This gun store called in my application and not to my surprise I got a hold on my mauser till the 7th. Well, I went in today to check the status of the mauser and see if i got a proceed on the rifle Cause, when I left Friday she ( the store owner) asked for my number to give me a call if i get a proceed later that day or week... Well, I drove by the store today to see if there was a status change... You never know... People do forget to call folks. Anyway.... I walked into the store and ask the owner if there was a status change on my rifle.. She told me that they sold the Mauser on Saturday the 3rd... Needless to say... I was bummed out and unaware of this stores policy...

OK so I had been all over town looking to buy a 9mm and looking at mostly GLOCK but after dealing…read morewith the nice lady at Pistol Parlor, I ended with getting from Pistol Parlor a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield M2.0 9mm. I was much more pleased with this gun than anything I had looked at including a GLOCK 9mm I had in the past as the size, weight and feel of the gun is better than any expectation I had to what I was going to be able to get during these bad times. I was also not just surprised but happy that she had put aside a box a bullets as during this time, pistol ammunition was unavailable everywhere I looked, but had changed weeks later. When I was leaving Gary had come in and got me a great holster plus I have been back since and gotten a speed loader which works so much better than trying to load by hand. I also talked to Gary about getting Mod parts for the gun and he said that not only would it be better that he do them, mainly the Monarch Trigger System as with my bad hands I would be more at comfort to having them do it rather then something going wrong. Since buying it I only wish I would of gotten it with the "Crimson Trace Laser" from the factory but will probably end up getting the bolt on one. Look forward to doing business with them in the future, but first need to go to a Shooting Range and try this out.

Gary and his team repaired a Marlin 336 that I had sent to a shop in Scottsdale, AZ to repair (two…read moremonths!) the loading gate screw. Unfortunately they butchered the job and I was still left with a single shot lever action rifle. They sent it back unrepaired and paid the shipping back to me. Parts changers I'm sure and not true gunsmiths. Contacted Gary and took my rifle to his shop to see if it could be repaired. Awesome job I think it looks great for what they had to work with! Larger headed screw but with a perfect color match to the original factory bluing. Got rifle back together and it functions perfectly and not a single shot any more. Price was very reasonable compared to a $1200 quote I got from a shop in New York! Everyone that I talked to were very friendly, understanding and courteous. My new repair shop from now on if needed. My hubs has a condition that causes shakiness and instability. They were so cordial and acted like that was no big deal and were able to offer solutions for him to be able to do XC with me. Huge selection of everything you could possibly need or want for a day of snow fun. They do complete rentals and of course sales as well. Prices and policies were reasonable. It seemed like half the store was 40% off so we looked around then went to the shoe section. I found some full price Merrell shoes to try. The clerk was having a conversation with a customer about possible Grand Canyon hikes which was interesting....for the first 5 minutes. Made eye contact with the clerk but nothing, just kept talking about hikes and never about the shoes being tried on. Got up and looked for someone else to help but no one available after a lap of the store. Went back to the shoe department, the clerk was STILL talking about hikes and ignoring me standing there with the shoe. Put the shoe back on the shelf, we left and spent our money elsewhere. While we don't give off the hardcore "outdoors" vibe this store is definitely not as cool as they think they are. We were also ignored when first walking through the store while hearing another customer being offered help. Good thing there are a dozen other stores selling the same stuff within a square mile of old downtown. Maybe why so much of the merchandise was 40% off?

We both found some great 2nd hand items and items that had been in the warehouse for some time. Great selections but the sale is totally deceiving. It knocks down items per date, but you have to look closely. Which was fine, we both liked our items but the gal who checked me out full price anyway.. $78 she gave me, she gave me 10% off but when we later looked at the tags, I should have only been charged $47!!! We already left town by then, but wonder how many others are buying full for "sale" items. Make sure to check your receipt!

I've never had much experience with a bow but I felt good walking out of the store. Customer service was second to none. Thank you bull basin for dialing me in and not making me feel stupid or less than because I'm brand new to the sport. I live Los Angeles and will be back for all my archery needs, another bow for my son, and to get those pricier items you talked me out of! Hahaha
