Dr Pittman is awesome! I walked in a few weeks ago barely able to stand. I was miserable. Leaning down was out of the question. I do physical work and this time of year its typical to have some back pain but this year it was unbearable. He got me in right away. Did some adjustments and then scheduled me another visit in a few days. Really tweaked my low back. It's a recurring issue. Super sore and felt like something was out of whack. Been looking for a La Mesa area chiropractor for awhile. I have gone to a handful of other chiropractors only to be seriously disappointed that they didn't care enough to figure out what was wrong with my neck. All the others never requested to see xrays, never questioned why their treatments weren't working, never had me experiment with stretching or exercises. I was so frustrated. A friend told me about Dr. Pittman and I went expecting that they would charge me $45 per session to adjust me and I would go obediently for 4-6 weeks expecting some sort of change and after nothing happens, quit going and live with the pain again. No way, not this team. Senior Dr. Pittman started the practice years ago and is now handing over his successful business to his son. Both Junior and Senior are sincere and concerned in nutrition and overall health. Both took the time to talk with me, even after my 15th visit. Finally I'm not feeling like a revolving door! ;) Both make you feel like you are the only patient on the roster, even though they have a full waiting room. Even when I explained that consistent treatments would be great if I could afford it, they found a way to help me out so that the treatments would help and I wouldn't have to take out a small loan. Been going here for a month or so as I needed to and Dr. Pittman is super helpful and listened to my problems. I have always had back problems and chiropractic care is the only thing that fixes them, but it has to be just right. He is gentle but strong enough to give a good adjustment that relieves the tension in my neck and back and put things back into alignment (also gets rid of my migraines!) Over 8 years ago I was diagnosed with a low grade spondylolisthesis. I had underwent 2 epidural injections to the spine (which only relieved my symptoms for a short time). I underwent physical Therapy (Which had a better effect than having a needle in the spine). A little over a month ago I began having the same old symptoms and really thought I was ready to "go under the needle" again. A little research (that my Doctors did not tell me) showed that many patients can benefit from chiropractic care for this condition. Dr. Pittman is the best chiropractor I have been to. His outstanding skills led to relief from excruciating back pain that I was suffering from this week. I cannot take pain meds nor muscle relaxers, nor anti-inflammatory drugs, so I get really in a bind when my back acts up. Thanks to Dr. Pittman, after one visit, I had very significant help for my painful back spasms which had prevented me from doing anything for a couple of days, and had me in tears. Dr. Pittman is a gem & I'm grateful to have found him! I was in search of a new chiropractor since my needs outgrew the abilities of my current one who had served me for many years. A talented high school friend who's a practicing chiropractor in FL gave me the referral of his mentor in San Diego, & warned me he was unsure if he was still practicing. After returning to CA, I found the practice, called & left a message. My call was returned immediately & Dr. Pittman said I believe you are looking for my dad who has passed. After my condolences, I explained how I got the referral. He said I was welcome to come in to see him.
