I met up on a date here and I let Hoodah know I was meeting a guy, somehow I was the first and only one inside the restaurant and I sat myself near a window in the corner. She not only looked out for him but oversaw the date to make sure I was safe. We ended up ordering 3 baklavas and he got a Turkish Coffee (yum!!) the baklava tasted handmade and I know, from experience, baklava takes about 8+ hours to make and the food was reasonably priced considering how it honored the cultural backround. I came here for my lunch break and was not disappointed. I only had 30 minutes so I asked the cook behind the counter how long it would take, and sure enough it took exactly five minutes. I had the veggie platter so I'd be surprised if it took longer but it was still nice to receive my food in the time I was promised. Everything was delicious. One thing that surprised me was the yolk they added to the hummus. I really liked that for something different. The staff are welcoming and the layout is very relaxing. Reason why I'm giving this place a 3 is because of the experience I had today not because of the food because it's amazing. But whoever the girl is that's working right now October 1st 2024 at 8PM is extremely rude. I love this place and eat here often but today this girl ruined my entire dinner that I was excited to eat. First my boyfriend calls and asks for a chicken shawarma for pickup she asks pita or sandwich we say pita pocket because that's what we ALWAYS get. We drive home look and it's a sandwich. We call and tell her that's it's not what we asked and she says "we don't have pita that's why" when we were literally at the restaurant looking at all the pita pockets around the counter and I told her I seen them and she goes "well you didn't say that maybe you said it wrong" So me and my bf drive back because how can we get a order WE WANTED WRONG ? I go there she tells me that we can keep them both and she will make one pita pocket for free . I said but we both want pita pocket and she goes okay fine we will remake. I told her she can also just reuse the meat we had in the sandwich so we don't cause extra hassle and she refused . Everything that came out of this woman's mouth was nothing but pure attitude and this is nothing I experienced from here before so I'm alittle pissed off. After the guy there makes us the pita pockets I ask her for the inconvenience can I keep those? What are you going to do throw them away ? After she initially said I could because she had them behind the register she says "I'll give them to the homeless" I said so you're willing to give them our food when we support your business? Being a person that grew up on Middle Eastern cuisine, I try to find amazing places to eat and when I happened upon Pita Pockets and tried a few of their dishes I find myself not being able to go back to anything else. I frequent this location at least four times out of the week, and I love that the staff makes you feel as though you're their friend and family. They've always got smiles on, and the ambiance of the shop is absolutely lovely and harmonious. Now, the food! I love lentil soup, and it's very rare that I find good lentil soup anywhere but when I tried theirs it made me want to have a second bowl! I treat it as my appetiser now, that's how good it is! The pita chips that they give on the side and garnishing the soup a bit makes it all the better. I've tried their kabob skewers, and it's delectable! My favourite two are the chicken and the lamb, while my fiancé's favourite is the kafta platter. If you love baba ghanouj, please try theirs! The tzatziki sauce, the tahini, the garlic dip! And the falafel! This staff really puts care and love into the way they conduct their business as well as the way they cook their foods. I put in an order for a work lunch delivery the day before the lunch time. I first called to make sure they were open and would deliver; keep in mind that it may be a small radius that they deliver to, so I would suggest calling. A coworker was concerned they wouldn't be open due to Passover, but lucky for us that this place is listed as Lebanese! My work location was a few miles away in Hollywood, so they said they could deliver. Their delivery and takeout menu is on Menupages and has a statement that they're not accepting orders, which is also why it's key to call the restaurant for an order. I collected lunch requests and called back to place an order later that night, and they sounded a little busy because the gentleman who answered my call said he's call back. 20 minutes later, I got a call back to place my order and a promise to let the driver know to call or text me once the delivery was there. I never got a call or text, but my coworkers received the delivery. I walked into the eating area to some of them saying "Oh my god this is sooo good!!" They were right! I chose a side of salad, hummus and pita for all the platters (you can choose 3 sides). The salad was nicely dressed with vinaigrette and some chips (tortilla?) for a nice crunch. The hummus was smooth and tasty with a nice topping of chickpeas and paprika, and the pita did a good job of enveloping the hummus and rice+shawarma+tahini that I shoved into my mouth. I had the Beef Shawarma Platter, and the shawarma and rice pilaf that it came on were a little dry but tender and savory great tasting. The tahini that came separately was a creamy enhancement for the meat. The only hiccup in the whole process was the language communication with the man over the phone (maybe he's the owner?); I had to ask him to repeat himself several times since for the love of the world, sometimes I couldn't understand what he was saying. But our order was accurate and was delivered on time. I think the harder it is to converse in English with a restaurant, the better and more authentic the food is. For the first time I decided to order from this place, 9/21/25. It was raining quite badly and I did not want to leave my house. Ordered 2 lamb gyros and 2 orders of falafel. Over an hour went by and the order would not arrive. I called and a person said the order was there, ready. I said I had ordered for delivery but he acted like he knew nothing about it so I decided to go pick it up. The order was there, ready but when I asked If I would get my delivery fee returned he said he wasn't the manager and he could do nothing about it, he said it was Ubers fault because they didn't arrive. They didn't even have the courtesy of calling me to say the food was there ready. This was very upsetting as I had to leave my house under terrible weather to be told I couldn't get the delivery fee returned. Ridiculous. Do not order for delivery, not to be trusted even though it's on the their website and they will charge you. As to the food, the lamb gyros were good but it wasn't pita, it seemed to be a Mexican soft tortilla wrap with lamb. It was actually ok but not what was expected. The falafel was so salty I had to throw it away. Very disappointing experience. read more

Food was okay not the best. The part that left sour taste in my mouth was their vegetarian platter was clearly marked as $14.99 on all menus (digital tv screen in shop and physical menus). He charged us $16.99 and when we asked about discrepancy, he casually said oh we changed the prices. We had ordered baklava too and the baklava was marked under as ice cream on receipt. I really wished that I could give this place 5 stars but I gotta be honest about my 3 star review base off of the food. I ordered an Arabi Shawarma Wrap, and I was immediately disappointed when I saw that this shawarma came in a tortilla wrap! Being Lebanese, I've never had a shawarma in a tortilla. I felt like I was having a quesadilla more than anything. That was the biggest disappointment. The chicken was good but I ended up getting a piece of fat which I did not like!! The wrap was missing the pomegranate molasses which is advertised it should be drizzled with, but wasn't. The garlic sauce did not taste like garlic at all. Just tasted bland. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu,but since I love lamb, I ordered the "lamb kabob platter" and a mousse cake. I would have given them 5 stars, but the lamb was over cooked and really chewy,almost tasted like hard beef cubes, so that was extremely disappointing for a $17 plate, the meat should have been the highlight. But overall the cook took his time preparing the meal and everything else was fresh. Decided to order for lunch once I noticed we had a menu for this place in the break room. I ordered the lamb and beef wrap. Awful decision. The wrap itself was thrown together (I actually witnessed him throw it together). Very hard and dry, the wrap fell apart every time I picked it up to take a bite. I almost didn't want to even finish it but the sauce they used kept me in good spirits lol. Most likely will never visit this place again. Major let down. read more
