I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis for at least 10 years. It started as a running injury. I stopped running and it seemed to go away. So I started running again. Dr. Derek has been incredible for the past 1.5 year that I have been seeing him. I originally didn't know much about Chiropractics before seeing him other than it could be beneficial for overall health. I initially bought dr rice's groupon deal as an Xmas present for the boyfriend but he totally forgot about it and moved to the east coast. Soooo I decided to take advantage of the $69 initial consult + 2 adjustment with Dr Rice and I cannot be happier that I did! Sorry bf, your loss! Hahahha The initial consultation was detailed, comfortable, and informative. Dr rice has a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable when it comes to his trade. He was happy and excited to teach me about the importance of good posture. On my first adjustment we went over my posture analysis from the pix we took during the consultation. The analysis was clear and easy to understand. From the grids we can easily tell just how out of alignment my spine is... For instance my left shoulder is a few millimeters higher than my right head is a few millimeters forward etc! (This was disturbing to say the least but I'm so glad I know these now so I can make the necessary adjustments! Ie carrying my purse on my right shoulder instead of my left, investing in a neck pillow that brings back my spine, etc). Dr rice also taught me tricks that greatly helped my chronic shoulder pain and I left His office feeling like a new person thanks to his adjustments. I've been receiving care from Dr. Derek Rice off and on for 2 years now. I have to say, I'm a bad patient and only go when I'm hurting bad! If I saw him regularly, I'd probably feel a lot better! But when I have seen him, he has helped me tremendously. Terrible migraines which turned into a constant nerve pain on one side of my face, gone. The docs just wanted to give me painkillers and had no other advice for me. I had back spasms that were debilitating. I didn't bother going to the doc for that one. I called Dr. D straight away. He fixed it! Now we're working on some hip pain that I've had for years, ever since my daughter's head went thru my pelvis during birth.
