The food is flavored so nicely that you won't even miss you American ways of needing to top everything with cheese. The meat has been cleaned very well and only certain "clean" animal parts have been used. In addition, your food has been blessed. Amen! Take in the holy experience. Fresh ingredients and vegetables. If I had to pick on thing I didn't like was the pita. I prefer the hot pressed pita instead of the flamed warm thick pita. Reason being is the with the warmed thick pita tends to crumble up with all the meat juices and sauces. When it's the pita is pressed heat it makes a ever so slight outer crust that always keeps the shawarma together till the last bite. The outside/shopping area isn't much to look at, but the restaurant is nice and clean inside and the staff was very nice and friendly. Food was ready quickly and for $20, there was a ton of it. I went with one of the meat platters to try a bit of everything and I have tons of leftovers now. As a snowbird looking for good kosher food in Toronto is difficult. But in Florida the Kosher scene seems to be running rampant and this place is a good example of it. I'm particular about my falafels and shawarma since the options in Toronto are craptastic (with some exceptions to the rule). When I fly into Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, I make sure to make this a stop along the way. They get Israeli/Middle Easter style of food and they do it SO well. Seating is a bit of an issue because it's packed (or at least when I'm there) but it's manageable. But the kicker for me and what makes this place so awesome is that they offer Kubeh. I have never seen it offered anywhere other than my grandmother's house or at my mom's. It's not mindblowing kubeh, but good enough that I make it a point to order it on the side when I go.
