I stopped in for lunch and loved how clean and quaint the store front is…read more I ordered the chicken gyro bowl with quinoa, feta, olives and chick peas. The wait was short and the food was incredibly fresh and very well made. It was one of the better chicken gyros that I've had, it was clearly roasted and seasoned perfectly. Their tzatziki sauce is creamy and very delicious, a perfect compliment to the savory bowl that I got with my choices that were saltier (olives and feta). I love that the portion size was large enough that I had it leftover for lunch again the next day. If you're in the St. James area, I would highly suggest checking this spot out asap.

Also there are few small tables outdoor as we saw someone ate outside with a dog. The menu was quite straightforward to follow. I got a lamb and beef gyro which was about 6 inches long for $13. My wife had the chicken souvlaki platter for about $22 which she paid $3 upcharge for a gluten free pita bread. The worker inside told her that the gf pita is good and doesn't have that weird texture bite and she was correct. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the meat was definitely moist along with the pita. Nothing tasted like that sat for awhile. Customer service was fantastic and we will be back.

"Eh" pretty much sums up the experience here unfortunately. We were pretty excited to potentially…read morefind a new go-to Greek spot but this is far from if. The prices were fair(ish) but everything else not so much. -Gyro Sandwich: 3/5, I will admit the meat was actually pretty delicious and there was a ton of it..but after that this was pretty forgettable. Shredded lettuce and onion thrown on top and called a sandwich. The fries it came with kind of sucked, and the yogurt sauce was nothing special. -Chicken over rice platter: 2/5, we actually laughed when we opened this. A single skewer broken in half over a bed of bland brown rice for $10. Not very enjoyable...at all. The sandwich combo also came with a drink so when I selected coke I assumed I'd be getting a can like most other Greek spots do...BUT you know what they say when you assume!! Instead I received a small paper cup Saran wrapped up with half the drink soaked into it..to top it off it was flat. Like drinking water with coke flavor. Needless to say we don't plan on coming back here when the craving for Greek returns.

I didn't receive that, instead I got a pan with some greek salad protein on top of salad on the side was pita Either there was something wrong with the person making my meal. of course I saw this when home very disappointed hardly any gyro meat and making my own gyro cut appetite there were no onions. Paid way to money for what I got not happy

The salad with falafel is huge! It could easily be 3 meals. Fresh and full of ingredients, it was super filling and really enjoyable. The falafel was perfectly made- crispy on the outside and soft inside. A bit spicy, and so fresh. The stuffed grape leaves also were amazing (I got the appetizer), again so well made and fresh. It's easy to miss this spot as it's in a strip of other businesses, but it's definitely a must-try!

We walked in about dinner time. All the chairs were placed upside down on every single table in the place. For somewhere that opens at 11am that day... by 5pm, it looked like it was either just opening or just closing. So, EVERY SINGLE chair flipped upside down on top of all the tables. Not a single place to sit or table to use. A guy came out and started mopping the dining room. These are all signs that a place is closing. Not a single customer in sight. As you can imagine, it was confusing. I did a double take and saw another guy at the counter. "Are you still open?" I inquired. He gave me a scowl and a brief response as if I was crazy to ask this question. I can't say if he's just one of the those people that doesn't know his facial expressions are naturally unwelcoming, or if he honestly was annoyed by our presence as customers. It was really off-putting. At no point did he smile or seem welcoming, which made it feel like they were ready to close at 5pm and we walked in. I'm sure it's not the case, but this all seemed so weird. So yeah, service sucked. Honestly, I don't know if that guy is an employee or family of owner, but my god, put him somewhere not customer facing. Other than that, the food was great. I enjoyed it all. Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be back. The food was worth coming back for, but the service was just the most unwelcoming thing I've ever seen. Also, who mops the floor in the middle of dinner hour and places all the chairs up? If there was a reason, you should probably tell the customers coming in... "OH hey, welcome! Yeah, just cleaning up the floors. It'll be a minute, but come check out the menu"... It's that easy. Get this guy some training behind the counter.
