WOW..Lebanese food. My wife loves mediterranean food so every chance we get to grab a bite makes her smile. I've seen this place a few times in the plaza but never could pronounce the name to remember it. The inside was extremely spacious and quiet. The lady working the register was friendly. Noticed the shawarma rotisserie skewers of beef & lamb glistening in the kitchen, but instead of getting the normal gyro, she wanted to try the fried falafel balls with hummus dip. They were ready in a few minutes and were very hot to the touch and larger than I thought. Took the balls togo and ate them in the car since it's the kinda food that is not too messy. Moist chickpeas on the inside with a a nice blast of herbs & spices coated by a crispy light brown shell. We both loved them. The gender assigned clean bathroom was ultra contemporary with marble walls and black onyx fixtures - great job! read more

Ever since going to Greece I love Mediterranean food and try to find something similar in Broward. Found this shawarma restaurant on University Drive in Davie. The menu was big but the waitress told me that the falafel balls were good and she was so right. Not just good but big with a side of tzatziki sauce. read more

I reviewed this place 11 months ago. Sometimes I get so caught up in visiting new places that I don't take time to revisit places I like. Glad I got back to this one. Food is still good. We got the mixed grill for one with 4 kababs: 1 skewer of filet mignon, 1 chicken kafta, 1 beef kafta, and 1 chicken. The kaftas were more moist and the other two meats were a tad overdone. The meal came with salad, rice, fries, and 1 small piece of spicy pita. I wish they would give less fries and more pita. (Altho the fries are to die for!) We splurged and had a Dubai Chocolate Gelato. It was divine! The bill was $51 with tax, tip, and my 10% NSU discount. read more

Found this place while running errands around Davie, looking for a quick snack on the go. Let me tell you, really good shawarma! We went with a chicken shawarma with no veggies as we wanted something simple, but it had a ton of flavor. Thin, fresh pita bread, juicy chicken, and flavorful garlic sauce -- can't go wrong. Service was very fast and the food was cooked fresh. We took our food to go, but the restaurant looked nice and clean, with ample seating. Was feeling for falafel and found this spot in the Target plaza! I walked in and it was filled with Arab love, families and happy people breaking bread. Always a good sign when you go to an ethnic eatery and see the ethnicity around. I ordered chicken shawarma platter, falafel and grape leaves to go. Food was delicious!! Got chicken pita, Kafta pita, and fries. Had to wait a long time for order. Both pitas tasted stale. My fiance ate half her chicken pita and couldn't stomach the rest complaining the chicken was no good. My Kafta pita was ok. Was not warm and I thought Trader Joe's quality frozen Kafta was better. Disappointing considering the price. I will say the fries were great. read more

Went here for my friend's birthday dinner. Service was a little concerning. I ordered the shrimp meal and when my meal arrived it was missing fries. I asked the waiter for the fries and he reported that it didn't come with fries. I asked for the menu as I clearly knew what I had ordered. The menu confirmed I was correct. The waiter immediately told me the menu changed and hasn't been updated. Totally not my problem as you can't have an outdated menu not mention it's outdated. He ended up giving me the fries after a back and forth. Turns out he was the manager/owner. Food was decent. The fries were a little too seasoned as the spice was added after cooking and a bit overwhelming. The shrimp was okay. A bit overcooked. Rice was fluffy and the salad was very pretty decent with an even balance of flavorful dressing. The restaurant was clean and cute decor. Great food!!! I know if a place is good by their baba ghanoush lol and this was one of the best Ive eaten. I had the Falafel Plater and was chef kiss my friend had a beautiful dish with chicken and he loved it as well. We were so hungry and enjoying the food that we didn't take any pictures, unfortunately. The staff was friendly and the food came out fast. The service is usually quite fast and they usually attend to all of your needs. The falafel wrap is actually one of the best I've had- I definitely recommend.
