They have a nice variety of Pitas to choose from and I like variety. :-) The food was very good, and the individual ingredients were kept in a good and fresh condition. Quite tasty. I also like and enjoy the outside seating. The only negative is that most of the outside seating is on the sunny side of the building. Since we were visiting in the middle of summer it would have been nice to find more shade available outside. read more

Delicious pitas, it's healthy and they have a great selection. In a town with more than it's fair share of fried, fast food, it is so nice to have something made with fresh ingredients that is delicious and good for me. The pitas I get can be as good (or bad) for me as I make them. Their delivery is nice and convenient as well. During the school year, they've been delivering nice and late (after 2am), though this was only during the school year. I'm not sure if this is something they will continue, but I hope so. Very tasty, healthy and well prepared sandwiches/pitas. I have a daughter who is a vegetarian and this is her favorite place to grab something to eat quick. Service has always been quick and friendly - I have no complaints. Many delicious vegetarian options but you don't feel crude ordering meat either :) Only slight problem is parking can be tricky due to the downtown street parking but if you can find a spot for your car, highly recommend. read more

Then she proceeded to give me less than the usual amount. It's like a subway but in a pita and they have way more options to choose from, anything from sauces to veggies, you pick it they'll put it in. Absolutely the worst experience ever. The lettuce was brown. Not enough dressing on the salad and when we asked for more they refused. Would not accept a coupon on the phone, only printed copies. It's 2015. Get with the electronic age. Spoke with general manager. Very rude. Basically said he didn't care. Mankato has lots of great restaurants. Pita Pit is not one of them. I would put NO stars if I could - My experience with this Pita Pit has been absolutly horrible. I was delivered the wrong pita by mistake. When I called the establishment to let them know this was not what I ordered and asked to get a corrected Pita and they could have the incorrect one back as it was something I would not wat, they stated it was my fault in how I placed the order and they would not replace the pita.
