    A Belly Dancer

Located in a strip mall off of Powerline in Pompano, this Lebanese Restaurant is a must go to! The menu was great as was the service. Everything we ordered and ate was delicious. They even had a talented Belly Dancer for entertainment.

We had a fabulous lunch at La Vie today. We were seated as soon as we arrived and the great service continued throughout our visit. The restaurant was decorated beautifully with calm music playing. The server took our order and the appetizer (hummus and pita) came out quick. The pitas were round, puffy, hot and super delicious. So delicious I forgot to take a picture. lol. Our lunch arrived shortly thereafter and the presentation was outstanding and the food was cooked to perfection. Nice large portions. Enough that we were very full and had leftovers to take away. La Vie is indeed a place to for an awesome meal.

    Seafood tagine

I guess this is partly on me for going to a Lebanese restaurant and ordering the tagine, a very decidedly non-Lebanese dish, but in my defense, it was what our server recommended. Regardless, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant meals I've had in a while. First of all, it was unlike any tagine I've ever eaten. It didn't have the correct flavor profile, the sauce was thick, pasty, and creamy, and the mix of veg was off (mostly large-cut peppers and olives). Second, the serving of seafood was scant, especially for an almost $40 dish. I counted just two mussels, three shrimp, and a couple small bites of fish. In fact, most of the dish was cubes of potato, which felt like filler, there to make up for the lack of seafood. The flavor wasn't particularly bad, but again, it wasn't anything I associate with a tagine, and the density of the sauce made the meal salty and unpleasant to eat. It's possible that other menu items are better, but nothing my friends ordered particularly appealed to me. The atmosphere was nice, but I don't see myself returning.

Despite going in Saturday afternoon when there were few people eating the place must be really atmospheric when busy due to elaborate decor. Food excellent. Fresh simple salad with light olive oil dressing The lamb tangene although lacking other vegetables which we do when we make them is more than made up for with very generous helping of lamb. Good choice of cocktails. Friendly service with indoor and outdoor tables in corner of strip mall so plenty of parking. Part of a small chain including at least sister restaurant in West Palm Beach where we certainly want to try and compare next time we want Lebanese menu.

Wonderful dining experience. Very authentic Lebanese food and the cloud-like bread is fresh out of the oven. You have to try the hummus, lamb and spinach fatayer (dough pies). The cocktails are equally as delicious, they have a great lemon martini. The atmosphere ai would describe as a Mediterranean Mai-Kai, minus the shows. Dark, romantic ambiance with table lights. Gratuity was included in the meal (we had a party of 8).

Best food ever! We wanted to order the whole entire menu.

This was my third time here and I will be back again for sure. The food is amazing, the waiters are super nice and the girls dancing make the whole thing an awesome experience! I love the music, the vibes, the drinks, and it's always so much fun. I have been just for dinner, and also to celebrate birthdays! Just keep in mind that they do charge you a $25 fee if you bring your own birthday cake, so might as well leave the cake at home and order one of their delicious desserts!

What a night I had. I loved this restaurant. The entertainment was awesome. The belly dancer was talented and full of energy. It was a joy to watch her show. She does two shows per night. I recommend staying for them. This is one beautiful place. They put so many details into the decor. They didn't miss a spot, maybe the bathrooms lol. It has a bar towards the back and an outdoor sitting area as well as an indoor one. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. It was a fun place. This was my first time having Lebanese cuisine and I liked it. I ordered by recommendations from the waitress. She did good. I liked her taste. We started with a yummy cocktail and then followed it with the Hot Trio an appetizer sampler. It was good. Lang Tagine was delish. I had never had anything like it before. We ended the dinner with Baklava. Everything tasted good. I was happy. The restaurant is located at a corner. It has plenty of parking right in front of it. I had a great experience here.

Excellent service and food. We enjoyed the fattoush salad and hummus. The interior was gorgeous.

Finally made it to La vie pompano! Although I just figured out this past week there is another location north closer to me I wanted to visited this location specifically. I've heard about it over the years so it just felt right. Arrived on a Sunday evening where Monday was a holiday so it wasn't too busy. Got to enjoy about 30minutes of belly dancing which was entertaining. I got the flight of mixed Lebanese wines. I didn't love the red. Got a cold appetizer mix of grape leaves, tabouli, baba ghanoush, and hummus to share with the table. For dinner my fiancé got the lamb tagine so fortunately I got to taste it and I got the mixed meats of kefta, chicken and filet mignon. We got the pistachi cotton candy style dessert which was fabulous and unique. My man got an expression martini and we were impressed by the taste and they sketched a heart on top. We weren't expecting to see that here and were highly impressed. It ended up being an expensive night but would return again!

We have been wanting to try this place for some time. Ordered several dishes to share. Drinks were great, several dishes were very good. Didn't love the lamb chops and the assorted pickles were way too salty. Everything else was fantastic and you can't beat the atmosphere or decor. The belly dancing was a nice touch - but the music gets quite loud so may be too much if anyone in your party is sensitive to sound. I definitely recommend folks give this place a try!

Wondeful service. Beautiful venue! We visited tris restaurant located in Pompano Beach, the restaurant serves Lebanese cuisine, the restaurant has a beautiful decor and offers a top notch dining experience. Every detail is captivating. As for the menu It has a variety of choices including Lamb, Chicken, appetizers, salads, desserts, cocktails and Arabic coffee. We ordered the mixed and grilled meats, every bite has a wonderful flavor and the hummus and sauces were delicious. The chicken was tender, had plentiful flavor. All was served with a generous amount of fresh pita bread. As for dessert we tried the Vaklava, it was the best I had tried in Florida, lots of pistachio pieces and a very rich and sweet flavor. A very generous amount. Simply delicious! Sam took good care of us and she made sure we enjoyed our meal, it was an overall extraordinary service and culinary experience. We stayed there almost 2 hours, I'm very grateful with the staff who made sure we enjoyed our dining experience.

We went to the WPB location. What a beautiful experience we had tonight! Raul and Justin shared their amazing service and recommendations throughout the evening. The food was delicious and made with love. You could taste the rich culture and care that was taken in the preparation of every bite we had! The belly dancer was such a treat!! Thank you!! We can't wait to come back!

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

While we originally only planned to stop by for a drink or two before heading to dinner, we ended up staying much longer because we were having so much fun. A huge plus is their Happy Hour, which runs until 7 PM every day--at that point, why would we go anywhere else? Outdoors, there's plenty of table space, a bar, and a stage for live music. It looked like it has been expanded since my first time there. I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.

For dessert we had their bread pudding and Dubai chocolate brownie that came recommended from our waitress. Definitely enough to share and very decadent. Lastly, I want to compliment the service. Our drinks were always full, food came out altogether, and they took the time to explain various dishes and how they differ from the typical Mediterranean dishes. Our waitress was an absolute delight!

Very nice little restaurant. I found it by accident when checking Mediterranean restaurants in the…read morearea and La Marsa came up. They are located right next to Publix, plenty of parking and the restaurant has a very cozy and beautiful indoor interior. The employees were very friendly and welcoming, our waiter explained the menu and gave us recommendations. We ordered few small items and everything was fresh and flavourful... but I had a very big surprise about my favourite Tabbouleh salad. I always order this salad in many different states and countries and I love it. This was the only time I couldn't eat it. It was just way too much green onion in it (really competing with parsley). Like tons and large crunchy pieces of green onion. I took the salad home hoping my husband would eat it but he said "This is green onion Tabbouleh, not parsley". So yeah, that's my only disappointment here. Maybe it was the only time they made it like that by accident.. or maybe that's their ratio recipe, I wasn't sure. The Lentil soup was delicious! Also my friend's dish - the lamb and roasted veggies were pretty good. I would love to come back and try another dishes, their famous tea and/or coffee.
