Your food is great...it's too bad your service is lacking! Came before the lunch rush but all the tables were dirty. Dude at the register kept wiping his nose on his sleeve and back of his hand... asked for extra meat and cheese plus add feta but that seemed to really confuse him and didnt even put it in the system. Got no extra meat and no mozzarella. Oh and they forgot to put dressing on the salad. Gave us bread but, no, we do not have butter today! My friend and I on our first visit there both ordered the French dip. When it came to the table it looked amazing and service was great. After tasting the sandwich there was a different taste than other French dips I have had in the past. I then looked in the sandwich and saw some sort of sauce in the bread. Typically a French dip has bread, meat, cheese. It was not inedible so we finished our sandwich mwich and asked as we left if this was typical for them and they said yes but they can make it without. We will go back but we will ask about ingredients before ordering as it was not clear to us that this sandwich would have sauce. read more

Disappointing Experience @ Sourdough & Co. in Medford, OR. This was the second time I have placed an order here and I was not impressed. There were 3 employees in the galley. I waited behind the only other customer present. When they were finished, the employee at the register stepped away, and I continued to stand there until she decided to come back. She wasn't concerned with being friendly or the customer service experience whatsoever. I guess the other 2 employees were not as well. The store itself was clean, with minimal holiday decor, and empty. It didn't have the energy or enthusiasm it once had when I first tried it out. I placed an order for a brisket sandwich and vegetable soup To-Go. When I unpacked my order, it was a wet, soggy mess. The vegetable soup had a small piece of tape on the lid, literally not even attached to the container. It tasted like 1/2 a can of grocery store soup. The very small piece of sourdough bread was good, but it was not individually wrapped and just thrown in a paper bag with the pre-packaged butter and plastic spoon. The brisket (sliced deli meat) sandwich was wrapped in a single paper sheet that was so thin and soggy from the tomato and coleslaw, that once I unwrapped it, I had to immediately transfer it to a plate. I was let down by the hard bread and the taste of the meat. The pickle was packed in a small paper bag that was completely wet all the way through and helped make the inside of the to-go bag wet with pickle juice. It tasted like a very sour Vlasic pickle without the crunch. After my interaction with the staff, along with the quality of the food for the price they charge, I'd rather go to Jimmy John's. read more

Food was amazing and price was very good. Very fresh sandwiches, lovely fresh bread. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Not too loud. Really great experience. Menu is similar to Panera with salads, sandwiches and soups but sandwiches are way fresher. The sourdough bread also has a very mild sourdough flavor which I liked. read more

We did like the bread. The bread is terrific. The sandwich I had was good but not mind blowing. Hubby got the brisket which was recommended and it was just okay. I've heard about some other items to try so we may do that. For just opening it wasn't as clean (restroom and soda area) as I thought it would be but they did just open. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Rip off city! Gloppy clam chowder was disgusting! I had to send it back. Meal prices are deceiving and way overpriced for the mediocre dry cracker bread that they try to pretend is authentic sourdough! Don't waste your time or precious money on this place. read more

This was my favorite sandwich shop until today, i ordered extra lettuce and got a small amount of black lettuce, i get mustard on my sandwiches but today the mustard was all over the outside of the bread. Sadly it will be a ling time before i go back. read more

We visited this location twice and both times the bread was very undercooked. We have gone regularly to locations in Arizona and California and it is our favorite place to go for sandwiches. I'm hoping that if we return to the one in Medford, we will have a different experience because we would like it to be a regular place for us. read more

I was ordering the Cesar salad until one day I literally got a bowl of lettuce. decided to try the Italian salad, and again NOTHING BUT A BOX OF LETTUCE!!!! Stars are based on taste/look of the sandwich, which was really great. Its not cheap and its not "fast", but here we go... I didn't want to like this place but for what I was looking for in the moment - a toasted turkey sandwich - it was actually really good. I got the 6" pesto turkey, hot, w/chips and drink so after tip it was $18. Service was very friendly and given it was 12:30 on a Thursday, the wait was expected, ~15 minutes. I think they get a ton of online and delivery orders so keep that in mind when you get there and there's no line. Its not bad but not sure I'd be back unless I was really craving something. I have worked in the service industry for many years now and I always give grace to other service workers especially during busy hours. However, I came in today and was not acknowledged for a while. None of the workers were communicating with each other and it seemed unorganized, the vibes were off. My order was also made wrong and Mac n cheese was cold :( Kudos to one young man who seemed new, he was put on the register and no one was helping him out. When he did ask for help from another coworker, he was dismissed. It's disappointing to see a work environment like this. But he was the only one putting in effort towards customers. Ordered a Caprese sandwich, their menu shows it comes with mozzarella, basil aioli, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze, but the only thing on it when it arrived was a small spattering of cheese and some balsamic. They won't put any items on your sandwich that are advertised as coming on the sandwich, you have to request each and every item be on the sandwich that is already supposed to come on the sandwich, or you'll just get bread and maybe a little cheese if you are lucky. read more

We went in for lunch yesterday. Ordered our sandwiches and soup, however, the young lady didn't add our soup to the order, unknown to me. When order came, it was just sandwiches. I went to the one I ordered from and asked about soup. She looked at me and proceeded with another order. My husband went up a few minutes later and asked about our soups again. Again, ignored. Finally when he went up a third time, the manager came over and said that they hadn't gotten on the order. She was nice to bring us the soup and said we could pay when the line went down. Then returned again to say it was on the house. If the one who took our order had said that in the first place, we would have been happy with our sandwiches only. Sandwiches were good. Chicken salad sandwich was very filling and packed with grapes and celery and chicken. French dip was good too. Maybe they should repeat the order back to the customer so this doesn't happen to others. read more

I have been here multiple times and find the sandwiches fantastic! The bread is incredible, so much so I purchased multiple loaves to serve on Thanksgiving. The service has always been top notch. I have ordered from several people, but my favorite is Theo, she always has a smile on her face and is ready to make sure your experience is going to be great and will have you wanting to return. I order multiple sandwiches at a time for our business meetings and Theo always makes sure the order is correct and so do her fellow crew members. I went in for my lunch and the girl with the half shaved head kept making rude comments about the others in there out loud. Last week she kept leaving the front to go check on a fish she kept talking about, would leave for a good 5 to 10 minutes and does this frequently.
