I've been having pain in my chest/back for several months now. I've seen other chiropractors (the Joint 2x) with no results to speak of, I went to my general practitioner and obtained multiple X-Rays and left without any insight into what was wrong. As I have been losing sleep every night for months, I figured I would try one more chiropractor to see if they could help me figure out what was going on. I called EJ Chiropractic and they were able to squeeze me in for the last slot of the evening on the same day. First off - I've been to roughly a dozen chiropractors in my life and only one other has have given close to such a thorough initial evaluation as I received from Dr. Gross. I was thoroughly impressed. Better yet, he was able to confidently tell me what the issue was and went through a series of adjustment procedures for 15 minutes straight. Once he was done, the pain I had had vanished. I've had scoliosis (curvature of the spine) all my life, along with poor posture and back pain. At the age of 68, it has not been getting easier and I finally made the decision to see a chiropractor. Dr. Gross had good reviews and was close to where I live, so I chose to try him. His method has worked. At first I saw him two times per week. Then as I slowly improved, appointments were made one time per week, and then one time every two weeks. Currently I am seeing him now one time per month. If you want his program to work, though, you really have to make a serious commitment and do all of the daily exercises at home. Time-wise, these exercises can be done in about 40 minutes and include some stretches, core-isolation maneuvers, use of a hard-foam roller, and lying on a Denneroll foam piece. (When I use the Denneroll, I put on headphones and listen to podcasts or Youtube videos, as it makes the time go faster.) read more

Dr. Gross is the best. He cares a lot about his patients and uses a variety of techniques to customize each persons treatment. He takes the time to educate his patients and treats all ages. Dr. Gross is a wonderful chiropractor. I hurt my lower back lifting something heavy. I waited a month for the pain to go away but unfortunately it persisted, so I figured I needed a professional, and boy am I glad to have found Dr. Gross. I'm very active and this pain prevented me from even being able to work out. After just 3-4 sessions with Dr. Gross, I was already seeing major improvements. Now I am on session either 5 or 6 and feel pretty much no pain. I will continue to see Dr. Gross because you can tell he truly cares about his patients... Plus it's good to get ongoing alignments. I've been seeing Dr. Gross for about 9 years for "maintenance". He's gentle, kind, a good listener and always does a great job making me feel better. He fitted me for custom orthotics and ordered them. They have made running and general foot care a lot better. I've ordered a few foam pillows from Dr. Gross and each one has seemed better and more reasonably priced than anywhere else. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and he is licensed with the Webster Method. I am amazed at how easy this has made my pregnancy. I haven't had any round ligament pain and overall not much pain at all. I attribute this to his adjustments. Dr. Gross is a very caring chiropractor who is very thorough in helping his patients. He does his adjustments and uses other useful tools if needed. I am a student so he also does student packages which is helpful financially. He also will take an X-ray at the consultation appointment if he feels it is necessary. Dr. Gross has helped me recover from lots of nerve pain in my lower back, and even helped me increase my body's readiness and performance when I was training for a race. I have been seeing him for almost two years and I recommend him! One suggestion for Dr. Gross: to check palpations before and after your adjustment. Also appointment timing is about 10-15 minutes usually but sometimes it takes a little longer which is okay except sometimes I don't have extra time at my appointment. At last I found the right chiropractor. I am picky. I worked as a chiropractic assistant for about 15 years. Dr. Gross is exactly what I was looking for. His adjustments are effective. He even gives you a choice between treatment styles. It is nice that he is confident with a variety of styles as many chiropractors have strong preference. It is great that he gets the muscles relaxed before the adjustment. If needed, there is additional physiotherapy, such as his cool laser or ultrasound to speed healing, at no additional cost! In my experience, when doctors cater to cash patients these services get dropped. The office girls are warm and friendly. They quickly found my silly side that I reserve for young students and family. Way to go, girls. They are accurate with scheduling appointments. I don't have time to waste on driving to an appointment that does not exist. We have not had any misunderstandings with scheduling. Waiting to be seen is rarely an issue. This review is a bit overdue but I wanted to share my full experience here and not just one day. First of all Dr. Gross was able to fit me in his busy schedule with just one hour notice. I have had back pains for over 25 years and I was having an episode of pure pain. I walked out of his office feeling much better, and he identified some alignment issues going on, and was able to correct them over a few visits. He demonstrated exercises I could do to help my back along with some mobility and posture techniques that has helped me day to day. I have been seeing Dr. Gross for over 2 months and my pain has been reduced quite a bit during this period. After a fall back on December 17th, I was getting tremendous headaches, neck pain, and right shoulder pain. I would say I am now about 75% better. He is also likes to make sure people drink plenty of water to hydrate which I do....all day, but most importantly he likes to talk about a healthy diet as part of the healing process.
