I told them to make my falafel platter saucy and they understood the assignment! 5 stars for every visit thus far.

Food was great, and I wish I could give them more stars. The place is pretty hole in the wall, but that's okay, plenty of small businesses with great food are. We ordered a falafel wrap and a chicken over rice to eat in. While we were waiting, the man at the counter started CUTTING HIS FINGERNAILS. Granted, he wasn't handling food and there is a divider between the food at the front and him, but it's still disgusting. I cringed every time I heard a click of the nail cutter. He was sniffling the entire time he was putting bags of food/trays together. The lady in the back seemed a bit more hygienic as I had a quick glimpse of her, and she was wearing a hairnet. I almost wanted to forego the money we paid and just leave but I seriously hate food waste. The food was good, but I will never again eat it, which I find very regretful.

Came here by suggestion from a coworker. Got the lamb over rice. Good serving size and love the little extra salad bits. Flavor/seasoning is great...my only gripe is the pita being ripped up in little pieces, makes it difficult to dip in hummus.

The falafel and rice platter is delicious. The falafel balls are well seasoned and crispy. They give you a great portion topped with cabbage salad, pitas, salad and their famous white sauce. The rice is long grain and fragrant I ate half of it and saved the other half for lunch.

First and foremost the portions were super generous! I ordered a falafel pita and my friend ordered the chicken pita. Both sandwiches were chock full. Initially I thought the sandwich was going to be mostly lettuce (see pic), but after a few bites I reached the falafel, tzatziki sauce, and chickpea topping. The falafel had good texture and was moist. There was a bit too much tzatziki but I prefer that to a dry sandwich. The vibe is nothing special, but it's clean and quiet. It seems like a good spot for takeout and I look forward to coming back to try the lamb pita.

Food is delicious. Had the lamb over rice, perfect compliment of white sauce, hummus, (which is one of the best I have ever had) pita chips and salad. Absolutely recommend and will return.

Glad to have a certified HMS Halal spot. This shows the owner truly cares about the quality of meat he serves his Muslim customers. The menu is very big and I look forward to exploring it I ordered over the phone and the owner got my custom order spot on. I got a mixed platter with 3x chicken, less rice and every sauce they had, it was pretty good, next time I may ask if they could throw some extra seasoning on the chicken. Was not bad. There's decent seating in the restaurant, the menu is a little all over the place, so I'll be posting new things as I try it. Mixed Platter: Pretty Decent, I would recommend to ask if they could add extra seasoning to the chicken. I personally like extra everything though Dhoom Burger: Has a nice sauce with it Dhoom Fries: They're pretty good, i would shake it around in the box to get everything evenly coated Pizza: Didn't try it but everyone recommends the chicken one On a scale of 1-10: I rate it "alhumdullah", more places need to offer HMS

Came here on my lunch break. When you hear of Pita and Hummus, one automatically thinks of Middle Eastern food. This is not!!! Though it may be middleeastern inspired, the food is just "ok" it's definitely East Indian food. They're no Halal Guys thats for sure. I'm grateful the food was seasoned, but that's about it. Never again. Good luck!

I've passed this place a good 50+ times in my car and have walked passed it about 5x on foot. So last night I took the plunge and am glad I gave them a try. I got the cheese meat fries, as they call it, with lamb on top; and it was different to say the least, but in a good way. The lamb was tender and I liked the cheese sauce a lot, weird color but still good. Also got the man and rice platter and I must say, that lamb and rice platter I got was all that and then some, real deal shyt.. had chickpeas and all types of shyt in it, along wit like cut up pita and salad, a lot was under that tzatziki sauce that was like a treasure to the taste buds. I can't wait to go back and would recommend this to others. Very clean inside and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous.

When I arrived on a late Wednesday afternoon, the place was empty. The guy working behind the counter was sitting there eating food behind the counter as I walked in the door. This occurred in close proximity to where the food is that they serve. That should've been my sign to leave, but I wanted to give this place a chance. I ordered a bowl with a base of rice and spinach. I got two different types of hummus and another dip which I assume is their version of the crazy feta they have at Cava. I asked what the most popular protein choice was and I was told the chicken schwarma so I got that. I got a bunch of different vegetables and topped it off with tzatziki sauce. I paid around $15 for my food. When I got home and ate my food, I was highly disappointed. Everything lacked flavor to me, even the meat, dips, and sauce. The corn looked like it came from a can. The chicken also had a weird appearance to it. I know it was bad because I was literally STARVING from barely eating anything all day and I had to throw it away after a few bites. Usually when I'm super hungry, things that taste merely okay are edible enough for me to finish. That was not the case here. Disappointed, I still had to go out and get something else to eat. This was my first time here, but I don't see myself returning. The service wasn't the greatest either. The staff who was working there didn't seem interested in trying to help me with any suggestions as I stood there taking forever to decide what I wanted. I guess he just wanted me out the door so he could get back to his food. Another thing I'd like to note is that most times when you visit these assembly-line type of fast casual spots, there's usually multiple people behind the counter and you can see things being prepared right in front of you. That was not the case here. I don't even know if there was anyone in the back preparing food or replenishing items throughout the day.

Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. I know things changed since the previous owner (older Greek man) no longer owned it. He used to stop by the tables and chat with customers and we noticed that the portions had become smaller. This time we came for lunch on a Sunday. Place was kind of empty, with the exception of 2 large tables. We ordered Saganaki and were informed by waitress that they no longer flambéd it table side. We still ordered and it was good although not melted like we remembered. Husband only ordered the lemon soup, which he said was good. My daughter and I both ordered beef and lamb gyros, I ordered it with Greek fries (with the Greek cheese over them) and my daughter ordered hers with lemon potatoes. Both gyros came dry, in hard shaved pieces and I barely ate my fries as they were worse than fast food fries and not the traditional Greek cheese over them. The tzatziki was good, however, my daughter's had a hair in it. The worse part was that when we brought it to the waitresses attention, she was not apologetic or surprised. She just said she would bring a new one. This was unacceptable. To make matters worse, I went to their store next door to get the cheese I could fry at home and their custard dessert; they had neither. What a disappointment to the entire experience. It felt like chewing a flip-flop in surround sound. Dinner came with exactly three vegetarian choices, all of which looked more like an appetizer sampler trying to pass as a meal. Thankfully, I had great company and a teammate who generously brought wine, which definitely upgraded the experience. Would I return? Personally, no. If you're vegetarian and planning to eat anything beyond hummus, salad, or bread, this place might test your patience.
