One employee was the only one apparently working but she kept disappearing through the swing door while my 'food' cooked - if that's what you call being cooked. She had, like, 2" long fake black eyelashes on gooped with so much black crap that I was surprised they stayed on her eyelids - and she was wearing the most inappropriately tight yoga. pants that were past the point of crack invasive! They left nothing to the imagination and were gross beyond the definition of embarrassing. On to the $8.50 garbage she prepared - basically and ounce of chicken, a piece of McDonalds-thin bacon, a tiny bit of mozarella cheese, a flour tortilla (apparently a 'pita'), and a squirt of ranch dressing. I took two bites to get the ounce and a quarter of chicken and bacon and threw what little was left away. $8.50 for what??? Never again, not at any Pita Pit in and location forever. And this was my very first and only visit. This chain is the next one to fail and this location would be better torn down. Door dashed the Hawaiian bowl. Comes with chicken, rice, corn, peppers and spinach. What I got was chicken and spinach. I called pita pit and was told they have no rice. Haha. Then why make the meal? After several visits to this location and after speaking with the GM, I am comfortable posting an honest review. The comments about portion sizes are accurate. Food is overpriced and low quality as you will see from the pictures they are happy to serve brown lettuce and peppers with stems in them. The staff commented "well would you rather have wilted lettuce or none at all". The GM defended her staff and conditions as you will see are filthy. It doesn't take but a few minutes to pick out the stems from the peppers or even spot them as the food is being built. Apparently that is asking too much. read more

I've always enjoyed going into pita pit. I went in there yesterday and the lady that helped me was extremely rude. She had long black hair was wearing shorts and had on lash extensions. She gave me attitude the whole time I was there and she made it seem like I was the problem not only that I found a hair inside my pita and she was the one that helped me. I usually don't complain for the service that I get but when it happens multiple times and there's always something wrong it makes me very upset and frustrating. This was the last straw. Every time I go in there she's always the one that helps me and I really just don't think she wants to be there. People like her are the reason why customers stop going to places. Got here on a Sunday at 12:15pm, just one girl behind the counter taking orders and making the food, she took 10 orders and then proceeded to make the food while we all waited for the food, painfully slow, not the girls fault but come on, who schedules Just one person at lunch time!! I asked twice to have the mushrooms cooked with the chicken and she "threw" 5 pieces of mushrooms on the griddle for all of 20 seconds to cook. She never asked what toppings I wanted and she slapped a bunch of stuff in the pita wrap. My sister, in a wheelchair, and I went into the restaurant. Planned to eat lunch. We were not greeted, in fact there was no one in the restaurant to greet us. We went to the restroom and when we were done, it flooded! Not just the one room, but both restrooms flooded. We came out and said "Hello?" and a young woman came out from the back and when I told her the restrooms were flooding out into the hallway, she informed me we were supposed to ask to use her bathroom anyway and she had come out to greet us but we were already in the bathroom before she could even say anything (true, we did need to use the restroom). I responded we had come in to eat lunch and no one was at the counter or we might have asked, but now we were simply going somewhere else since she chose to be rude about it and wanted to keep the restroom in a public restaurant closed to the public. She sneered at us and we left. It is no simple task for us to get out of the car, into the wheelchair and into a restaurant and then into a restroom. Only 1 young girl working by herself. (Low Staffed) She took my order and then disappeared for awhile. Their were only 2 other people sitting at a table, which 1 of them came up to the counter waiting for the girl to let her know that his order was wrong. The lettuce of my choice looked old and when I asked her if she had some fresher lettuce she replied "no, she hasn't been able to prep because she is by herself. She suggested that I have one of the other lettuce choices. I felt bad that she was by herself, but she seemed unhappy to be there. Restaurant is absolutely filthy. Overheard employee saying owner closed last night. Both restrooms are soaked with urine all over the toilet seat and one toilet is overflowing. A single employee is running the entire place right now, and at onlu 11am it doesn't look like it's been cleaned for three days. There are literally no clean tables they are all dirty, and the floors clearly were not cleaned in the last few days, or maybe even weeks. There is a literal SHOE print on one of the tables where someone's stepped on it and not wiped it off. I will never, ever come back, it's clear the owner doesn't care. I don't typically write Google reviews but this was a disgusting disappointment in comparison to other pita pits across the State. Employee also has long hair and is wearing it down which is a total health code violation in the state of Oregon. All the vegetables and whatnot looked like they were prepped for days and half of it was rotting. This is a fast food option in Medford, near where we were staying during our visit. Though we had several nice meals elsewhere in town, including as the home of our hosts, we did need a takeout order from here one evening and found it good to for the occasion. The food was fresh and properly prepared and ordered online and ready when we arrived for the pick up. I did not get much of a look to see the store interior as they has the pickups easily identified. My wrap was tasty and prepared as directed. Seems like a healthy choice for the occasion. I ordered the small gyro without onions and had no complaints about the meat, the veggies and the wrap. And it as actually the real definition of small. The female employee that was working on Friday was EXTREMELY rude. I placed a mobile order for mine and my husband's food so it would be ready soon after we arrived to eat lunch in the restaurant (which is something that we have been doing quite often lately). The employee did say hello when we walked in amd I gave her a warm smile in return. There was only one other customer sitting at a table and the employee was making three pitas so we sat down to wait. After the employee delivered the food to the other customer, she started cleaning the tables, while our meat was on the grill. Everything was fine until my husband had to take a work call and outside. I looked to see if our pitas were done yet and noticed they were no longer on the prep boards, but they weren't in the mobile order pick-up location either. I walked over to the counter and saw the two pitas sitting there. The employee was standing near by spraying things with a cleaning spray. I asked if the two pitas were for Tammy. She said to me "I said hi when you walked in and you didn't say anything". I replied "I am sorry! I smiled at you when we walked in" . She said "Do you have a mobile order?" I said "Yes, for Tammy" which she said "I'll get it to you in a minute" and then she continued to walk around spraying and wiping things down. I was shocked by this, but waited. After realizing that she was trying to be rude to me for not saying hello, I got pretty upset. I asked her to stop what she was doing to hand me my food to which she replied she would in a minute. I was getting really angry and was ready to reach over the counter to grab my food, but then she turned around, grabbed our food (with her gloves that she had on for cleaning still on) and handed them to me with a fake forced smile. Been to this location many times. Never had a problem, until today. One other customer waiting for order besides me. 15 minutes later the person before me got their order. After 25 minutes of waiting for a simple order and seeing the two workers making order after order for the pu business I finally gave up and asked for my money back. I've worked in fast food and regular restaurants and any good operations always take care of in house customers first and then take-out. This location has a big management issue. We ate somewhere else but with in view of the pita pit and didn't wonder at all why there was nobody buying anything at that location at 12 noon. I have always loved this restaurant so it was extremely disappointing to have the experience I had today. Bianca was the girl helping us and she was extremely rude!! I ordered my food with no tomatoes and it came with so many. I went back to ask her if she would just remake it and she was very rude about it. I get it because it's annoying to have to redo something but she made it a huge issue. After she gave us the other pita it has no lettuce and none of the filling it should have other than the chicken. I was upset at the moment so I just wanted a refunded and to leave. I went to ask for a refund not wanting to cause a problem and she said it was made right and she will not give us a refund. My boyfriend then asked if she could just had so more lettuce and things, she ripped the rapping open. Threw lettuce on top and didn't even re rap it. I placed an order online Fork style Pita and whole wheat pita and they called me to make sure my credit card charge the right amount. Stopped here on our way from Coos Bay to NorCal on Monday 12/19/22. Looking for something fresh with gluten free options for my celiac daughter, the Pita Pit checked both boxes. To our delight, the store and bathroom (extra points) were clean, staff was super friendly and the food was really good. I had the Greek pita and daughter had chicken Caesar GF wrap. I have loved pita pit since the first time I ate here! The last couple months has been a little different. The service is very mediocre, my orders have wrong multiple times. I never had a big enough issue to stop eating here, but time was frustrating. Went in to get dinner, 3 girls ordered before me and then I ordered. It was completely dead otherwise. I waited my turn while the two people making pits messed up 2 of the pitas and made an extra one. When they finally make mine, they ripped the pita and had to scoop everything out and put into a new pita. I get home and the entire pita is stuck to the wrapper. Made a mess trying to unwrap it, ended up having to take all the veggies out and on to a plate and toss the wrapper covered in my pita.
