What a great little gem!! My father came up from Houston and we came here to eat with the whole family!! The place is set up like an old diner and they were spot of with the decor! (thumbs up) the wait staff was friendly and Victoria our waitress made sure we were happy while we waited for our meal... they make everything fresh and on the spot. Each of us ordered something different. My dad got the chicken fried steak and said it was fantastic, one of the boys got the Frito Pie and gobbled it up (he's the picky eater) and said it was great I snuck a couple of bites and the chili did not taste like cheap canned chili! Great job on that dish! My other son got the bacon and chicken fried chicken sandwich (yes it's a mouth full to say) and even bigger to eat! The chicken was tender and the batter was crispy the perfect combo! Myself and the boys friend got the hamburgers and again perfect they were juicy but not oily great flavor and the buns are superb . Last but not least my husband got the pulled pork sandwich they place the pork on the bun and you get the bar-b-que sauce so that you control how much sauce you get! The sauce is not a cheap bottle variety and has a flavor that can only be tasted to appreciate. So overall our first visit to the cute little gem was definitely one that will be repeated! Amazing fall-off-the-bone ribs and the ribeye steak for Sat steak night is amazing. Good place to stop on the way to/from Naskila or for a little road trip from Houston. Small town service, big city taste! Such a cute exterior and interior, just feels incredibly welcoming. The owner takes an immense amount of pride in the satisfaction of his customers and quality of the food. He was walking around the entire time, conversing with customers and checking on their needs. Our server was named Amanda and could not have been more attentive. We had the sliced beef plate and some of the Pit Row BBQ sauce (must try). Probably some of the best brisket I've had in the Houston area... All topped off with a scoop of Bluebell ice cream. They are opening a new location in New Caney, so I'll want to check that out too. This place has only been open for 16 months. We are full-time RVers and have eaten a lot of bbq while traveling the South. This is our favorite. Any place with fall-off-the-bone ribs that are so tasty that sauce is not required has a special place in my stomach. The potato salad is the first ever to remind me of my mom's. So glad I stopped here today. The restaurant is decorated in a 1950's style decor but isn't overdone or gaudy. The owner greeted me personally as I came in, and I was immediately seated and served my drink. The waitress took my order efficiently and correctly, repeating it to make sure it was right. My wife and I stopped in after I saw really good reviews. There were a lot of vehicles parked outside when we arrived which was a good sign.
