Love this spot! I pick up fresh bread here weekly. The big loaves are always so good. I buy for the week and store leftovers in the freezer. Nothing beats fresh bread. Shibolim Bakery is one of those places where I started planning my next visit as I was ordering and realized I could not order the whole menu. Everything we tried was fresh, thoughtful, and genuinely excellent. The Turkish burekas was unreal & perfect with the pickles on the side. Jerusalem bagel was amazing, and the Romanian bagel took me to another dimension. The chocolate babka/krantz is dangerous. Absurdly good. I am disappointed that I didn't take any pics, but it is because I was mesmerized by the flavors The Israeli bakery concept was really missing in South FL, and it is executed beautifully here. They aren't just relying on a "concept," and it works because the food speaks for itself. Beyond that, service was warm and efficient. Thus far, Shibolim has been the best bread bakery I've been to, and I've frequented a few. They are really friendly, down to earth and seem to be community driven. The breads are always fresh. We've used the bread for sandwiches, soup accompaniments, toasting, and so much more. The kids absolutely love them. On my last visit I found out they now have donuts. The hazelnut were delicious! Taste like a filling of Ferrero Rocher lol. In any case, as I said, the staff, especially a little miss who seems to work in the front and the back, is always friendly. It's always a pleasant visit providing a welcoming environment, making a repeat consumer of me. Keep up the great work guys! read more

The bread is very fresh here and you get pull it right off the baking racks and bag it yourself. We tried the sesame seed and the multicolor seed and thought the multicolor seed was the best. Also recommend getting a loaf that's less well done. My daughter loves the pain au chocolate because it is filled with a good amount of quality chocolate and it's also very fresh (straight from the baking racks). She also had the cinnamon roll with chocolate and the plain cinnamon roll and enjoyed these as well. The croissants are less flaky than you would find at a French bakery and more dense if you like that style. The prices are very fair. The long bread loaf is around $3-4 and the bakery items are sold per pound an$ weighed. The lady at the desk is very friendly and there are a lot of regulars that go here. Check it out if you are in the area and are looking for some fresh breads and pastries (even if you don't keep kosher). read more

What an amazing treat! We stopped by the newly opened bakery and cafe, conveniently located in Aventura. The food was so fresh, and the service was superb. They make delicious coffees and fresh squeezed juices. The shibolim breakfast was an absolute hit. Stopped by this local bakery and surprised to find a number of fresh baked breads and interesting pastries as well as cake Tried the recommended orange cake as well as a nice loaf of white bread with a slight onion coating. They also had a wide selection of fluffy rolls. Employee was friendly and recommended orange loaf. I encourage folks to support this local bakery. Plenty of free parking in front. read more

12/29/2024 I waited today Sunday to call that bakery to find out if they would have the special Israeli Hanuckah donuts sold prior to come with 2 buses. I kept calling and calling and no none picked up the phone for option 3 and others. The recording says free delivery which is not true. I also tried to order online and it is listed that option is unavailable right now. Strange business! I will go somewhere else to buy what I wish. Some one said that the cost the items is not listed close to the item. That is nothing as serious as not answering the phone. How could you do business in such conditions? The phone # listed on Google is 954 287 2804 and if someone answers option 2, they cannot help you because they are a third party. Option 3 is to speak to the manager but that NEVER happened. 12/31/2024 Nothing has changed trying to contact that bakery. Won't recommend it. 1/2/2025 Here I am truying to attach the photos of the donuts I purchased at another food store but only one was uploaded. Too bad! read more

On the postive, the bakery provides fresh challah, sweets, and other Jewish delights. The owners are nice. On the negative side, not all prices are marked on products and one of the staff, who is not the owner, is hostile and provided zero customer service. Shimbolim has the most delicious fresh kosher bread. Must try the sour dough, bagels and rolls. A great addition to any meal.

Stopped in when I saw the sign while driving on Federal Highway. I bought several bags of baked goods and canned beverages from Israel and was on my way. The staff is very helpful, I asked for a specific loaf and they got one from the back for me. When I work out of my Hollywood office I know where I will be calling on again. read more
