My teeth are getting a bit wacky in the front with age so I was curious what treatment plan Dr Younis would recommend; I knew I could trust his opinion. It's not often you'll find a provider who's more concerned with your quality of life versus making a sale. Dr Younis has so much integrity... he told me at this stage of my life he would not recommend braces or Invisalign unless I really was bothered by my crowding issues. Because of some TMJ symptoms I have, he told me messing with my bite may exacerbate my issue. I truly appreciate Dr Younis and his staff. They value their patients. The wait time for appointments is minimal if any, the office is easy to get in and out of, they do offer payments plans, and when my kids constantly were breaking their bands and brackets we were always treated well and seen promptly.

As soon as the orthodontist stepped into the room, I informed her that I was retired and didn't have ortho insurance and was concerned about the costs, she stated, if costs is the concern, I'm not going to be your low cost solution. I sat in the chair for 5 minutes and she charged me $50. More interested in making money than taking care of patients.

She never knew what she was doing. If a brace came lose, she left it, her course of treatment was never clear, etc... She never talked to parents directly. I noticed she never had the same workers and could not keep anyone. She was never able to get my insurance after 3 1/2 years. When we wanted the braces off, she wanted us to sign an agreement. We are now at a different orthodontics with braces again, because even after 3 1/2 years teeth are not straight. Overall, I wish I had asked around more because now when we mentioned where we went the reaction it never good, and everyone seems to have the same kind of story.

The office wanted to charge me more for a second consultation as if I'm supposed to trust them now lol. I was supposed to collect my retainers August 17th at 8am only to discover that I needed to come back the next day because front desk or whomever didn't notify me that UPS comes between 11am or 12 to 3. Why would you not educate and agree with Invisalign retainers knowing I have missing teeth to make space for aligning and an overbite? I took time out of my day earlier this week to make a second and last payment for the retainers because once again someone was incompetent not to collect. I trusted NVO Orthodontics and Dr. Itani with my smile, and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've made. They completed my treatment even though my lower teeth were still crooked and my upper front teeth were still protruding. Anyone could clearly see that the treatment was not finished properly. I repeatedly expressed that I was unhappy with the results, but my concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of working with me to achieve the outcome I had paid for, they simply ended my treatment. I left the office feeling disappointed, frustrated, and hopeless. Orthodontic treatment is a significant investment of both time and money, and patients deserve to have their concerns heard and addressed--not dismissed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend NVO Orthodontics. I felt like getting paid was more important to them than making sure I was satisfied with the results of my treatment.
