly. We went up and they gave some cookies for my kids to try. We ordered a whole bunch of cheesecakes and also the Knaffeh. The cheesecakes are really nice. Great consistency and texture, creamy smooth. The raspberry and mango flavours in particular were so so good. They really stand out. The Knaffeh is also amazing. They were so nice that they gave us a fruit tea drink to try. That was also, really really delightful. Would come back again, for sure.

Great place to come because it's open late. Lots of beautiful desserts to try. I got the biscoff cheesecake and it was really good.

It's one rainy afternoon, so we decided to look for a cafe to warm up; Pistachio Sweetery Cafe got our attention for their various Sweet and savoury options. We liked the ambience as soon as we entered: spacious, comfortable seats, mellow soundtrack and plenty of sweets and drinks. We had pistachio moss cake, which we liked for its rich flavour, yet it was less sweet. We had butterfly pea tea and an Arabica tea set, which was served hot, so give it some time to warm up; we liked that on the menu, there were benefits written on the teas, which made me feel satisfied with the Arabic tea for its soothing taste and antioxidant benefits. If you prefer savoury, ask first, as they were sold out during our visit, which is a little disappointing.

After my first visit there, I can't stop coming back. The cafe is quiet and spacious enough. I absolutely love the Turkish coffee! I always like spices in my coffee so the Turkish coffee is my favorite there. It has cardamom in it. I also love the labneh pide. The labneh is yogurt cheese which is soft and rich, it's like having a cheese pizza. On my second visit, I had a chai and pistachio cheesecake. The cheesecake was heavenly. It was super rich and smooth. Because of its richness, one slice was too much for me. I was so full after. It would be best to share it with a friend. The chai was also smooth and aromatic. I'm looking forward to trying their kunafa on my next visit

This is such a super cute cafe in downtown Vancouver. It's been on my list to go try it out. I got the pistachio cheesecake and iced pistachio latte with espresso. I absolutely loved the cheesecake. Super delicious and light. I wasn't sure about the latte though... I'm not sure if it was the combination with the espresso or something else that I'm a little hesitant on it but I'll have to go back for sure and try it out again! The staff are absolutely wonderful and the ambiance is so welcoming

A cute cafe in downtown vancouver, the place bring a nice vibe. I tried the pistachio espresso latte. Wish there was a bit more pistachio flavouring. The dessert options are amazing. Had the delicious baklava.

I found out about this café coincidentally when I was visiting town and attended an event they were dessert catering for. From the looks of the Arabic dessert trays they brought in, I had an inkling it would be pretty good. The swiftness of the dessert's disappearance proved me right and I knew I'd need to visit the actual cafe before heading back home. The morning of my flight, I took the gorgeous 15 minute walk from my hotel into Downtown Vancouver and unwinded at Pistachio Sweetery. It's really cozy but not too small for a downtown space. A quaint cafe that really transports you out of the busy hustle and bustle scene and into a really calming atmosphere. I'm a knafeholic and proud. I make it a lot at home and when I'm lazy I'll order it, but sometimes it's not always as good as homemade. Nonetheless I was eager to try their mini knafeh (such a genius size, although I realized I was hungry enough for a second one after I finished but I eat lightly before a flight). It came warmed up on a plate and sprinkled with crushed pistachios. I also ordered the karak chai. It was so well made. Extra hot and creamy with the perfect kick of cardamom. My morning was off to a good start with this little visit, and with the decor, it really made me feel like home. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a little Arabian vacation and treats.

Amazing food and drink. The baklava is the perfect level of sweetness. So is the karak tea. Just perfect.

At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

I'm from the Bay Area and we have our fair share of Japanese grocery stores (shout out to Niiya in Japantown in San Francisco) but I was very excited to see the selection here. They even had Japanese canned drinks stored hot like in Japan! The take away Japanese desserts also looked good. This place is right on Robson street so a great place to grab a snack, drink, pick me up while shopping. Prices seemed reasonable. One caveat is that it can get busy in here and the aisles are small so it felt a little crowded but that's sort of like Japan as well lol so not a big deal for me. Added to the ambience.
